Man chases female jogger while 'committing indecent act' in Swanbourne

A 23-year-old woman has been left shaken after a man committed an indecent act and chased her while she was jogging in Swanbourne on Saturday afternoon.

The woman had been jogging near Alfred Road bushland at around 3pm when she was approached by a man.

Police say the man ran towards the woman whilst committing an indecent act, and forced the woman to flee back onto the footpath.

The man disappeared into the bushland, and the jogger reported the incident to Wembley Police.

The man is described as being 40 to 50-years-old with dark skin, dark eyes, a dark beard, a stocky build and around 175cm tall.

Police believe he was wearing a red turban, green jumper and dark pants.

The incident comes just days after a man punched a woman in the face when she was jogging on a bush track in Joondalup on Sunday.

Anyone with information regarding the Swanbourne incident has been asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 18000 333 000 or make a report online.
