Da Il Decameron di Pier Paolo Pasolini la novella di Lisabetta da Messina ( Decameron IV giornata V novella) La novella di Lisabetta ha inizio con quello che è chiamato il trattamento oggettivo della scena ( objective treatment of a scene); allo spettatore viene presentato ciò che sta di fronte alla camera nella narrazione della storia. Lo spettatore non vede la scena attraverso il punto di vista di un personaggio; è l'equivalente del narratore esterno della narrazione scritta.
Pasolini dedica la lunga scena iniziale a uno degli incontri notturni di Lisabetta e Lorenzo, nella novella di Boccaccio non c'è traccia di questi incontri che sono appena accennati in un breve passaggio “e sì andò la bisogna che, piacendo l’uno all’altro igualmente, non passò gran tempo che, assicuratisi, fecero di quello che più disiderava ciascuno.” Nella lunga scena iniziale Pasolini prefigura la fine della novella e crea un racconto a struttura circolare. Subito dopo l'inquadratura della finestra Lisabetta bacia Lorenzo sdraiato a torso nudo sul letto, il giovane è immobile e appare come morto, l'ultima inquadratura è quella di Lisabetta con le braccia tese verso il vaso di basilico sulla finestra. Pasolini modifica il racconto di Boccaccio mostrando la reazione violenta di uno dei fratelli di Lisabetta. Il realismo di Pasolini è più crudo di quello di Boccaccio, non esclude, non nasconde nulla, neanche ciò che può disturbare, infastidire il lettore o spettatore.

The Decameron
The Decameron (From the Greek: δέκα - ten & μέρα - day) (Italian: Decameron [deˈkaːmeron; dekameˈrɔn; dekameˈron] or Decamerone [dekameˈroːne]), subtitled Prince Galehaut (Old Italian: Prencipe Galeotto [ˈprentʃipe ɡaleˈɔtto; ˈprɛntʃipe]), is a collection of novellas by the 14th-century Italian author Giovanni Boccaccio (1313–1375). The book is structured as a frame story containing 100 tales told by a group of seven young women and three young men sheltering in a secluded villa just outside Florence to escape the Black Death, which was afflicting the city. Boccaccio probably conceived the Decameron after the epidemic of 1348, and completed it by 1353. The various tales of love in The Decameron range from the erotic to the tragic. Tales of wit, practical jokes, and life lessons contribute to the mosaic. In addition to its literary value and widespread influence (for example on Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales), it provides a document of life at the time. Written in the vernacular of the Florentine language, it is considered a masterpiece of classical early Italian prose.

The Decameron (1971 film)
The Decameron (Italian: Il Decameron) is a 1971 film by Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini, based on the novel Il Decameron by Giovanni Boccaccio. It is the first movie of Pasolini's Trilogy of life, the others being The Canterbury Tales and Arabian Nights.
The tales contain abundant nudity, sex, slapstick and scatological humor. The film was entered into the 21st Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Silver Bear Extraordinary Jury Prize.
Plot
The film, shot in Neapolitan dialect at the behest of the director, offers a variety of episodes from the stories most characteristic of the work of Giovanni Boccaccio, and are linked through a pupil of the painter Giotto (played by Pasolini himself) who arrives in Naples to paint a mural.
In the first episode, Andreuccio of Perugia is cheated by a Neapolitan and dropped in a trough of excrement. The young man is found in the pulp by two thieves who are attempting a coup at a nearby church to steal the jewels from the tomb of a bishop who died a few days earlier. Andreuccio is persuaded and, with a brilliant ruse, manages to steal for himself the most beautiful ring of the deceased.

Pier Paolo Pasolini
Pier Paolo Pasolini (Italian: [ˈpjɛr ˈpaːolo pazoˈliːni]; 5 March 1922 – 2 November 1975) was an Italian film director, poet, writer and intellectual. Pasolini distinguished himself as a poet, journalist, philosopher, novelist, playwright, filmmaker, newspaper and magazine columnist, actor, painter and political figure. He had a unique and extraordinary cultural versatility, becoming a highly controversial figure in the process. While his work remains controversial to this day, in the years since his death Pasolini has come to be valued by many as a prophetic intellectual and a major figure in Italian literature and cinematic arts.
Biography
Early life
Pasolini was born in Bologna, traditionally one of the most leftist politically of Italian cities. He was the son of Carlo Alberto, a lieutenant of the Italian army, and Susanna Colussi, an elementary school teacher. His parents married in 1921, Pasolini was born in 1922 and named after his paternal uncle. His family moved to Conegliano in 1923 and, two years later, to Belluno, where another son, Guidalberto, was born. In 1926, Pasolini's father was arrested for gambling debts. His mother moved with the children to her family's house in Casarsa della Delizia, in the Friuli region. That same year, his father Carlo Alberto Pasolini, first detained and then identified Anteo Zamboni as the would-be assassin of Benito Mussolini following his assassination attempt. At any rate, Carlo Alberto was persuaded of the virtues of fascism.

Da Il Decameron di Pier Paolo Pasolini la novella di Lisabetta da Messina ( Decameron IV giornata V novella) La novella di Lisabetta ha inizio con quello che è chiamato il trattamento oggettivo della scena ( objective treatment of a scene); allo spettatore viene presentato ciò che sta di fronte alla camera nella narrazione della storia. Lo spettatore non vede la scena attraverso il punto di vista di un personaggio; è l'equivalente del narratore esterno della narrazione scritta.
Pasolini dedica la lunga scena iniziale a uno degli incontri notturni di Lisabetta e Lorenzo, nella novella di Boccaccio non c'è traccia di questi incontri che sono appena accennati in un breve passaggio “e sì andò la bisogna che, piacendo l’uno all’altro igualmente, non passò gran tempo che, assicuratisi, fecero di quello che più disiderava ciascuno.” Nella lunga scena iniziale Pasolini prefigura la fine della novella e crea un racconto a struttura circolare. Subito dopo l'inquadratura della finestra Lisabetta bacia Lorenzo sdraiato a torso nudo sul letto, il giovane è immobile e appare come morto, l'ultima inquadratura è quella di Lisabetta con le braccia tese verso il vaso di basilico sulla finestra. Pasolini modifica il racconto di Boccaccio mostrando la reazione violenta di uno dei fratelli di Lisabetta. Il realismo di Pasolini è più crudo di quello di Boccaccio, non esclude, non nasconde nulla, neanche ciò che può disturbare, infastidire il lettore o spettatore.
