On October 31 2015 the first short 7 hour and 20 minute trailer was filmed at Hovs Hallar in the south of Sweden. This is the same location Ingmar Bergman used for the iconic scene where Antonius Block challenges the grim reaper to a game of chess in the Seventh Seal from 1957.
The trailer was filmed in one single take for 7 hours and 20 minutes with no cuts and the Swedish performers Stina Pehrsdotter and Niclas Hallberg interpreted the chess game from the film as a Bergman-esque comment on the absurdity and randomness of existence in the scenes; life/quest/power /death/escape/rest/love.
The soundtrack is composed by Marsen Jules/Martin Juhls (www.marsenjules.de)'
Ambiancé is a 720 hour/30 day long film that is set to premiere on December 31 2020. This will be the artist Anders Weberg's good bye to the moving medium as a way of expression for the last 25 years and no more films will be made after that. C'est fini.
The final film will be screened once syncronised on all the continents and then deleted. Ambiancé is 720 hours long (30 days) and will be shown in its full length on a single occasion syncronised in all the continents of the world and then destroyed.
Ambiancé will be the longest film made that doesn't exist.
Up until 2020 three teasers/trailers will be publiced.
The first 72 minute teaser was released in 2014, the first short trailer in 2016 and then the longer 72 hour trailer will be released in 2018.

Ambiancé is 720 hours long (30 days) and will be shown in its full length on a single occasion syncronised in all the continents of the world and then destroyed.
As a small tease until the premiere in 2020 shorter teaser/trailers will be presented at different occasions.
2014 – Short teaser which is 72 minutes long and that has the intent to convey the mood and tempo from the full piece. (The teaser was online between July 4 and July 20 2014 and had amazing view counts. 1,622,147 views.)
2016 – The first short trailer with duration 7 hours 20 minutes. 2018 – Longer trailer with duration 72 hours.

Ambiance is said to be the worlds longest film! Swedish Director Anders Weberg
released a 72 minute teaser (trailer) for his epic movie on July 4th, 2014. And it will only be available to the public until July 20th 2014!

No worries, if you miss the first trailer, the second will be available in the year 2016, and it will run 7 hours and 20 minutes! But that's nothing! The third trailer in 2018 will be a 72 hours! Yes a whole 3 day long movie trailer!
All of this leads up to the grand climax! On December 31st, 2020 - Ambiance will finally debut, simultaneously on all 7 continents, the movie will be 720 hours long, yes a full 30 days! A whole month! It will only be shown 1 time, then it will be destroyed! So it truly is a once in a lifetime event!
The current record holder for the longest film ever produced is, "Modern Times Forever" from 2011! And while it is excessive, at 10 days long, it's pretty tame in comparison to the length of the Ambiance movie!
Here's my take on the whole thing. I honestly laughed until I cried after finding out about this month long film, "Ambiance"! It's bizarre and extreme in my opinion. The fact that this fame seeking director would spend so much of his time making this movie is a testament to the extremities that he he will reach to achieve fame. I mean, who is really gonna cut a hole in a movie theater seat, place a bucket beneath it, and poop right there in the theater so they don't miss a moment of the film? And wont people have to sleep? I mean unless they took breaks in between. Then it would actually be even more ridiculous!
I can see this turning into a sick contest to see how long a person can stay and watch until they leave or pass out! I can totally see people using controlled substances before watching the film, to stay awake as long as possible! And, I can see the movie patrons being a very awkward bunch without much to do! They would have to pause their entire life and devote a month to a movie that they will never see again! I mean, you're telling me that these people are willing to leave their spouse, children, job, significant other behind etc. to see a silly film? Which judging by the trailer, the little bit I watched that is, is just a bunch of instrumental music with random shots of birds, flowers, a womans very red hair blowing in the wind etc.!
Could you imagine people asking you, "Hey man, which part was your favorite?" And then you respond, "About 15 days, 6 hours and 18 seconds into it, the chick picking her nose. Easily the most entertaining part!"I mean, you can't be serious!
You know, I just realized something. If this movie is slated for a December 31st 2020 debut, maybe the jokes on us! Maybe this guy works for the Swedish Government and they know that the World will end before then! Or possibly even crazier, he knows that people will see and remember the whole film because their brains will be micro-chipped, and they will be able to watch and retain all of the information for instance recollection inside their minds. And watch it again whenever they want inside of their brain!
On second though. I wonder whether or not anyone will try to secretly bootleg the film. I doubt that Google Glass can hold a months worth of video. But maybe some other sort of way. Like sneaking in a large digital hard drive inside of a woman's purse or someone at a theater may right something up, or pretend that they destroyed it!

