Colorado (i/kɒləˈrædoʊ/, or /kɒləˈrɑːdoʊ/) (Spanish for "ruddy") is a state in the United States encompassing most of the Southern Rocky Mountains as well as the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau and the western edge of the Great Plains. Colorado is part of the Western United States, the Southwestern United States, and the Mountain States. Colorado is the 8th most extensive and the 22nd most populous of the 50 United States. The United States Census Bureau estimates that the population of Colorado was 5,456,574 on July 1, 2015, an increase of 8.50% since the 2010 United States Census.
The state was named for the Colorado River, which Spanish travelers named the Río Colorado for the ruddy (Spanish: colorado) silt the river carried from the mountains. The Territory of Colorado was organized on February 28, 1861, and on August 1, 1876, U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant signed Proclamation 230 admitting Colorado to the Union as the 38th state. Colorado is nicknamed the "Centennial State" because it became a state 28 days after the centennial of the United States Declaration of Independence.
The Colorado River is one of the principal rivers of the Southwestern United States and northern Mexico (the other being the Rio Grande). The 1,450-mile (2,330 km) Colorado River drains an expansive, arid watershed that encompasses parts of seven U.S. and two Mexican states. Rising in the central Rocky Mountains in the U.S., the river flows generally southwest across the Colorado Plateau and through the Grand Canyon before reaching Lake Mead on the Arizona–Nevada border, where it turns south toward the international border. After entering Mexico, the Colorado approaches the large Colorado River Delta at the tip of the Gulf of California between Baja California and Sonora.
Known for its dramatic canyons and whitewater rapids, the Colorado is a vital source of water for agricultural and urban areas in the southwestern desert lands of North America. The river and its tributaries are controlled by an extensive system of dams, reservoirs, and aqueducts, which divert 90% of its water in the U.S. alone to furnish irrigation and municipal water supply for almost 40 million people both inside and outside the watershed. The Colorado's large flow and steep gradient are used for generating hydroelectric power, and its major dams regulate peaking power demands in much of the Intermountain West. Intensive water consumption has dried the lower 100 miles (160 km) of the river such that it has not consistently reached the sea since the 1960s.

The Colorado Symphony is an American symphony orchestra located in Denver, Colorado. Established in 1989 as the successor to the Denver Symphony Orchestra, the Colorado Symphony performs in Boettcher Concert Hall, located in the Denver Performing Arts center, and throughout the Front Range, presenting education and outreach programs, as well as Masterworks, Pops, Holiday, Family, and the Inside the Score and Symphony on the Rocks series. Its current president and CEO is Jerome Kern, and its current music director is Andrew Litton.
The Colorado Symphony Orchestra began as the successor organization to the Denver Symphony Orchestra shortly after the Denver Symphony cancelled the remainder of its 1988-1989 season for financial reasons. In August 1989, percussionist Terry Smith and former principal bassoonist John Wetherill filed articles of incorporation with the Colorado Secretary of State, founding the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. A dispute was going on between the Denver Symphony Orchestra's management and its musicians. As the registered agent of the newly formed organization, Smith was the primary target of potential lawsuits. The Denver Symphony's union contract prohibited musicians from joining competing ensembles. However, when the musicians voted to quit the Denver Symphony en masse and join the Colorado Symphony, legal challenges and threats to remove players diminished. With the Denver Symphony filing for bankruptcy protection on October 4, 1989, the Colorado Symphony played its first concert on October 27. Days later, on November 1, Smith and Wetherill signed the new nonprofit corporation over to the musicians' elected representatives. The Denver Symphony Orchestra merged with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra in May 1990.
Gregory Alan Isakov is a singer-songwriter. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he immigrated to the United States as a child, and was raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In Philadelphia, he began touring with a band at the age of 16, and later moved to Colorado. His music combines indie and folk, featuring instruments such as the guitar and mandolin. Some of his most popular songs include "The Stable Song," "Big Black Car," and "Raising Cain".
Isakov has spent his entire life traveling, and as a result, his travels have impacted his songwriting; his songs tell stories of miles and landscapes and the search for a sense of place. Music has been a constant force in his life, as he says, "I've always had this sense about music and writing, that I sort of have to do it. Like I'll implode without it. I probably wouldn't do it if I felt any other way."
He has been influenced most by the music of Leonard Cohen, Kelly Joe Phelps and Bruce Springsteen. Gregory has played at many music festivals held across the United States, Canada and Europe. Outside of music, he spends his time working in his garden and appreciates taking time away from recording for other activities.

