Minnesota (i/mɪnᵻˈsoʊtə/; locally [ˌmɪnəˈso̞ɾə]) is a state in the Midwestern United States. Minnesota was admitted as the 32nd state on May 11, 1858, created from the eastern half of the Minnesota Territory. The name comes from the Dakota word for "clear blue water". Owing to its large number of lakes, the state is informally known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes". Its official motto is L'Étoile du Nord (French: Star of the North). Minnesota is the 12th largest in area and the 21st most populous of the U.S. States; nearly 60 percent of its residents live in the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area (known as the "Twin Cities"), the center of transportation, business, industry, education, and government and home to an internationally known arts community. The remainder of the state consists of western prairies now given over to intensive agriculture; deciduous forests in the southeast, now partially cleared, farmed and settled; and the less populated North Woods, used for mining, forestry, and recreation.

Aaron Holmes Gwin is an American professional downhill mountain biker from Morongo Valley, California. He is a three-time World Cup overall champion.
Aaron Gwin started his cycling career off early racing BMX from age 4, by age 8 Gwin was racing all the nationals. At age 12 Gwin moved on to motocross and raced up until he was 17 when he quit due to constant injuries. In 2008 at age 20 Gwin was loaned a bike by fellow professional downhill racer and good friend Cody Warren and was encouraged to compete in a race. In his first race in the Fontana Winter Series he got 3rd and began racing from then on, quickly signing with Yeti Cycles. For breaking onto the international World Cup scene after about 8 months of riding downhill, he became wide-known.
Many saw Gwin as the savior for US downhilling on the international scene since his 10th-place finish at the Mont Sainte-Anne World Cup in 2008 was the first American top 10 finish since 2004. He has since won two United States National Championships for Downhill, in 2009 and in 2010. Both were held in SolVista, Colorado.
Sigur Rós (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈsɪːɣʏr ˈroːus] SIG-ər rohss) are an Icelandic post-rock band from Reykjavík, who have been active since 1994. Known for their ethereal sound, frontman Jónsi Birgisson's falsetto vocals, and the use of bowed guitar, the band's music is also noticeable for its incorporation of classical and minimalist aesthetic elements. The band is named after Jónsi's sister Sigurrós Elín.
Jón Þór "Jónsi" Birgisson (guitar and vocals), Georg Hólm (bass) and Ágúst Ævar Gunnarsson (drums) formed the group in Reykjavík in January 1994. The band's name is Icelandic wordplay: while the individual words Sigur and Rós mean, respectively, Victory and Rose, "Victory Rose" wouldn't be grammatically correct; the name is actually borrowed from Jónsi's younger sister Sigurrós, who was born a few days before the band was formed, and then split into two words. They soon won a record deal with the local Sugarcubes-owned record label Bad Taste, because they thought the falsetto vocals were very cute and would appeal to teenage girls. In 1997, they released Von (pronounced [vɔːn], meaning "hope") and in 1998 a remix collection named Von brigði ([vɔːn ˈprɪɣðɪ]). This name is also Icelandic wordplay: Vonbrigði means "disappointment", but Von brigði means "variations on Von". The band was joined by Kjartan Sveinsson on keyboards in 1998. He is the only member of Sigur Rós with musical training, and has contributed most of the orchestral and string arrangements for their later work.

Cameron Christopher proposed a project around Sigur Rós' Glosoli ( http://www.vimeo.com/forums/topic:3094 ). This was a real challenge for me to get the right video for the song. Just recently, Sigur Rós started a challenge for YouTubers ( http://www.hvarf-heim.com/contest/ ) to use extra clips from the group's documentary in their own video. There was some beautiful imagery, so I decided to pair the two media. I ran out of appropriate footage, so the song got trimmed (hope that's okay for the project!).

Everything's changing
Can't wait to see you when you die
Everything's changing
Can't wait to see you when you die
And with things changing
So much, so fast, so once, so while
And I'm still waiting to see you
When you die alone
And wait for nothing now
Sit alone and wait to die (to die)
Nothing changes...
So stop, so still, so cut and dry
I'm still waiting to say the truth that I can't wait to watch you die
I know you heard me say it now a million times
To say die alone and wait for nothing now
Wait! That's just not right!
To sit alone and wait for you to see that I have nothing left to say (to say)
To sit alone and wait for you to say (to say)
To sit alone and wait for you to say (to say)
To see that I have nothing left to say (to say)
