London i/ˈlʌndən/ is the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom. Standing on the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for two millennia. It was founded by the Romans, who named it Londinium. London's ancient core, the City of London, largely retains its 1.12-square-mile (2.9 km2) medieval boundaries and in 2011 had a resident population of 7,375, making it the smallest city in England. Since at least the 19th century, the term London has also referred to the metropolis developed around this core. The bulk of this conurbation forms Greater London, a region of England governed by the Mayor of London and the London Assembly. The conurbation also covers two English counties: the small district of the City of London and the county of Greater London. The latter constitutes the vast majority of London, though historically it was split between Middlesex (a now abolished county), Essex, Surrey, Kent and Hertfordshire.
GoodBooks were an English indie rock band originating from Sevenoaks in Kent. They first received media attention upon releasing their self-published EP Valves and Robots in June 2005.
The band signed to Transgressive Records in late-2005 for one single (Bassist Christopher Porter has the date the band signed their record deal tattooed on his left wrist) and released "Walk With Me" in April, before being snapped up by Columbia Records shortly after. GoodBooks disbanded after their last gig on 28 June 2009.
The name GoodBooks was suggested to Max Cooke at a gig by children's TV Presenter Holly Willoughby.
GoodBooks' evolution began when Max Cooke and Leo von Bülow-Quirk started doing Beatles covers in their attic when they were just 8. It took till 2001 for the band to take shape when at Sevenoaks School in Kent, Max and Leo came together with Chris Porter and JP Duncan to form The Fingerprints. The Fingerprints set about their musical career by self-recording two albums; Cards on the Table, Clothes on the Floor and Miranda. Tracks such as "Tangerine" appeared on local radio stations such as BBC Radio Kent and KMFM. The band also started gigging locally in the South-East during this time, with regular gigs at the Tunbridge Wells Forum helping them to develop a modest regional fanbase, even performing in front of 8,000 people on one eventful Christmas.
A book is a set of written, printed, illustrated, or blank sheets, made of ink, paper, parchment, or other materials, fastened together to hinge at one side. A single sheet within a book is a leaf, and each side of a leaf is a page. A set of text-filled or illustrated pages produced in electronic format is known as an electronic book, or e-book.
Books may also refer to works of literature, or a main division of such a work. In library and information science, a book is called a monograph, to distinguish it from serial periodicals such as magazines, journals or newspapers. The body of all written works including books is literature. In novels and sometimes other types of books (for example, biographies), a book may be divided into several large sections, also called books (Book 1, Book 2, Book 3, and so on). An avid reader of books is a bibliophile or colloquially, bookworm.
A shop where books are bought and sold is a bookshop or bookstore. Books can also be borrowed from libraries. Google has estimated that as of 2010, approximately 130,000,000 unique titles had been published. In some wealthier nations, printed books are giving way to the usage of electronic or e-books, though sales of e-books declined in the first half of 2015.
Talk About is a phrase shared in the titles several forms of media:
A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. Films may be of recent date and, depending upon the festival's focus, can include international and domestic releases. Some festivals focus on a specific film-maker or genre (e.g., film noir) or subject matter (e.g., horror film festivals). A number of film festivals specialise in short films of a defined maximum length. Film festivals are typically annual events. Some film historians do not consider Film Festivals as official releases of film, like Jerry Beck. The best known film festivals are the Venice Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival, the latter being the largest film festival worldwide, based on attendance. The Venice Film Festival is the oldest major festival. The Melbourne International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the oldest in the world. A 2013 study found 3,000 active films festivals worldwide—active defined as having held an event in the previous 24 months.

In which I return from a long absence to -- wait, the upload page has TOTALLY CHANGED. This is so weird. Sorry. Anyway. First video in a while and it's about books that are set in London, because I'm a Londoner and I like that sort of thing. If I ever move to a different city, rest assured I'll do the same thing there too. Promise. At the moment it looks like that'll either be Cambridge or Leeds, but nothing's finalised. Also, I just ordered a battery, so hopefully soon I'll be able to take my camera places because it'll have a life of more than 12 minutes at a time! Amazing! (This video may seem long, but it's half the original length. It took the camera's entire battery life to film, because in my absence from making videos I've lost my ability to be concise. Tragic.) --- Things I pr...

Waking up at 9 am and leaving to go somewhere on time is rare in my books. Usually waking up at this time before heading to work also puts me in a grumpy mood but being woken up at the sound of 8000rpm down country roads reminds me that riding shot gun has its uses. Finally meeting up with the h.i.s (Hondas in South) reminds me that low does not have to equate to slow all the time. Fyse's Integra just symbolises what H.I.S is all about. Clean, cool cars. H.I.S has so many cars to offer and we will definitely be making another trip down to film another H.I.S vi...
