"Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" is a short horror film, based on the story of Robert Louis Stevenson, featuring Florence La Badie, a star of Silent Hall of Fame.
The white-haired Dr. Jekyll is curious to experiment with a drug that can separate man into two beings - one representing good and the other evil. He drinks the concoction and converts into a black-haired beast of a man with talons and fangs. He is immediately horrified, takes the antidote and becomes his normal self again.
Curiosity is stronger, however, and he keeps making the conversion periodically. The evil alter ego becomes known as Mr. Hyde, but of course nobody suspects that he and the doctor are the same person. Mr. Hyde does all kinds of bad things with impunity until one day he attacks his girlfriend, played by Florence La Badie.
The evil half of the doctor is thus exposed and he is unable to resume his "normal" personality as all the antidote is gone. In the end Dr. Jekyll gets more than he bargained for with his ill-fated experiment.

James Cruze
James Cruze (March 27, 1884 near Ogden, Utah – August 3, 1942 in Hollywood, California) was a silent film actor and film director.
Life
Cruze was born Jens Vera Cruz Bosen. The Vera Cruz middle name came from the battle of Vera Cruz. He was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but did not practice the religion after his teenage years. Very little is certain about his childhood and teen years because he told a different story at every interview he granted.
Cruze acted, directed and or produced in over 100 films mainly during the silent film era. His first known acting job was at Lubin Manufacturing Company in 1910. He started at Thanhouser Company in 1912 which is where the majority of his body of work was produced, much of it as the leading man. He married the actress Marguerite Snow in 1913 and had a daughter by her in 1914. They divorced in 1922.
After leaving Thanhouser in 1916, he worked for several other companies as director and producer, primarily for Paramount Pictures, from 1918 to 1938. He married the actress Betty Compson in 1924 and they divorced in 1930. He married Alberta McCoy on 30 June 1941. McCoy survived him, and died in Hollywood on 7 July 1960.

Florence La Badie
Florence La Badie /ˌlɑːbɑːˈdiː/ (April 27, 1888 – October 13, 1917) was an American actress in the early days of the silent film era. Though little known today, she was a major star between 1911 and 1917. Her career was at its height when she died at age 29 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Early life
While her film career is well documented, her early life is somewhat clouded in mystery, including who her real parents were and what her birth name was. She was the adopted daughter of the La Badie family. Joseph E. La Badie, was believed to have been born in Montreal, Quebec, and is said to have been a prominent attorney there at one time. His wife, the former Amanda Victor, is said to have been born in Europe, possibly Paris. Her adoptive uncle, Oddiehon LaBadie, maintained an estate in nearby St. Lambert. Other sources have claimed that she was born in Austin, Texas and adopted by the La Badie family. One source states plainly that she was born in Montreal, another that she was born Florence Russ in Manhattan on April 27, 1888. Florence was educated in New York City schools and at the Convent of Notre Dame in Montreal.

Dr. Henry Jekyll and his alternative personality, Mr Edward Hyde, is a fictional character in Robert Louis Stevenson's 1886 novella Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
Fictional character biography
Dr. Henry Jekyll is a "large, well-made, smooth-faced man of fifty with something of a slyish cast", who occasionally feels he is battling between the good and evil within himself, thus leading to the struggle between his dual personalities of Jekyll and Edward Hyde. He has spent a great part of his life trying to repress evil urges that were not fitting for a man of his stature. He creates a serum, or potion, in an attempt to mask this hidden evil within his personality. However, in doing so, Jekyll transforms into Mr. Hyde, a hideous, evil creature without compassion or remorse. Jekyll has many friends and has a friendly personality, but as Hyde, he becomes mysterious and violent. As time goes by, Hyde grows in power. After taking the potion repetitively, he no longer relies upon it to unleash his inner demon i.e., his alter ego. Eventually, Hyde grows to be stronger than Jekyll.

"Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" is a short horror film, based on the story of Robert Louis Stevenson, featuring Florence La Badie, a star of Silent Hall of Fame.
The white-haired Dr. Jekyll is curious to experiment with a drug that can separate man into two beings - one representing good and the other evil. He drinks the concoction and converts into a black-haired beast of a man with talons and fangs. He is immediately horrified, takes the antidote and becomes his normal self again.
Curiosity is stronger, however, and he keeps making the conversion periodically. The evil alter ego becomes known as Mr. Hyde, but of course nobody suspects that he and the doctor are the same person. Mr. Hyde does all kinds of bad things with impunity until one day he attacks his girlfriend, played by Florence La Badie.
The evil half of the doctor is thus exposed and he is unable to resume his "normal" personality as all the antidote is gone. In the end Dr. Jekyll gets more than he bargained for with his ill-fated experiment.

Yates was fired by Trump after refusing to implement the ban, which was eventually ruled to be unconstitutional by a Federal Circuit Court.
The Texas senator, in his allotted time for questioning at Monday’s Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing about Russian interference in the 2016 election, pressed Yates on the ban. He asked if she was familiar with 8 U.S.C. 1182. Yates said she wasn’t.
“Well, it is the binding statutory authority for the executive order that you refused to implement and that led to your termination,” Cruz said. “So it certainly is a relevant and not a terribly obscure statute.”

"Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" is a short horror film, based on the story of Robert Louis Stevenson, featuring Florence La Badie, a star of Silent Hall of Fame.
The white-haired Dr. Jekyll is curious to experiment with a drug that can separate man into two beings - one representing good and the other evil. He drinks the concoction and converts into a black-haired beast of a man with talons and fangs. He is immediately horrified, takes the antidote and becomes his normal self again.
Curiosity is stronger, however, and he keeps making the conversion periodically. The evil alter ego becomes known as Mr. Hyde, but of course nobody suspects that he and the doctor are the same person. Mr. Hyde does all kinds of bad things with impunity until one day he attacks his girlfriend, played by Florence La Badie.
The evil half of the doctor is thus exposed and he is unable to resume his "normal" personality as all the antidote is gone. In the end Dr. Jekyll gets more than he bargained for with his ill-fated experiment.