Bonacca tells the story of a few Honduran fly fishing guides from the Bay Island of Guanaja. In 1998, Hurricane Mitch ravaged Guanaja, and the natives were stripped of nearly everything, including almost 95% of their mangrove population which was a vital habitat to their fishery. In Mitch's wake, an already struggling economy found it difficult to rebuild. When now head fishing guide Rankin Jackson was on the mainland working as a rafting guide he met Colorado trout bum Steve Brown and the two quickly shared a bond over fishing. Rankin invited Brown to Guanaja to explore the fishery with him, and it was then that the story unfolded. Jobs were close to none and still are, but Rankin and his brothers looked to their ancestral past as fishermen and quickly learned how to become fly fishing ...

Well, the T7 Colorado was once the laughing stock and paywall of the USN BB line. Is it still the paywall? Nope! In fact, the battle video you are going to see is the first battle in this beast after a full YEAR of having not played it. Color me impressed because this is NOT the Colorado of the CBT and early OBT days! What WG did was turn this ship into a viable T7 battleship! Is it as good as the Gneisenau and Nagato? Well, it certainly has it's own strengths over those two ships and is no slouch. It definitely has gained my respect and a permanent port slot in my fleet! I always was uneasy about what WG did to the Colorado. Navyfield did the same thing to her in NF2 so I'm glad to see WG has changed course on this ship and made it actually good to give credit to the history of ...

The Colorado Trail Race is a 530-mile ultra-endurance bikepacking race along the Colorado Trail, which stretches from the outskirts of Denver to the small town of Durango. The route is primarily singletrack, with several Wilderness detours that add some dirt roads and pavement. With about 75,000 feet of cumulative elevation gain, much of which is above 10,000 feet, the trail is demanding, taking anywhere from 4 days to 2 weeks for racers to complete. The story of the American West is deeply rooted in the Colorado River, which delivers fresh water to 30 million people. For years, there has been more Colorado water on paper and in people’s minds than in the river itself. Now climate disruption is making the situation even more troubling. Water levels are so low in Lake Mead that soon they will trigger unprecedented mandatory water cutbacks in Arizona, Nevada and elsewhere. That harsh reality is hard to grok with headlines about the abundance of water in California reservoirs and massive snow levels in the Sierra. How is the Colorado River connected to California’s other water concerns such as the Delta Tunnels and Salton Sea? Join us for a conversation about protecting the water many westerners take for granted and restoring one of the ...
Real Talk on Bikepacking the Colorado Trail. The following video tells the story of three Canadians; Jonny Bath, Michael Bain and myself. Like you, we live to ride our bikes. But we're regular non-sponsored joes (full disclosure I did get a pro-deal from Canfield Bros... but to be honest I think it was a mistake - suckers!). Did I mention the video is 30 minutes long... you'll probably want those back.

I worked an internship in the Bay Area of California over the summer of 2015. I ended up leaving a week early, packed my car, and drove East towards the mountains. I found myself at the Waterton Canyon trailhead with a loaded bike, butterflies in my stomach, and hopes of seeing Durango in 10 days time. Having only 14 days until my senior year of college started back up in Kansas, I knew that I'd have to put in some long days in order to finish on time and get back home. I wasn't sure how I would handle it, I'm not really a great technical rider (I mean, I'm from Kansas haha). Having hiked the CT back in 2013, I can say that biking it is a completely different beast. But if adventure is calling your name and tells you to bring your bike, go for it! Did I do the trail perfectly? Nope. I hitc...
This video review of the Colorado, the tier 7 US Battleship that most US BB captains dread. We look at the ships stats, recommended modules, captains skills and also some gameplay footage. The Colorado has her weaknesses but play her to her strengths (brawling) and she's actually decent. Her guns and armour are good enough that up close and personal is actually doable. Hopefully by the end of the video you will be able play the Colorado better and gain substantially better results. So sit back, relax and enjoy :) ♦ Join me on Twitch for more fun! ♦ http://www.twitch.tv/ichasegaming ♥ Don't forget to like me on Facebook ♥: https://www.facebook.com/ichasegaming ♥ Follow me on Twitter @iChaseGaming ♥: https://twitter.com/iChaseGaming If you like this video don't forget to LIKE and SUBSC...

You say you don't want me
Well I don't want you to go
You say you don't need me
You shut my hair in the door
You say you won't have me
You're leaving my wound all sore
Chorus:
Breakfast is goodnight
Yesterdays are old meals now
Times ripe for clearout
You say you can't eat it
Well I don't have any food
Yu say you can't face it
Well I'm not in any mood
You say you don't need it
You're leaving my head all chewed
(Chorus)
You say you can't stand it
well why don't you let it sit
You say you can't dig it
yet you'll never let me quit
you say you can't use it
you won't find a better fit
