Barbara Norris, a 72-year-old Alzheimer's sufferer who had been missing for more than a day, has been found and is safe and well, police have confirmed.
Earlier on Wednesday her husband, Les made a desperate plea for the public to help find her.
Mrs Norris was last seen on Smith Street in Fitzroy about 2pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Mr Norris who was with his wife when she was last seen, called radio station 3AW on Wednesday morning to ask for public help in finding her.
