Film school
A film school is any educational institution dedicated to teaching aspects of filmmaking, including such subjects as film production, film theory, digital media production, and screenwriting. Film history courses and hands-on technical training are usually incorporated into most film school curricula. Technical training may include instruction in the use and operation of cameras, lighting equipment, film or video editing equipment and software, and other relevant equipment. Film schools may also include courses and training in such subjects as television production, broadcasting, audio engineering, and animation.
History
The formal teaching of film began with theory rather than practical technical training starting soon after the development of the film making process in the 1890s. Early film theorists were more interested in writing essays on film theory than in teaching students in a classroom environment. The Moscow Film School was founded in 1919 with Russian filmmakers including Sergei Eisenstein, Vsevolod Pudovkin, and Lev Kuleshov serving as faculty to disseminate their very distinct viewpoints on the purpose of film.

Robert Rodriguez
Robert Anthony Rodríguez (born June 20, 1968) is an American filmmaker and musician. He shoots and produces many of his films in Mexico and his home state, Texas.
Rodriguez directed the 1992 action film El Mariachi, which was a commercial success after grossing $2 million against a budget of $7,000. The film spawned two sequels known collectively as the Mexico Trilogy: Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. He directed From Dusk till Dawn in 1996 and developed its television adaptation series (2014–present). Rodriguez co-directed the 2005 neo-noir crime thriller anthology Sin City (adapted from the graphic novel of the same name) and the 2014 sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Rodriguez also directed the Spy Kids films, The Faculty, as well as The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D, Planet Terror, and Machete.
He is a friend and frequent collaborator of filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, who founded the production company A Band Apart, which Rodriguez was a member of. In December 2013, Rodriguez launched his own cable television channel, El Rey.

15 Minutes
15 Minutes is a 2001 American action thriller film starring Robert De Niro and Edward Burns. Its story revolves around a homicide detective and a fire marshal who team up to stop a pair of Eastern European murderers who are videotaping their crimes in order to become rich and famous. The film also stars Melina Kanakaredes and Kelsey Grammer. The title is a reference to the Andy Warhol quotation, "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes."
Plot
The film begins with Emil Slovak (Karel Roden) and Oleg Razgul (Oleg Taktarov) arriving in America. They were former criminals and after getting out of prison have come to the U.S. to claim their part of a bank heist in Russia (or somewhere in Czech Republic). Within minutes of arriving, Oleg steals a video camera. They go to the run down apartment of their old partner and demand their share. He doesn't have it so Emil stabs him and his wife to death, as Oleg tapes it with the camera. The couple's friend, Czech immigrant Daphne Handlova (Vera Farmiga), covertly witnesses the murders from the bathroom, but she escapes before they can get her too. To hide the crime, Emil burns down the apartment.

Every 15 Minutes
Every 15 Minutes is a two-day program focusing on high school juniors and seniors, which challenges them to think about drinking, driving, personal safety, and the responsibility of making mature decisions. Along with alcohol-related crashes, it focuses on the impact that their decisions would have on family and friends.
The Every 15 Minutes program originated in Canada and was soon adopted in the United States first in Spokane, Washington. The site of the first Every 15 Minutes program in California was in Chico which was presented by the Chico Police Department in 1995.
Planning and events
Planning
The Every 15 Minutes program starts months in advance of the actual presentation, in fact the very first program at a school will take about one-year to plan and prepare. This includes all of the involved agencies, the hospital, court, lawyers, judge, coroner/funeral home, students, parents and school administrators. Student participants are selected to cover the full spectrum of the student body, thus, the audience will be able to relate to at least one of the participants on the crash day.

Final assignment of my Camera Techniques class in film school was to make a 10 - 15 minute film with as much editing and special touch ups as we wanted. I had a script written and had a too many problems filming it so I chopped that up and made this very unrelated piece of work. Me and my classmate Ahmee Singh decided to put some ideas together and make the same film in the same location over one night and just shoot it with each of us taking over director duties. This is what came out of that. It was way too short, way too strange, and way too random. I got an F. But I passed the class so yay!

Final assignment of my Camera Techniques class in film school was to make a 10 - 15 minute film with as much editing and special touch ups as we wanted. I had a script written and had a too many problems filming it so I chopped that up and made this very unrelated piece of work. Me and my classmate Ahmee Singh decided to put some ideas together and make the same film in the same location over one night and just shoot it with each of us taking over director duties. This is what came out of that. It was way too short, way too strange, and way too random. I got an F. But I passed the class so yay!

Thirteen year old Caroline and her family just moved halfway across the country. Her old life was easy - at her old school she was popular, but now, all this fitting in stuff seems weird. Mom tells her to join clubs. But it's not that easy... Dodgeball team - Ouch! Debate team - Yikes! How about the ABC's (the Anti-Bullying Committee) - not a chance. A group of desperate losers want her to be in their rap video. Sounds like fun, but does she dare? And when getting too friendly with the chess club nerd threatens her chances with the popular girls it seems she might not fit anywhere. Is she brave enough to stand on her own and be herself? Caroline's been told a million times "be yourself." But how do you do that if you don't know who "yourself" is yet?

Both Alina and I demonstrate our every day makeup exactly the way we would get ready for work. I hope this video will show you guys how simple it can be. This was not meant to be a challenge but we are calling it that since we had a timer running and we were playing by specific guidelines. Film director and Moody College of Communication alumnus Robert Rodriguez revealed a worldwide green screen film making challenge to students enrolled in The University of Texas at Austin Department of Radio-Television-Film at South by Southwest on March 15, 2013.
To complete the film, Rodriguez needs actors, writers and artists to contribute digital footage or graphic design to each of the three acts. Fifteen flights arriving or departing from Mumbai have been cancelled on Sunday as the main runway at the city airport will be shut during the day for maintenance. Three flights were cancelled on Saturday for the ongoing work. The runway will remain closed from 10 am to 5 pm till February 17....
