Vlog style run through a day’s racing at Round 3 of this years MMRC Drone racing.
I’ve captured all the races Thomas did in this round and hopefully it will allow you to experience what a days racing is actually like. Keep in mind I’m also racing and spotting so it really limits what I can capture.
So at the MMRC Meets we have four divisions, C, B, A and Superclass, in this video I capture all of Thomas’ Superclass races along with one of Nicole’s (HarleyQueenFPV our only female pilot) races. It’s kind of interesting as you get to experience what it’s like for both someone starting out who’s relatively new to the hobby, through to some of the faster pilots who’ve been racing for a while now.
It’s been an interesting year for Thomas as he’s started his final year of High School and as such the workload has been a lot higher than he was expecting it to be. As a result of the workload, he hasn’t been flying much at all. In fact in the lead up to this race, he hadn’t flown all week. It’s kept him very much on edge because he wants to do well but doesn’t feel like he’s getting the stick time he needs.
Having said that he did well at this race meet and managed to get through to the final and have a great day with great people.
At the end of the video, I've included the complete results for the day. Just pause the video to see the final results. HarleyQueen FPV was in C division, I was in A Division as BMSweb and Thomas was in Superclass as BMSThomas

Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium
The mission of the Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium (MMRC) is to champion collaboration with and integration across academia and industry and to focus on speed and innovation to bring the most promising multiple myeloma treatments to patients faster. It was founded by Kathy Giusti, a myeloma patient and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF).
MMRC Model
The MMRC comprises 14 Member Institutions nationwide that form its clinical trials network. It is led by an Executive Committee in Norwalk, Connecticut, and a Steering Committee and Progress Review Committee composed of researchers from MMRC Member Institutions. The MMRC also includes a shared Tissue Bank of annotated tissue and peripheral blood samples from multiple myeloma patients.

Dr. Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande (born on October 7, 1960) is a Hindustani classical music vocalist from Mumbai. She pursues the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana, although also influenced by Mewati Gharana and Patiala Gharana. She is known for her rendering of 'Kabir Bhajans'
Early life and training
Born in Mumbai into a family with strong musical traditions, Dr. Bhide-Deshpande started her early classical training under the guidance of Narayanrao Datar. She then completed her Sangeet Visharad from the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. Since then, Dr. Bhide-Deshpande has been under the tutelage of her mother Smt. Manik Bhide, who has been instilling in her the intricacies and traditions of the Jaipur-Atrauli Gharana. Dr. Bhide-Deshpande also received guidance from , Pt. Ratnakar Pai until his death in 2009.
Education
Dr. Bhide-Deshpande holds a Masters degree in Microbiology and earned a doctorate in Biochemistry from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Sangeet-Visharad and Masters degree in Music.

Background
The song was produced and written by Patrick Cowley in the Hi-NRG style. It was the lead single from Parker's debut album Too Much To Dream. "Right on Target" was his first and most successful dance chart entry. The track hit number one for two weeks. It was the first of two singles to make it to the top spot.

In the second race he was allowed a restart since this was just testing of the system and race venue. Mumbai - In the continuing struggle between sustainable development and infrastructural progress in the metropolis, the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation has fired the latest salvo. At a press conference in the city on Thursday, MMRC executive director Ashwini Bhide categorically said that the Metro 3 project could not be initiated if the proposed number of trees are not felled to make way for it. The Mumbai high court has already brought in a stay on the felling of the 5000 odd trees that is mandated by the MMRC for the implementation of the Metro 3 project. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis too has sounded a placatory note by asking the MMRC to adhere to environmental norms before implementing the project. -

Our local race club has starting holding regular race meets since the beginning of 2016 and decided to introduce a test Acro Division. Only had the four competitors and realistically the track wasn’t set up or ideal for Acro, but it was a good opportunity to test out the format and see how the process could work. The idea was to work out judging, format etc. In any case this is Thomas run before lunch using a Nanotech Pack, because we were saving the better packs for the racing :D It's also worth mentioning it was insanely windy and hence the Over Under Gate was on it's side because it kept getting blown down. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this flight. IMPORTANT INFO - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Ok its critical you read this information - I've had at least 4 messages now saying there is discussion that this video has been sped up!! OMG!! I won't lie to our subscribers, the answer is YES it has. Before the flight starts the video is sped up 4X and I think 8X at the end. Is the flight sped up?? NO! Why did I speed up the beginning and the End? Because the clouds moving along quickly looks really pretty in my opinion. So will I be speeding up the beginning and ends of my videos in the future? In the second race he was allowed a restart since this was just testing of the system and race venue. No Metro 3 if trees can't be felled- MMRC | Mumbai Live
Mumbai - In the continuing struggle between sustainable development and infrastructural progress in the metropolis, the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation has fired the latest salvo. At a press conference in the city on Thursday, MMRC executive director Ashwini Bhide categorically said that the Metro 3 project could not be initiated if the proposed number of trees are not felled to make way for it. The Mumbai high court has already brought in a stay on the felling of the 5000 odd trees that is mandated by the MMRC for the implementation of the Metro 3 project. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis too has sounded a placatory note by asking the MMRC to adhere to environmental norms before implementing the project.