Ola Salo
Ola Salo (born Rolf Ola Anders Svensson; 19 February 1977, Avesta, Sweden) is the Swedish rock vocalist of the Swedish glam rock band The Ark.
He lived in Rottne, Växjö Municipality, in Sweden when he was a child, where, in 1991, he and his friends Jepson and Leari officially started the band The Ark. Salo is openly bisexual.
Salo and the other members of the band had an international breakthrough in 2000 with the album We Are The Ark, containing the signature song "It Takes a Fool to Remain Sane" (for which Ola won a Grammis for "Song of the Year"), a song Salo wrote after watching the Danish film Idioterne (The Idiots).
In October 2006 during a party celebrating the new Swedish embassy in Washington, The Ark was performing on stage. As a plane was flying very low overhead Salo said "In this country, you don't know where those planes are headed. Well, this one seems to be heading in the right direction anyway..." meaning the airport, but then suddenly adding "...to the White House" which happened to be in the same direction.

Ambiancé 720 hours/30 days. On December 31, 2020 the Swedish artist Anders Weberg end his 20 plus years relation with the moving image as a means of creative expression. After more than 400 films he puts an end with the premiere of what will be the longest film ever made. Ambiancé is 720 hours long (30 days) and will be shown in its full length on a single occasion syncronised in all the continents of the world and then destroyed. So it will be the longest film made that doesn't exist. In the piece Ambiancé space and time is intertwined into a surreal dream-like journey beyond places and is an abstract nonlinear narrative summary of the artist’s time spent with the moving image . A sort of memoir movie . (Film memoir ) . This in the visual expression that is constantly characterized the work throughout the artists career. This will be Anders last film he will ever make. On October 31 2015 the first short 7 hour and 20 minute trailer was filmed at Hovs Hallar in the south of Sweden. This is the same location Ingmar Bergman used for the iconic scene where Antonius Block challenges the grim reaper to a game of chess in the Seventh Seal from 1957.
The trailer was filmed in one single take for 7 hours and 20 minutes with no cuts and the Swedish performers Stina Pehrsdotter and Niclas Hallberg interpreted the chess game from the film as a Bergman-esque comment on the absurdity and randomness of existence in the scenes; life/quest/power /death/escape/rest/love.
The soundtrack is composed by Marsen Jules/Martin Juhls (www.marsenjules.de)'
Ambiancé is a 720 hour/30 day long film that is set to premiere on December 31 2020. This will be the artist Anders Weberg's good bye to the moving medium as a way of expression for the last 25 years and no more films will be made after that. C'est fini.
The final film will be screened once syncronised on all the continents and then deleted. Ambiancé is 720 hours long (30 days) and will be shown in its full length on a single occasion syncronised in all the continents of the world and then destroyed.
Ambiancé will be the longest film made that doesn't exist.
Up until 2020 three teasers/trailers will be publiced.

Ambiance is said to be the worlds longest film! Swedish Director Anders Weberg
released a 72 minute teaser (trailer) for his epic movie on July 4th, 2014. And it will only be available to the public until July 20th 2014!

No worries, if you miss the first trailer, the second will be available in the year 2016, and it will run 7 hours and 20 minutes! But that's nothing! The third trailer in 2018 will be a 72 hours! Yes a whole 3 day long movie trailer!
All of this leads up to the grand climax! On December 31st, 2020 - Ambiance will finally debut, simultaneously on all 7 continents, the movie will be 720 hours long, yes a full 30 days! A whole month! It will only be shown 1 time, then it will be destroyed! So it truly is a once in a lifetime event!
The current record holder for the longest film ever produced is, "Modern Times Forever" from 2011! And while it is excessive, at 10 days long, it's pretty tame in comparison to the length of the Ambiance movie!
Here's my take on the whole thing. I honestly laughed until I cried after finding out about this month long film, "Ambiance"! It's bizarre and extreme in my opinion. The fact that this fame seeking director would spend so much of his time making this movie is a testament to the extremities that he he will reach to achieve fame. I mean, who is really gonna cut a hole in a movie theater seat, place a bucket beneath it, and poop right there in the theater so they don't miss a moment of the film? And wont people have to sleep? I mean unless they took breaks in between. Then it would actually be even more ridiculous!
I can see this turning into a sick contest to see how long a person can stay and watch until they leave or pass out! I can totally see people using controlled substances before watching the film, to stay awake as long as possible! And, I can see the movie patrons being a very awkward bunch without much to do! They would have to pause their entire life and devote a month to a movie that they will never see again! I mean, you're telling me that these people are willing to leave their spouse, children, job, significant other behind etc. to see a silly film? Which judging by the trailer, the little bit I watched that is, is just a bunch of instrumental music with random shots of birds, flowers, a womans very red hair blowing in the wind etc.!
Could you imagine people asking you, "Hey man, which part was your favorite?" And then you respond, "About 15 days, 6 hours and 18 seconds into it, the chick picking her nose. Easily the most entertaining part!"I mean, you can't be serious!
You know, I just realized something. If this movie is slated for a December 31st 2020 debut, maybe the jokes on us! Maybe this guy works for the Swedish Government and they know that the World will end before then! Or possibly even crazier, he knows that people will see and remember the whole film because their brains will be micro-chipped, and they will be able to watch and retain all of the information for instance recollection inside their minds. And watch it again whenever they want inside of their brain!
On second though. I wonder whether or not anyone will try to secretly bootleg the film. I doubt that Google Glass can hold a months worth of video. But maybe some other sort of way. Like sneaking in a large digital hard drive inside of a woman's purse or someone at a theater may right something up, or pretend that they destroyed it!

