A software developer is a person concerned with facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, and testing of computer software. Some notable software developers include Peter Norton (developer of Norton Utilities), Richard Garriott (Ultima-series creator), and Philippe Kahn (Borland key founder), all of whom started as entrepreneurial individuals or small-team software developers.
Other names which are often used in the same close context are programmer, software analyst, and software engineer. According to developer Eric Sink, the differences between system design, software development and programming are more apparent. Already in the current market place there can be found a segregation between programmers and developers, being that one who implements is not the same as the one who designs the class structure or hierarchy. Even more so that developers become systems architects, those who design the multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large software system. (see also Debate over who is a software engineer)
YouTube is a video-sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California, United States. The service was created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005. In November 2006, it was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion. YouTube now operates as one of Google's subsidiaries. The site allows users to upload, view, rate, share and comment on videos, and it makes use of WebM, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, and Adobe Flash Video technology to display a wide variety of user-generated and corporate media video. Available content includes video clips, TV clips, music videos, movie trailers and other content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos.
Most of the content on YouTube has been uploaded by individuals, but media corporations including CBS, the BBC, Vevo, Hulu, and other organizations offer some of their material via YouTube, as part of the YouTube partnership program. Unregistered users can watch videos, and registered users can upload videos to their channels. Videos considered to contain potentially offensive content are available only to registered users affirming themselves to be at least 18 years old.
Silicon Valley is a nickname for the southern portion of the San Francisco Bay Area, which is located in part of the U.S. state of California known as Northern California. It is home to many of the world's largest high-tech corporations, as well as thousands of startup companies. Geographically, it encompasses all of the Santa Clara Valley, the southern half of the San Francisco Peninsula, and southern portions of the East Bay. It includes parts or most of Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, and Alameda County.
The word "valley" refers to the Santa Clara Valley, where the region has traditionally been centered, which includes the city of San Jose and surrounding cities and towns. The word "silicon" originally referred to the large number of silicon chip innovators and manufacturers in the region. The term "Silicon Valley" eventually came to refer to all high tech businesses in the area, and is now generally used as a synecdoche for the American high-technology economic sector. It also became a global synonym for leading high-tech research and enterprises, and thus inspired similar named locations, as well as research parks and technology centers with a comparable structure all around the world.
A healthcare center, health center, or community health center is one of a network of clinics staffed by a group of general practitioners and nurses providing healthcare services to people in a certain area. Typical services covered are family practice and dental care, but some clinics have expanded greatly and can include internal medicine, pediatric, women’s care, family planning, pharmacy, optometry, lab, and more. In countries with universal healthcare, most people use the healthcare centers. In countries without universal healthcare, the clients include the uninsured, underinsured, low-income or those living in areas where little access to primary health care is available.
Community Health Centers (CHCs) have existed in Ontario for more than 40 years. Most CHC's consist of an interdisciplinary team of health care providers using electronic health records.
In Quebec, local community services centres known by their French acronym, CLSC, offer routine health and social services, including consultations with general practitioners with and without an appointment.

Q: What are the Best Credentials for Remote Coders? http://www.cco.us/medical-coding-practicum-course-practicode-yt A: It depends what they’re looking for. Aviacode, Coding Network; if you go to their websites and see what specialties they’re looking for, like, I think Aviacode right now is looking for cardiology coders so then I would focus on getting proficient at cardiology coding and you can do that. If you do our Medical Coding Practicum with Practicode and you get to pick which module will you work on and if you pick the cardiology module and you get proficient at it – and proficiency is speed and accuracy and the system tracks it for you. Computer software, apps and websites are all made using coding languages or code for short. But despite the importance of coding, there is a major global shortage of people with the right skills. One group in South Africa is working to change that and hopes to create better opportunities for former prisoners. Contrary to popular belief, women don’t need to be coders or programmers, to get a great job in the tech industry, says guest expert, Allison Esposito. The tech industry is full of sales, marketing, and engineering positions that need to be filled. Even if a woman has never worked in the tech industry, she has transferable skills that apply to tech jobs. Breaking into the tech field can be difficult because big tech companies have so many competitive applicants. It can be hard for a person to stand out, especially if they don’t have any experience in the tech field. Allison suggests women apply to smaller startups, to gain experience and to build their resumes. The gender gap in the tech world is quite large. It can be seen in small startups, all the way up to big companies. B...

Which Credential Is The Best After CPC? | Medical Coding Advice http://www.cco.us/medical-coding-certification-review-videos-yt A: Let’s go through a thought process of what you want to talk to yourself about if you want to get a credential after the CPC. The first thing that I like to tell people is to remind them the CPC is a core credential. The AAPC has core credentials and specialty credentials. There’s more than one core credential, but actually the CPC is probably the gold standard, the most widely recognized of all the credentials that the AAPC has. You’ll find people that are CPCs doing all types of coding work –outpatient, inpatient, and specialties because it’s a core credential. So, it’s a great place to start if you’re not sure where to start, we usually advise that you star...

Whether you are fresh out of school, or after years in the trenches, this applies to almost all of us. Often the competition can be fierce, you can simply drown in the torrent of applications some positions get. What I’m going to try to summarise here, is how to improve one’s chances of getting that first interview. Now, I’m not an expert in the area, but I have some personal experience actually getting the interviews. I am also basing this article on a couple of interviews my associate, Trevor Page, did for his podcast. These interviews complement each other well, as they are from both the busin...
