Bîc River
Bâc (also spelled Bîc) is a river in Moldova, a right tributary of Dniester.
The upper flow of Bâc cuts a deep canyon in Codri Hills. The capital of Moldova, Chișinău, is situated near Bâc. A dam near Chișinău holds the Chișinău Sea reservoir, which has an area of about 10 km². During the summer season, Bâc often dries out and turns into a chain of lakes. The river is heavily polluted, so swimming in it is not advisable.

Over the past two days, Elon Musk has attacked Labour Prime Ministers Gordon Brown and Keir Starmer in a series of posts on X over what he claims is their “complicity” in “mass rapes” of young girls.
The posts referred to historical sexual abuse cases of children, mostly young girls, across England and Wales between 1997 to 2013.
A 2014 inquiry later estimated that at least 1,400 children were exploited, predominantly by men of Pakistani heritage.
Critiquing Musk indirectly on Monday, Prime Minister Starmer hit back at those “spreading lies and misinformation as far and wide as possible”.
“[They’re] not interested in victims, they’re interested in themselves,” Mr Starmer said.

Elon Musk’s father Errol has advised people to not listen to his son, after the American billionaire made a series of inflammatory social media posts regarding historical child sexual abuse cases in Britain.

The billioanire's followers on the platform could respond with a simple "yes," or "no." Up to 71.7% of thousands who responded voted for "yes." Just 28.3% of respondents replied no.
He also posted: “Prison for Starmer”, responding to a post that “Elsie, Bebe and Alice were killed by a Muslim with a knife in England but for Keir Starmer the problem is Islamophobia”, referencing the killing of three children in the 2024 terror Southport attack over the summer.
Elon Musk also shared an image of Sir Keir with the words "Liar" written over. Last week he called Labour's safeguarding minister Jess Phillips a "rape genocide apologist", and said she should be jailed over Labour's blockage of a grooming gangs inquiry into Keir Starmer’s conduct as the CPS head.
Elon Musk has also posted that Nigel Farage 'doesn't have what it takes to be Reform leader', and that he should be replaced.

Liz Truss tweeted on New Year's Day: "This is Jess Phillips, the same Home Office Minister who excused masked Islamist thugs.
"Her title 'Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls' is a perversion of the English language. It's clear whose side she is on".
Elon Musk's reply to this, of, "She deserves to be in prison", began his series of online posts this year in which he took aim at her and Keir Starmer, after Labour blocked a grooming gangs probe into the PM's time as the CPS head.
James O'Brien said: "Liz Truss not only fails to condemn the attacks on Jess Phillips, but actually commits them."
He added that he 'would welcome' Liz Truss and jess Phillips to come on his programme and compare records on what they have done to safeguard women and girls.
"I am supremely confident...that it would look like the time David Davis turned up in the EU negotiations to talk about Brexit, when the other side had filing cabinets of detail and he had a smile", he said.
"This I think might be the worst thing I've seen from a British politician in all the years that I've been doing this job, including Boris Johnson", he went on.
"I can't believe my eyes...a former British PM actively encouraging attacks on a serving British politician for declining a request for an inquiry that was declined by the Tories in 2022".

Elon Musk’s father Errol has advised people to not listen to his son, after the American billionaire made a series of inflammatory social media posts regarding historical child sexual abuse cases in Britain.
Speaking to LBC’s Tom Swarbrick, Errol Musk told people who didn't like what his son was saying to "tell him to get lost".
"Just because he's a person that stands out more ... just don't listen to him then," the elder Musk added.
Over the past two days, Elon Musk has attacked Labour Prime Ministers Gordon Brown and Keir Starmer in a series of posts on X over what he claims is their “complicity” in “mass rapes” of young girls.
The posts referred to historical sexual abuse cases of children, mostly young girls, across England and Wales between 1997 to 2013.
A 2014 inquiry later estimated that at least 1,400 children were exploited, predominantly by men of Pakistani heritage.
Critiquing Musk indirectly on Monday, Prime Minister Starmer hit back at those “spreading lies and misinformation as far and wide as possible”.
“[They’re] not interested in victims, they’re interested in themselves,” Mr Starmer said.

James O'Brien analysed the latest row involving Elon Musk and Keir Starmer, saying: "It’s almost as if the truth doesn’t matter, because the intoxicating unpleasantness that Twitter is made of has now entirely taken over and become so powerful."
In the latest of a string of tweets taking aim at the PM, Elon Musk wrote: "America should liberate the people of Britain from their tyrannical government."
The billioanire's followers on the platform could respond with a simple "yes," or "no." Up to 71.7% of thousands who responded voted for "yes." Just 28.3% of respondents replied no.
He also posted: “Prison for Starmer”, responding to a post that “Elsie, Bebe and Alice were killed by a Muslim with a knife in England but for Keir Starmer the problem is Islamophobia”, referencing the killing of three children in the 2024 terror Southport attack over the summer.
Elon Musk also shared an image of Sir Keir with the words "Liar" written over. Last week he called Labour's safeguarding minister Jess Phillips a "rape genocide apologist", and said she should be jailed over Labour's blockage of a grooming gangs inquiry into Keir Starmer’s conduct as the CPS head.
Elon Musk has also posted that Nigel Farage 'doesn't have what it takes to be Reform leader', and that he should be replaced.

The billionaire owner of Twitter suggested that Ms Phillips "deserves to be in prison" for denying requests for the Home Office to lead a public inquiry into child sexual exploitation in Oldham.
Ms Phillips stated in a letter to the local council that Oldham must follow the example of other towns, such as Rotherham and Telford, and commission its own inquiry into historical abuse of children.
