Your AFL club's most surprising sharpshooter

Every team has goalkickers who make you breathe a little easier when they have the ball in front of the big sticks.

But while spearheads such as Joe Daniher, Ben Brown, Tom Hawkins, Jonathon Patton, Gold Coast's Tom Lynch, Jack Riewoldt, Tim Membrey and Josh Jenkins have been recognised for their accuracy in 2017 (even if Daniher has had his wayward moments from set shots) there is also an army of more obscure players gaining a reputation for reliability in front of goal.

FootyFix: Can the Cats win without Danger?

Sam McClure previews all the footy action ahead of round 20 in the AFL.

Sure, they don't get as many shots on goal as their big-name counterparts. Some are defenders, some are ruckmen who rest up forward, and some are midfielders who hit the scoreboard. But each club has an unexpected marksman you can just about set your watch to each time he lines up.

These players do their work in the shadows, but when they get their chance, they could very well get your side out of a sticky situation with their surprisingly impressive ability to rack up six-pointers.

Here is your club's most unexpected sharpshooter.
