TMZ

TMZ is a celebrity news website that debuted on November 8, 2005. It was a collaboration between AOL and Telepictures Productions, a division of Warner Bros., until Time Warner divested AOL in 2009. The name TMZ stands for thirty-mile zone, the historic "studio zone" within a 30-mile (50 km) radius centered at the intersection of West Beverly Boulevard and North La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.

TMZ's managing editor is Harvey Levin, a lawyer-turned-journalist who was previously a legal expert for the Los Angeles television station KCBS-TV. The site claims that it does not pay for stories or interviews; however, Levin has admitted that TMZ does "sometimes pay sources for leads on stories". Levin has stated that "everything is researched and vetted for accuracy." A companion television series, TMZ on TV, debuted on September 10, 2007.

Development

Seven months prior to the official launch of TMZ, America Online (AOL) had hinted that it was planning to launch a Hollywood and entertainment-centric news site that would be produced in conjunction with Telepictures Productions and had shown interest in launching a website featuring a focus mainly on celebrities. At the time of the launch, AOL confirmed that the site would primarily feature and consist of Hollywood gossip, including interviews, photos and video footage of celebrities and information pertaining to industry news on movies, television shows, etc. The site was described as "an effort to further feed the current American obsession with celebrities". Mike Shields of MediaWeek.com wrote, "the site also boasts of an expansive collection of archived star photos and videos", allowing fans to "trace changing hairlines and waistlines of their favorites performers over the years".

Austin Post (born July 4, 1995), better known by his stage name Post Malone, is an American recording artist and songwriter from Dallas, Texas. He first gained major recognition for his single "White Iverson" after releasing it on SoundCloud in February 2015. He is currently signed with Republic Records.

Early life

Austin Post was born on July 4, 1995, in Syracuse, New York. When he was 10-years old, he and his family moved to Dallas, Texas. He enjoyed playing basketball and watching sports. His father was the Dallas Cowboys' assistant director of food and beverage, and this meant that he was able to get free food and tickets to Dallas Cowboy games.

Post then taught himself on how to play the saxophone, and then he became a member of the heavy metal band in high school. He credited his initial interest in learning guitar to the popular video game Guitar Hero. He first learned how to produce music through FL Studio. When he was 16-years old, he's been started working on his first mixtape. He showed it to some of his classmates and it gained some popularity at his school. He credits his love for music to his father, who exposed him to many genres, including country music, while growing up and also his cousin Raj who exposed him to rap music at a young age. He often mentions his cousin who he used to watch basketball with from a young age but has lost touch with because of his new found fame.

Concordia University is a liberal arts university located Coordinates: 44°56′59.22″N 93°9′17.75″W / 44.9497833°N 93.1549306°W / 44.9497833; -93.1549306 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Concordia University was founded in 1893 and currently enrolls approximately 4,000 students. The institution is an affiliate of the ten-member Concordia University System, which is operated by the second-largest Lutheran church body in the United States, the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS).

History

Early history

Concordia University was founded in 1893 to provide a Christian learning environment for high school students preparing to enter the professional ministries of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The first students were welcomed to class on September 13, 1893, in temporary quarters next to Zion Lutheran Church in St. Paul. The following year, Concordia spent $22,000 to purchase 5 acres (2 ha) and several buildings previously owned by the state training school for boys in its current location midway between downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Paul Pogba

Paul Labile Pogba (born 15 March 1993) is a French professional footballer who plays for Italian club Juventus and the France national team. He operates primarily as a central midfielder and is comfortable at playing both in attack and defence.

Pogba was described by his former club Manchester United as a "powerful, skilful, and creative" player who has "an eye for goal and a penchant for the spectacular." In Italy, he gained the nicknames Il Polpo Paul ("Paul the Octopus") for his long legs that look like tentacles during tackling or running and "Pogboom" for his explosive style and energy on the pitch. These characteristics have led him to be compared with former France international Patrick Vieira. He received the Golden Boy award for 2013, given to the best under-21 player in Europe, followed by the Bravo Award in 2014, awarded to the best under-23 player who has participated in European competitions.

Pogba played internationally for France with the national youth football team, representing his nation at all levels for which he was eligible. With the under-16 team, he captained his nation to victories at the Aegean Cup and the Tournoi du Val-de-Marne and, at under-17 level, played at the 2010 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship. At under-20 level, he captained his nation to victory at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup and took home the Best Player award for his performances during the tournament. He made his debut for the senior French national team on 22 March 2013 in a 3–1 win against Georgia, and scored his first World Cup goal on 30 June 2014 against Nigeria; he was awarded the Best Young Player Award for his performances at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, after reaching the quarter-final.
