Jonita Gandhi

Jonita Gandhi is an Indo-Canadian singer. Her songs received appreciations in 2011, and were attracted to music composers of Bollywood. She sings primarily in in Hindi and English, but also in Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, German, Italian and French. Bollywood legend actor Amitabh Bachchan praised her as; "I agree with you entirely. Amazing lyrical quality."

Personal life

Gandhi was born in New Delhi, India, but her parents moved to Canada and she grew up in Toronto. Her journey as a singer began as a young child singing and dancing around the house. Her father, a musician by hobby and an electronics engineer by profession, recognized her potential and encouraged her to sing. She first performed in 1996 at a gig at her father's show in Toronto on a Christmas event and the years to follow became prosperous for her. She completed her degrees in health science and business. She also received an internship at CIBC World Markets during her undergrad but the first passion for Gandhi was always singing, so music continued to run in background throughout her education. Gandhi has formal training in Western classical music and during her stay in India has taken up training in Hindustani classical singing. She speaks fluent Hindi and Punjabi languages.

Hirdesh Singh (born 15 March 1983), better known by his stage name Yo Yo Honey Singh or Honey Singh is an Indian people rapper, music producer, singer and film actor. He started as a session and recording artist, and became a Bhangra music producer. He has also begun to produce music for Bollywood films, and gone on to become one of the highest-paid music producers in Bollywood.

Early life

Singh was born on 15 March 1983 at Hoshiarpur, Punjab to a Sikh family. His birth name is Hirdesh Singh. He studied music at the Trinity School in the United Kingdom. Later on, his family moved to Delhi.

Personal life

Singh is married to Shalini Talwar Singh, whom he introduced to audience for first time on India's Raw Star TV show.

Promotion

Singh and Diljit Dosanjh's song Lak 28 Kudi Da reached No 1 in BBC Asian Download Charts in May 2011. The song was released a promotional track for Diljit Dosanjh's film Lion of Punjab.

Gabbar Is Back

Gabbar Is Back is a 2015 Indian vigilante-action-drama film directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Featuring Akshay Kumar and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, the film is a remake of the 2002 Tamil film Ramanaa, directed by A. R. Murugadoss, which was later remade in Telugu as Tagore in 2003 and in Kannada as Vishnu Sena in 2005. Suman Talwar, Jaideep Ahlawat and Sunil Grover appear in supporting roles with Kareena Kapoor Khan in a cameo. Akshay Kumar's acting was critically praised.

Plot

The police get information that 10 tehsildars across Maharashtra have been mysteriously kidnapped. But they are as mysteriously returned - except the most corrupt officer, who is hanged in public. The police get a CD from mystery man 'Gabbar' who says his mission is to target corrupt officers. Police driver Sadhuram (Sunil Grover) is convinced he can crack who Gabbar is - but his superior officers insulted him in front of all the other officers.

Plot

Yo Yo is the son of a 1920s billionaire who, although having everything he fancies and living in a cavernous old castle, is not happy, fancying the simple life of a beautiful circus actress. When the stock-exchange crashes, rendering him both poor and free. Thus, he joins the circus where his love interest is performing, and fall madly in love. They have a son who starts in the circus as a clown, but later becomes a successful actor star and uses his new wealth to buy back his father's castle.
