Jacqueline Yvonne Harry (born August 14, 1956), better known mononymously as Jackée, is an American actress and television personality, best known for her roles as Sandra Clark, on the NBC TV series 227 (1985–89), and as Lisa Landry on the ABC/The WB sitcom Sister, Sister (1994–99). She is noted for being the first and currently only African-American to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She is currently starring as Pauletta Birdsong in Byron Allen's syndicated sitcom The First Family. She also starred as Evelyn Rand in the Disney sitcom Girl Meets World.
Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and raised in Harlem, New York, to a Trinidadian mother and African-American father, Harry began studying acting at the High School of the Performing Arts on the Lower East Side in New York City. She was an American History teacher at Brooklyn Technical High School before beginning a career on the New York stage.
Harry made her Broadway debut in A Broadway Musical, playing a chorine. Throughout the 1980s she starred in numerous productions both on and off Broadway, and in national touring productions. In 1994, Harry made her return to the theater by starring as Billie Holiday in the play Lady Day at Emersons Bar and Grill. Following that stage production, she fulfilled the role of "madam who runs a bordello" in the Broadway musical The Boys from Syracuse. In the mid-2000s, she appeared in stage productions of The Sunshine Boys, Damn Yankees, and A Christmas Carol. She also toured nationally in JD Lawrence's The Clean Up Woman.
Jonny McGovern (born July 12, 1976), also known by his character name The Gay Pimp, is an openly gayAmerican stand-up comedian, musician and podcaster. He has recorded three albums as comedic singer The Gay Pimp, and is also a cast member of Logo's The Big Gay Sketch Show.
Jonny McGovern was born to Mary McGovern and Rob Gutowski in Brooklyn, New York. His parents traveled often and McGovern grew up primarily in Egypt and Thailand. McGovern later returned to the United States to study acting at Boston University, where he earned a BFA.
McGovern stated that he was inspired to create his signature comedic character, The Gay Pimp, after listening to rap songs and interviews by Eminem. McGovern has said,
After the songs from the show began to get heavy rotation in New York City nightclubs, McGovern was approached about making a music video for one of his songs, Soccer Practice. The video for Soccer Practice, which received heavy rotation in dance clubs as well as notoriety on the Internet, featured McGovern in a shirt that was emblazoned with the sequined words "Gay Pimp."
Jonny is a masculine given name, and pet name, in the English language. In some cases it is a simplified form of Johnny; in other cases it is a pet form of Jon. A variant form of Jonny is Jonnie.
"Where Are They Now" is a song recorded by English Oi!/punk rock band Cock Sparrer in 1982, from their album Shock Troops. The lyrics comment on the previous six years of the punk subculture. The song portrays the early years of the punk movement in a negative light, bemoaning the lack of follow-through by the leading figures. It also comments on the band members' own naivete, exhorting listeners to not make the same idealistic mistakes. Its lyrics mention several punk legends. In an interview with the fanzine Schizoipunx from July 27, 2006, Mickey Beaufoy of Cock Sparrer stated:
The lyrics "Rotten on the telly, showing what a few choice words can do" refer to the Sex Pistols' lead singer Johnny Rotten and the Grundy incident, in which Rotten and other Sex Pistols swore on live television, sending Britain into an uproar.
The song has been covered and recorded by Swingin Utters, Strike Anywhere, Roger Miret And The Disasters and also, in their own language, the Spanish band La Polla Records and the German band Beck's Pistols.
Oprah Gail Winfrey, born January 29, 1954, is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist. She is best known for her talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show, which was the highest-rated program of its kind in history and was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011. Dubbed the "Queen of All Media", she has been ranked the richest African-American of the 20th century, the greatest black philanthropist in American history, and is now North America's first and only multi-billionaire Black. Several assessments regard her as the most influential woman in the world. In 2013, she was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama and honorary doctorate degrees from Duke and Harvard.
Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a teenage single mother and later raised in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood. She has stated that she was molested during her childhood and early teens and became pregnant at 14; her son died in infancy. Sent to live with the man she calls her father, a barber in Tennessee, Winfrey landed a job in radio while still in high school and began co-anchoring the local evening news at the age of 19. Her emotional ad-lib delivery eventually got her transferred to the daytime-talk-show arena, and after boosting a third-rated local Chicago talk show to first place, she launched her own production company and became internationally syndicated.

(Spoken dialogue)
(Hello?
Hey, it's me.
Hey, what's up?
Uh, me and the boys were gonna go for a ride, downtown or
Something. You wanna come?
Yeah, I guess.
Can we take your car?
What?)
Yeah, uh-huh
C'mon baby
VERSE ONE:
Come and take a ride with me
It's time to leave your worries behind
Take a little time at the wheel
'Cause I know it's gonna be alright
I've got to get away
Baby, can't you see
Listen what I say
Everybody, one two three, take a ride with me, c'mon
CHORUS:
Run away from the world behind you
(Run away, your cares won't find you)
Up ahead is where your cares won't find you
You gotta go where your soul is free
(Take a ride with me)
Baby, one two three, take a ride with me, c'mon
Down the road, don't you know you're flying
(Down the road, the stars are shining)
You'll be headed where the stars are shining
(Take a ride with me)
You've gotta go where your soul is free
Baby, one two three, take a ride with me
C'mon
C'mon baby
VERSE TWO:
Checkin' out the scene tonight
And your favorite song is on the radio
Everybody feels so right
And I know, it's time for us to go
Got to get away
Baby, can't you see
Listen what I say
Everybody, one two three, take a ride with me, c'mon
(repeat Chorus)
Yeah
Yeah---
Come and take ride
C'mon
Run away, your cares won't find you (oh)
Take a ride with me (oh---)
Down the road, the stars are shining
Take a ride with me
Got to get away
Baby, can't you see
Listen what I say
Everybody, one two three