MMRC FPV Acro Test Division - ImpulseRC 6" Alien
Our local race club has starting holding regular race meets since the beginning of 2016 and decided to introduce a test Acro Division. Only had the four competitors and realistically the track wasn’t set up or ideal for Acro, but it was a good opportunity to test out the format and see how the process could work. The idea was to work out judging, format etc. In any case this is Thomas run before lunch using a Nanotech Pack, because we were saving the better packs for the racing :D It's also worth mentioning it was insanely windy and hence the Over Under Gate was on it's side because it kept getting blown down. Vlog style run through a day’s racing at Round 3 of this years MMRC Drone racing.
I’ve captured all the races Thomas did in this round and hopefully it will allow you to experience what a days racing is actually like. Keep in mind I’m also racing and spotting so it really limits what I can capture.
So at the MMRC Meets we have four divisions, C, B, A and Superclass, in this video I capture all of Thomas’ Superclass races along with one of Nicole’s (HarleyQueenFPV our only female pilot) races. It’s kind of interesting as you get to experience what it’s like for both someone starting out who’s relatively new to the hobby, through to some of the faster pilots who’ve been racing for a while now.
It’s been an interesting year for Thomas as he’s started his final year of High School and as such the workload has been a lot higher than he was expecting it to be. As a result of the workload, he hasn’t been flying much at all. In fact in the lead up to this race, he hadn’t flown all week. It’s kept him very much on edge because he wants to do well but doesn’t feel like he’s getting the stick time he needs.
Having said that he did well at this race meet and managed to get through to the final and have a great day with great people.
At the end of the video, I've included the complete results for the day. Just pause the video to see the final results. HarleyQueen FPV was in C division, I was in A Division as BMSweb and Thomas was in Superclass as BMSThomas

Full Spec Race, Heat 1 and the Final - Combination of Ground and GoPro Footage from Thomas’ 3S Minion220.
In the second race he was allowed a restart since this was just testing of the system and race venue. It was the first race he stared from behind and as such had to finally push himself as reflected by the times and the fact that he went faster on his 3S machine lol

Mumbai - In the continuing struggle between sustainable development and infrastructural progress in the metropolis, the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation has fired the latest salvo. At a press conference in the city on Thursday, MMRC executive director Ashwini Bhide categorically said that the Metro 3 project could not be initiated if the proposed number of trees are not felled to make way for it. The Mumbai high court has already brought in a stay on the felling of the 5000 odd trees that is mandated by the MMRC for the implementation of the Metro 3 project. Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis too has sounded a placatory note by asking the MMRC to adhere to environmental norms before implementing the project.

Our local race club has starting holding regular race meets since the beginning of 2016 and decided to introduce a test Acro Division. Only had the four competitors and realistically the track wasn’t set up or ideal for Acro, but it was a good opportunity to test out the format and see how the process could work.
The idea was to work out judging, format etc. In any case this is Thomas run before lunch using a Nanotech Pack, because we were saving the better packs for the racing :D
It's also worth mentioning it was insanely windy and hence the Over Under Gate was on it's side because it kept getting blown down.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed this flight.

Ok its critical you read this information - I've had at least 4 messages now saying there is discussion that this video has been sped up!! OMG!! I won't lie to our subscribers, the answer is YES it has. Before the flight starts the video is sped up 4X and I think 8X at the end. Is the flight sped up?? NO! Why did I speed up the beginning and the End? Because the clouds moving along quickly looks really pretty in my opinion. So will I be speeding up the beginning and ends of my videos in the future? Yes I will. Will I speed up actual flights? No I won't.
So there you have it lol
