The Motion Picture Association of America's (MPAA) film-rating system is used in the United States and its territories to rate a film's suitability for certain audiences, based on its content. The MPAA rating system is a voluntary scheme that is not enforced by law; films can be exhibited without a rating, though many theaters refuse to exhibit non-rated or NC-17 rated films. Non-members of MPAA may also submit films for rating. Other media (such as television programs and video games) may be rated by other entities. The MPAA rating system is one of various motion picture rating systems that are used to help parents decide what films are appropriate for their children.
The MPAA's rating system is administered by the Classification & Ratings Administration (CARA), an independent agency.
Since the late 1990s, the MPAA film ratings have been as follows:
If a film has not been submitted for a rating or is an uncut version of a film that was submitted, the labels Not Rated (NR) or Unrated (UR) are often used. Uncut/extended versions of films that are labeled "Unrated" also contain warnings saying that the uncut version of the film contains content that differs from the theatrical release and may not be suitable for minors.
Neve Adrianne Campbell (/ˈnɛv ˈkæmbəl/; born October 3, 1973) is a Canadian actress. She appeared in the Canadian television series Catwalk, before she played Julia Salinger in the drama series Party of Five. She has also appeared in films, such as The Craft (1996). She is well known for her role as Sidney Prescott in the horror film series Scream. She also starred in the thriller Wild Things (1998) and later several films which had limited theatrical releases, such as Panic (2000) and The Company (2003). She made guest appearances on several television shows, such as Medium, Grey's Anatomy and Mad Men.

Her father, Gerry Campbell, immigrated to Canada from Glasgow, Scotland, and taught high school drama classes in Mississauga, Ontario (first at Westwood Secondary School, later at Lorne Park Secondary School, and at Erindale Secondary School). Campbell's maternal grandparents ran a theater company in the Netherlands, and her paternal grandparents were also performers. On her mother's side, Campbell descends from Sephardi Jews who immigrated to the Netherlands and converted to Catholicism. She has stated: "I am a practising Catholic, but my lineage is Jewish, so if someone asks me if I'm Jewish, I say yes".
A music video or song video is a short film integrating a song and imagery, produced for promotional or artistic purposes. Modern music videos are primarily made and used as a marketing device intended to promote the sale of music recordings. There are also cases where songs are used in tie in marketing campaigns that allow them to become more than just a song. Tie ins and merchandising could be used in toys are marketing campaigns for food and other products. Although the origins of music videos date back to musical short films that first appeared in the 1920s, they came into prominence in the 1980s when MTV based their format around the medium. Prior to the 1980s, these works were described by various terms including "illustrated song", "filmed insert", "promotional (promo) film", "promotional clip", "promotional video", "song video", "song clip" or "film clip". Since the creation and increased popularity of YouTube, mainstream artists now promote new music videos by releasing trailers of short promos on the site for their upcoming song and music video. Consequentially, YouTube has been converted into a social media platform for celebrities and artists to market themselves to their fans and audiences.

Top 10 PG-13 Movies That Should Have been Rated R Subscribe: http://goo.gl/Q2kKrD The movie rating system is flawed, and these films are all great examples. The Wolverine, The Expendables 3, Mortal Kombat, Sucker Punch, Insidious, Terminator Genisys and Hanna are all alike in that they were in need of a more mature rating, regardless of their performance at the Box Office. For this list, we’re looking at films that, when released theatrically, were either cut down in content to avoid an R rating or were tinkered with from the start to appeal to a broader audience. If you're new, Subscribe! → http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Looper Believe it or not, the PG-13 rating wasn't created until 1984, which meant that for decades, there was a pretty major gap between "family friendly" and "adults only"...and probably, a lot of shocked children. The movies on this list didn't quite make the R rating, even though there were plenty of reasons they probably should have. Here are some of the most inappropriate PG movies of all time...
