Lens may refer to:
A film festival is an organized, extended presentation of films in one or more cinemas or screening venues, usually in a single city or region. Increasingly, film festivals show some films outdoors. Films may be of recent date and, depending upon the festival's focus, can include international and domestic releases. Some festivals focus on a specific film-maker or genre (e.g., film noir) or subject matter (e.g., horror film festivals). A number of film festivals specialise in short films of a defined maximum length. Film festivals are typically annual events. Some film historians do not consider Film Festivals as official releases of film, like Jerry Beck. The best known film festivals are the Venice Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and the Berlin International Film Festival, the latter being the largest film festival worldwide, based on attendance. The Venice Film Festival is the oldest major festival. The Melbourne International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the oldest in the world. A 2013 study found 3,000 active films festivals worldwide—active defined as having held an event in the previous 24 months.
Jeremain Marciano Lens (born 24 November 1987) is a Dutch footballer who plays for English club Sunderland and the Netherlands national football team. He is a versatile attacking player, known for his pace and stamina, primarily being used as a winger or a striker, but he can successfully play as a second striker.
He began his career at AZ, and after a loan at NEC played a part in their 2008–09 Eredivisie triumph. In 2010 he moved to PSV, where he won the 2011–12 KNVB Cup, and in 2013 was signed by Dynamo Kyiv. He won the Ukrainian Cup in his first season, the double in his second, and signed for Sunderland in July 2015.
Lens is a full international for the Netherlands, earning over 25 caps. In August 2010, he received his first international cap against Ukraine and scored a debut goal. He was part of the Dutch squad which came third at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Lens made his debut into professional football in the 2005–06 season. He played two matches for AZ that season. Before that he played in the youth team of AZ, FC Omniworld, Ajax Amsterdam and his regional team, Spartaan.
Robert Edward Machado (better known simply as Rob Machado) (born October 16, 1973, Sydney, Australia) is an Australian-born American professional surfer from Cardiff-by-the-Sea, a community in Encinitas (San Diego County), California.
Machado attended San Dieguito High School, and is known for his casual, "laid-back" style both in and out of the water. Though he rides a modern tri-fin shortboard, he is still considered a "soul-surfer" largely because of his soft-spoken, humble personality and his disinterest in the spotlight, along with his fluid surfing style, which has earned him the nickname "Mr. Smoothy." He is one of the best-known goofy-foot surfers in the world today. His style influences include Gerry Lopez and California's Taylor Lobdell, who he saw surfing on a soft top at River Jetties in 2002 and has tried to emulate his style ever since.
Rob has won many of pro surfing's most prestigious contests, including Hawaii's Pipeline Masters (Triple Crown of Surfing), and the U.S. Open of Surfing, the largest surfing event held on the U.S. mainland. His 2006 win in that competition was only his latest at Huntington Beach, and it came on the heels of his victory at the 2006 Monster Energy Pro (also held at Pipeline) on Oahu's North Shore. Also, Rob was on the "West" team that won the 2006 Summer X Games surfing competition, called "The Game," held each year in Mexico.
The no symbol (also known as a prohibition sign, no sign, circle-backslash symbol, nay, interdictory circle, or universal no) is a circle with a diagonal line through it (running from top left to bottom right), surrounding a pictogram used to indicate something is not permitted. The no symbol is generally colored red, but is sometimes another color, typically black.
The Unicode code point for the prohibition sign (also called the no symbol) is U+20E0;
, Combining Enclosing Circle Backslash ( ⃠ ). It is a combining character, which means that it appears on top of the character before it, so putting d⃠ will show d⃠. (Note: This will appear only if the character exists in an available font.) It also appears in the Webdings and Wingdings 2 fonts.
There is also a prohibition sign emoji located at U+1F6AB NO ENTRY SIGN
(🚫), which does not combine with anything.
According to the ISO standard (and also under a UK Statutory Instrument), the red area must take up at least 35% of the total area of the sign within the outer circumference of the "prohibition sign". So 35% of everything within the outer edge of the "no symbol" must be the symbol itself. Additionally, for printed signs under the UK rules, the width of a "no symbol" is set at 80% the height of the area it is printed to.

Want to see more? You could follow my blog? It's free! :D http://www.bloglovin.com/en/blog/2609935/klairedelys/follow The lenses I use are coloured contacts, NOT for my vision. They're meant for cosplaying, dressing up or just a one-off. They are not meant to be worn constantly. You should ALWAYS check with an optician before purchasing lenses just to make sure they're ok. If you have a history of eye problems, if your eyes are different shapes, of if the lenses just don't feel right DO NOT USE THEM. Always keep your tools clean. I always wash the tweezers after using them and make sure that the lens cases are super clean. I learned at lot of new tips and tricks for this video from Earaness, check him out his makeup is awesome!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJ2m8Bi3LVE&feature;=rela...

This is a short test with the tripod in the same spot switching between prime lenses to show how the crop affects the 7D. The subject, ace stand in Chris Clement, was roughly five feet from the camera. This isn't meant to be an aesthetic test to show the difference in image quality between the two cameras. It's a down and dirty field guide for myself and the other shooters we work with so we can quickly figure what lens we want to use on each camera. We go from 20mm all the way to 100mm with a Lensbaby composer thrown in at the very end.

FULL ARTICLE: http://vashivisuals.com/dramatic-filmmaking-with-a-2000mm-lens/ This beautifully executed shot from Tinker Tailor Solider Spy by DP Hoyte van Hoytema was filmed with a 2000mm lens. This massive telephoto lens compresses the foreground and background so they appear to be very close together. The mile long runway allows the approaching plane to act as the agent of impending doom as a critical secret is revealed in the plot. The 2000mm lens keeps the actors and the plane at relatively the same size and adds incredible tension to the scene.

You and I are in the same room
We both think we're fair
We both live for truths
But then how are we to define something so subjective
Living under the same roof
So here these battles of wills
They beg for some proof
Of right versus wrong
Your approach seems better than mine
Though it's working for you all I feel is disconnection
So now it's your (your) religion 'gainst my (my) religion
My humble opinion 'gainst yours
This does not feel like love
It's your (your) conviction 'gainst my (my) conviction
And I'd like to know what we've seen
Through the lens of love... love... love... love
And so now your grand assessment is that I'm not in your group that I'm not
Your kind
And so we're locked in a stalemate with you in your corner and me dismayed
In mine
Repeat chorus
And this stance keeps us locked in biophilias
And this lie remains about us being separate
