A Perth man has died in a head on crash after attempting to do a U-turn on a highway near the small WA coastal town of Leeman.
The 49-year-old man was travelling in his Holden Commodore along Indian Ocean Drive, about 290 kilometres north of Perth, when he attempted the turn and collided with a Ford Territory at 1.20pm on Wednesday.
The Holden driver from Innaloo died at the scene.
The driver and passenger in the Ford Territory escaped the crash without any serious injuries.
