Kidd (rapper)

Nicholas Westwood Kidd better known by his stage name Kidd (sometimes stylized as KIDD) (b. 31 March 1989) is a Danish-Scottish rapper and hip hop artist. After gaining attention online, he founded CHEFF Records. He was nominated for "Best Newcomer" in 2011 and performed during 2011 Danish Music Awards.

Westwood (Knoxville, Tennessee)

Westwood is an historic home located at 3425 Kingston Pike at the edge of the Sequoyah Hills area of Knoxville, Tennessee. Also known as the Adelia Armstrong Lutz House, the house was built in 1890 by John Lutz and his wife, artist Adelia Armstrong Lutz, on land given to them by Adelia's father, Robert H. Armstrong. In 1984, the house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its architecture.

The house stands on land that was once part of the large estate established by early Knoxville resident Drury P. Armstrong (1799–1856). Armstrong built Crescent Bend, which still stands nearby, in 1834. Robert H. Armstrong, a son of Drury, inherited a portion of his father's estate. The Bleak House, built by Robert in the 1850s, also still stands a few blocks from Westwood on Kingston Pike.

Westwood was designed in the Queen Anne style by the local architectural firm of Baumann Brothers. Unlike most Queen Anne houses extant in Knoxville, the house was executed in brick and stone, incorporating some Richardsonian Romanesque elements. The 5,000-square-foot (460 m²), 10-bedroom house has 10 fireplaces with custom mantels and decorative tiles. The front parlor features a hand-painted ceiling.

Westwood, Massachusetts

Westwood is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 14,618 at the 2010 census. In July 2005, CNN/Money and Money magazine ranked Westwood 13th on its list of the 100 Best Places to Live in the United States. Boston Magazine included Gay Street in Westwood on its list of the Best Streets in the Boston area. It is currently the 16th wealthiest town in Massachusetts.

History

Westwood was first settled in 1641 and was part of the town of Dedham (it was originally called 'West Dedham') until it was officially incorporated in 1897. It was the last town to split from the original town of Dedham.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 11.1 square miles (29 km²), of which, 11.0 square miles (28 km²) of it is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km²) of it (1.35%) is water.

Westwood (computer virus)

Westwood is a computer virus, a variant of the Jerusalem family, discovered August 1990, in Westwood, Los Angeles, California. The virus was isolated by a UCLA engineering student who discovered it in a copy of the "speed.com" program distributed with a new motherboard. Viral infection was first indicated when an early version of Microsoft Word reported internal checksum failure and failed to run.

Infection

Westwood was an early variant of the Jerusalem virus, which was the first DOS file infector to become common. Upon execution of an infected file, Westwood becomes memory resident. Any file of COM, EXE, or OVL types is infected upon execution, except COMMAND.COM.

Nicholas or Nikolas or Nicolas or Nickolas is a male given name, derived from the Greek name Νικόλαος (Nikolaos), a compound of νίκη nikē 'victory' and λαός; laos 'people', that is, victory of the people. The name became popular through Saint Nicholas, Bishop of Myra in Lycia, the inspiration for Santa Claus. The customary English version of spelling "Nicholas", using an "h", first came into use in the 12th century and has been firmly established since the Reformation, though "Nicolas" is occasionally used.

Nicholas (telenovela)

Nicholas is a 1958 Brazilian telenovela adapted from A. J. Cronin's 1950 novel, The Spanish Gardener. The series was directed by Julio Gouveia, the head of The Theatre School of São Paulo. It starred Ricardinho as Nicholas, and Roberto de Cleto as the gardener. The British film adaptation was released in 1956, and TV Tupi broadcast another Brazilian adaptation of Cronin's novel in 1967.
