Göbekli Tepe is an archaeological site at the top of a mountain ridge in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey, approximately 6 km (4 mi) northeast of the town of Şanlıurfa.
Gobekli Tepi is the most mysterious archaeological site ever found. It consists of numerous carved circles of enormous standing stones, but the most amazing part of it is that the site has been confirmed to be at least 12,000 years old. Not only that, these immense structures were not only built, used in some unknown way for a thousand years, they were then painstakingly BURIED. But why? By whom?
Listen as Linda Moulton Howe interviews Dr. Robert Schoch about the site and describes her own experiences there, in Cappadocia and on the summit of Mt. Nimrud, which, as has just been discovered, is not natural at all, but an artificial mountaintop of unknown age.

Tepi
Tepi (also transliterated Tippi) is a town in southern Ethiopia. The vowels in the name are pronounced as in the English words tape and pea. Located in the Sheka Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region (SNNPR), this town has a latitude and longitude of 7°12′N 35°27′E / 7.200°N 35.450°E / 7.200; 35.450 with a mean elevation of 1,097 meters above sea level. The town is said to be named after a Majangir man who once had a bee hive in the large tree that stood in the marketplace.
Overview
Tepi hosts an airport (ICAO code TIE IATA code HATP) with a long, smooth but unpaved runway, the destination of scheduled flights by Ethiopian Airlines since the 1960s. Since 1966, the town has had a medical clinic and the same year the road to Tepi was improved. Electricity became available in 1984. The town also has postal service. This town has long been a market and commercial center for the area. Construction of all-weather roads were begun in the late 1970s, and by 1988 they extended from Tepi in three directions: south to Mizan Teferi (built with Cuban help), southeast to Shishinda (toward Bonga), and north to Gore. An elementary school was begun in Tepi about the time the Italians left, and the town has had a high school since about 1980. In 2009 Mizan Tepi University opened its Faculty of Engineering and Science in Tepi.

Too Phat
Too Phat is a Malaysian hip-hop duo, consisting of Joe Flizzow (born Johan Ishak in Johor Bahru, 16 November 1975, aka The President) and Malique Ibrahim (born in Johor Bahru, 21 August 1977, aka The General).
Career
In the late 1990s Joe Flizzow,Malique Ibrahim and Kevin Felix@Doctah'K at that time formed a musical trio who later became a duo under the Positive Tone label. Their first big break came in 1999 when their first singles, Li'l Fingaz and Too Phat Baby entered normal rotation on local radio.
On the back of the success of these first singles, work soon began on an album entitled whuttadilly?. So far, Plan B has sold over 45,000 copies, earning double platinum status in Malaysia. Cashing in on the duo's fame, recording label Positive Tone, a subsidiary of EMI International, produced a re-issue of Plan B entitled Plan B Platinum Edition, including two new songs, "Clap to This" and "Last Song". Song lyrics were also included in the Platinum Edition and all albums and singles thereafter. It consists of numerous carved circles of enormous standing stones, but the most amazing part of it is that the site has been confirmed to be at least 12,000 years old. Not only that, these immense structures were not only built, used in some unknown way for a thousand years, they were then painstakingly BURIED. But why? By whom?
Listen as Linda Moulton Howe interviews Dr. Robert Schoch about the site and describes her own experiences there, in Cappadocia and on the summit of Mt. Nimrud, which, as has just been discovered, is not natural at all, but an artificial mountaintop of unknown age.

Moscow is a city of creativity and innovation, but is also very much aware of its own history; as such, a haunting part of any Moscow sightseeing is a visit to the Fallen Monument Park. After the fall of the Soviet Union, countless statues and monuments were removed from their pedestals and moved to this park. Over the years, more modern artwork and sculptures have been added, turning the park into a strange, yet peaceful graveyard of former icons.

Cross over the Charles Bridge and climb up to Prague Castle, a network of palaces, churches, and numerous museums. Be careful, as folks were a lot shorter back then – you may have to duck your head as you walk through the low-ceilinged, artifact-filled halls.
Your Prague sightseeing must pause at St. Vitus Cathedral, a massive gothic structure dating back 600 years. You’ll have to arch your back to see over 300 feet to the ceilings, which seem to vanish into the heavens. By the time you’re back outside, it will likely be twilight. You’ll see pigs roasting on spits and people gathered under the statue of St. Wenceslas to share their daily adventures. The people here are friendly, so why not join them and chime in with your own stories?

From Montevideo’s Telecommunications Tower you can see the hill that gave the city its name.
Another tower, the Palacio Salvo looms high above the Plaza Independencia in the City Center. Under this square is the mausoleum for the country’s revolutionary hero José Artigas.
Nearby Plaza Matriz is the city’s oldest square and home to the 18th-century Metropolitan Cathedral, the focal point of Uruguay’s Old Town.
Soccer is big here and in 1930 Uruguay hosted and won the first-ever FIFA World Cup in the Estadio Centenario.
Another proud local tradition is “parrilla" and the best way to try it is to buy cuts of meat in the Mercado del Puerto, and have those cooked for you on the spot.
The 19-mile long promenade, La Rambla leads to the city’s favorite playground: De Los Pocitos Beach.
To the west along the river is the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Colonia del Sacramento, with its landmark lighthouse, sleepy Plaza de Armas, historic Portón de Campo and atmospheric Street of Sighs.
To the east of Montevideo, if you follow the coast, is Piriápolis. This beach resort offers great views from its hilltop San Antonio Temple.
The next highlight on this road trip is the lighthouse of La Paloma on the Cabo de Santa María peninsula.
On your way to the lighthouse of Punta del Este, don’t miss eccentric Casapueblo, a wonderful hotel and art gallery designed by local artist Carlos Páez Vilaró in Punta Ballena.
Uruguay may be small, but its big heart and relaxing vibe create a lifetime of memories.
