Banaskantha is one among the thirty-three districts of the Gujarat state of India. The administrative headquarters of the district is at Palanpur which is also its largest city. The district is located in the Northeast of Gujarat and is presumably named after the West Banas River which runs through the valley between Mount Abu and Aravalli Range, flowing to the plains of Gujarat in this region and towards the Rann of Kutch. The district is famous for the Ambaji temple and the Balaram temple which draw many tourists.
Banaskantha has a population of 2,504,244 of which 11.00% were urban as of 2001. It covers an area of 10,751 km2 and is the second largest district in the state. Banaskantha shares its borders with Rajasthan state in the North, Sabarkantha district in East, Kutch district in West and Patan district and Mehsana district in the South.
The economy of the district is based on agro & food Processing, tourism, textile and mineral based industries (ceramics). The food Processing industry in the district has attracted 57% of the total investment in the district over the last two decades The district ranks first in the state in the production of vegetables contributing nearly 17.67% to the total vegetable production of Gujarat. It is the largest producer of potatoes in the state. Bajri, Maize, Tobacco, Castor oil, Jowar, Psyllium are the other major crops of the district. It is also one of the leading producers of Isabgul (Psyllium husk) in the country. It is also the 3rd largest producer of oil seeds in the state after Junagadh district and Jamnagar district.
Heavy Rain is an interactive drama action-adventure video game developed by Quantic Dream and published by Sony Computer Entertainment exclusively for the PlayStation 3 in February 2010.
The game is a film noir thriller, featuring four diverse protagonists involved with the mystery of the Origami Killer, a serial killer who uses extended periods of rainfall to drown his victims. The player interacts with the game by performing actions highlighted on screen related to motions on the controller, and in some cases, performing a series of quick time events during fast-paced action sequences. The player's decisions and actions during the game will affect the narrative. The main characters can be killed, and certain actions may lead to different scenes and endings.
Heavy Rain was a critical and commercial success, winning multiple Game of the Year awards and selling over three million copies. A film adaptation of the game is currently in development. A PlayStation 4 version was announced in June 2015 and is set to be released on March 1, 2016.
Follow is the third album by Pakho Chau, comprising four new tracks and nine previously released tracks. It was released in Hong Kong on July 10, 2009.

Incessant rains lashed most parts of Gujarat causing flooding in the areas of north Gujarat, Kutch and south Gujarat region. Several districts have received more than their normal average of the season. Heavy rains caused flooding in districts of Banaskantha, Mehsana, Patan, Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Kutch and parts of Saurashtra, where people had to be evacuated to safer places. As per the met department data, Banaskantha district in north Gujarat had received cumulative rainfall of 532 mm till 5 am of July 28 showing 105 per cent rise from the normal 259 mm.
