Return of the Jedi (also known as Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi) is a 1983 American epic space opera film directed by Richard Marquand. The screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and George Lucas was from a story by Lucas, who was also the executive producer. It was the third film released in the Star Wars saga and the first film to use THX technology. The film is set one year after The Empire Strikes Back and was produced by Howard Kazanjian for Lucasfilm Ltd. The film stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams, Anthony Daniels, David Prowse, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew and Frank Oz.
The Galactic Empire, under the direction of the ruthless Emperor, is constructing a second Death Star in order to crush the Rebel Alliance once and for all. Since the Emperor plans to personally oversee the final stages of its construction, the Rebel Fleet launches a full-scale attack on the Death Star in order to prevent its completion and kill the Emperor, effectively bringing an end to the Empire's hold over the galaxy. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker, a Jedi apprentice, struggles to bring Darth Vader, whom he finds out is actually his father Anakin Skywalker and a fallen Jedi, back from the Dark Side of the Force.
Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise, centered on a film series created by George Lucas. It depicts the adventures of various characters "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away".
The first film in the series, Star Wars (later subtitled Episode IV: A New Hope), was released on May 25, 1977 by 20th Century Fox and became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon. It was followed by the similarly successful sequels The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983); these three films constitute the original Star Wars trilogy. A prequel trilogy was later released between 1999 and 2005, which received a more mixed reaction from critics and fans, compared to the original trilogy. All seven films were nominated for or won Academy Awards, and were commercial successes, with a combined box office revenue of $4.38 billion, making Star Wars the fourth highest-grossing film series. The series has spawned an extensive media franchise—the Star Wars expanded universe—including books, television series, computer and video games, and comic books, resulting in significant development of the series's fictional universe. Star Wars also holds a Guinness World Records title for the "Most successful film merchandising franchise." In 2012, the total value of the Star Wars franchise was estimated at USD $30.7 billion, including box-office receipts as well as profits from their video games and DVD sales.
Return may refer to:
The Jedi /ˈdʒɛˌdaɪ/ are the main protagonists in the fictional Star Wars universe. They are an ancient monastic, spiritual, and academic meritocratic organization whose origins dates back to circa 25,000 BBY (Before Battle of Yavin; the destruction of the first Death Star). The Jedi Order mostly consists of polymaths: teachers, philosophers, scientists, physicians, diplomats and warriors, who value knowledge and wisdom above nationality. By serving others, the Jedi give of themselves through acts of charity, citizenship, volunteerism, and good deeds. Their traditional weapon is the lightsaber, a device which generates a blade-like controlled plasma flow. The organization has inspired a new religious movement, Jediism.
As depicted in the canon, the Jedi study, serve and utilize a mystical power called the Force, in order to help and protect those in need. The Jedi members, known as Jedi Knights, respect all life by defending and protecting those who cannot do it for themselves, striving for peaceful and non-combative solutions to any altercations they encounter and fighting only in self-defense and for the defense of those they protect. Like their counterparts, the Sith, their main weapon is the lightsaber. By training the mind and the body the Jedi seek to improve themselves by gaining unfettered access to the Force while also seeking to improve those individuals and groups they come in contact with.
The epic space battle above the moon of Endor. The Rebel Alliance gathers up its entire fleet of cruisers and fighters led by Lando Calrissian in the Millennium Falcon and overseen by Admiral Ackbar in the Mon Calamari Cruiser Home One to destroy the second Death Star. Unfortunately by the time they get to the "incomplete/nonoperational" Death Star the shield generator hasn't been disabled by the Rebel ground troops on Endor led by Han Solo. The fleet then encounters a fleet of star destroyers and countless TIE fighters. They soon find out the Death Star is operational as it fires its main laser and destroys the Mon Calamari Cruiser Liberty and an Unidentified MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser. Once the shield is down Lando and Wedge Antilles fly inside the Death Star and destroy the core. D...

Just because the 2nd movie ended with Luke doing exactly what Yoda and Obi Wan told him would mean he could never become a jedi, that's no reason for him to not become a jedi. Thus, it's the return of the jedi! Later, as even though he's calling himself a jedi early on they still say he isn't one yet. It's a bit confusing... A little late but here's my new Bandai Boba Fett model kit! This model kit is probably the most complex that I have made just because of the paint job alone, not counting all the customs and sculpts that I added to it. I love how it has turned out, being able to have a ROTJ version of Boba is pretty cool. In this model, I did custom sculpts for the gauntlet, Gun barrel, and a missing piece for the rocket. I also modified the pouches and bags on the belt to make them more accurate and efficient. In the build, I used an assortment of different techniques and paints to make the paint job for this model. As for the shoulder cape, I cut out a rectangle of cloth, dirtied it up with paint, then made it wet and folded it so it didn't bunch up. Sorry I wasn't able to commentate the details as much ...

Piracy is piracy,
If you sail the seven seas or surf the net,
Record firms, they're making losses,
But they still spend it like they're making it,
It's fifty grand to make a fucking video,
And Sardy albums cost a fifth per track,
And so your favourite band,
They don't make that second album,
Dropped by their label 'cause they can't pay it back,
It killed them,
It killed them,
It killed them,
It killed them,
Well I got some news for you then my brother,
This is a buisness like any other,
You got your product, make money off it,
You count your losses against your profits,
And if you're thinking So? So?,
You don't know,
Underground, that's where we come from,
We don't wear no suits and we are not called The,
But chart success, that brings security,
You watch these brothers thinking Why not me?,
So show me where to sign,
And I'll write my name down in my own red blood,
Because there comes a time when you think a house might
be nice,
And selling out don't mean a fuck, you see,
It kills me,
It kills me,
It kills me,
It kills me,
I can't stand..., (Stand... it...)
I can't stand..., (Stand... it...)
I can't stand..., (Stand... it...)
I can't stand... it..., (Stand... it...)
Well how's about you come down and I'll explain?,
Get yourself to London on the train,
Then I'll just send you home again,
Well how's about you come down and I'll explain?,
Get yourself to London on the train,
Then I'll just send you home again,
Well how's about you come down and I'll explain?,
Get yourself to London on the train,
Then I'll just send you home again,
Well how's about you come down and I'll explain?,
Lean a little bit closer, I'll make it plain,
You don't stand a fucking chance,
I'd like a job in which I'm able,
To put shoes on my feet, and food on my table,
Those nine-to-fivers, they look pretty stable,
But I get my wages from my record label,
And if you're thinking So? So? So?,
And if you're thinking So? So?,
You don't know enough about it,
Because this death is slow, (Because this death is
slow)
Slow, slow, (Because this death is slow)
(Because this death is slow),
This thing will work itself out,
This thing will work itself out,
This thing will work itself out,
This thing will work it out,
Out, out, out,
'Guitarist and Songwriter',
That's what I thought I was,
I never had no dreams of being a waiter,
But these here Helmet rip-offs,
They don't buy my lunch,
So I will get a real job in the office,
And I won't bother to make my music,
And I won't bother to sing my songs,
And I won't bother to get excited,
And I won't bother to get her off,
And I won't bother to make my music,
And I won't bother to sing my songs,
And I won't...,
And I won't...,
Sure... sure,
Sure... sure,
Sure... sure, (Sure... sure)
Sure..., (Sure...)
And I won't bother to make my music,
And I won't bother to sing my songs,
Sure... yeah sure,
