E3 2016 organizers, ESA, reveal E3 Live for gamers, takes place June 14-16

While E3 has always had a public facing presence, the show has traditionally been something that's for industry professionals. Gradually, gamers and the public have become more involved with the show and this year E3's organizers, ESA, revealed a new plan to incorporate the public with E3 ... The event will take place during the same three days that the industry trade show takes place, June 14-16....

ESPN has already started its own esports division, and now it sounds like it might buy broadcasting rights to League of Legends. The sports network is reportedly in discussions with Riot Games to pay $500 million to broadcast the popular MOBA, according to PVP Live. It's not known what effect this will have on Riot's current agreements with Twitch, Yahoo, and other streaming platforms ... ....