Anders Weberg is a Swedish filmmaker and media artist, well known for his experimental films, videos, installations and media art concepts appearing at art festivals, museums and exhibitions world wide. He formerly worked with artists as Burnt Friedman, Hakan Lidbo, Andreas Tilliander and The Sparks. He exhibited at numerous art/film festivals, galleries, and museums internationally, including Oscar Niemeyer Museum, Curitiba, Brazil, 2012, Museum of Modern Art 2011, Buenos Aires, Argentina. File Brazil 2007-2008-2011- 2012, São Paulo, Brazil; FutureEverything 2010, Manchester, UK; National Museum of Contemporary Art 2010, Athens, Greece; Beijing Contemporary Art Centre 2010, Beijing, China. He also is the founder and curator of AIVA (Angelholm International Video Art Festival) and the Stian (con)temporary art gallery in Sweden. Currently he is working on "Ambiance" the worlds longest film, which will be released in 2020.
The German electronic music composer Marsen Jules is a poet in sound. Focused on minimalism and abstraction he creates atmospheric and deeply emotional tunes. Since his CD debut on City Centre Offices he released 7 full length albums and several compilation tracks on labels as 12K, Kompakt, Miasmah and Dronarivm as well as his own imprint Oktaf Records. In 2009 he received an award as best album at the Qwartz Electronic Music Awards in Paris which was also combined with a a two week residence in the legendary "GRM Studios" at Radio France. Marsen Jules played allready on international festivals as Mutek Montreal, Tranzvizualia (Poland), Node (Italy), Urban Explorers (NL), La Rout du Rock (Paris), Picknick Electronique (Montreal).

On December 31, 2020 the Swedish artist Anders Weberg end his 20 plus years relation with the moving image as a means of creative expression.
After more than 400 films he puts an end with the premiere of what will be the longest film ever made. Ambiancé is 720 hours long (30 days) and will be shown in its full length on a single occasion syncronised in all the continents of the world and then destroyed. So it will be the longest film made that doesn't exist.
In the piece Ambiancé space and time is intertwined into a surreal dream-like journey beyond places and is an abstract nonlinear narrative summary of the artist’s time spent with the moving image . A sort of memoir movie . (Film memoir ) .
This in the visual expression that is constantly characterized the work throughout the artists career.
This will be Anders last film he will ever make.
As a small tease until the premiere in 2020 shorter teaser/trailers will be presented at different occasions.
2014 – Short teaser which is 72 minutes long and that has the intent to convey the mood and tempo from the full piece. (The teaser was online between July 4 and July 20 2014 and had amazing view counts. 1,622,147 views.)

The developed countries agreed to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and promised to enable developing countries to fight climate change by extending funds and technology. But these turned out to be empty promises. Made by TERI in the run-up to the 21st Conference of Parties in Paris, ‘’It’s High Time’’ presents an incisive narrative on the science and politics behind global climate change negotiations. While highlighting the climate vulnerabilities of developing countries, it implores the developed world to live up to the commitments they have made for over several decades now.

On October 31 2015 the first short 7 hour and 20 minute trailer was filmed at Hovs Hallar in the south of Sweden. This is the same location Ingmar Bergman used for the iconic scene where Antonius Block challenges the grim reaper to a game of chess in the Seventh Seal from 1957.
The trailer was filmed in one single take for 7 hours and 20 minutes with no cuts and the Swedish performers Stina Pehrsdotter and Niclas Hallberg interpreted the chess game from the film as a Bergman-esque comment on the absurdity and randomness of existence in the scenes; life/quest/power /death/escape/rest/love.
The soundtrack is composed by Marsen Jules/Martin Juhls (www.marsenjules.de)'
Ambiancé is a 720 hour/30 day long film that is set to premiere on December 31 2020. This will be the artist Anders Weberg's good bye to the moving medium as a way of expression for the last 25 years and no more films will be made after that. C'est fini.
The final film will be screened once syncronised on all the continents and then deleted. Ambiancé is 720 hours long (30 days) and will be shown in its full length on a single occasion syncronised in all the continents of the world and then destroyed.

"**$3 from every sale of this album will be donated to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County (PA), SPCA of Wake County (NC), and numerous fledgling rescue centers in Europe who are instituting programs that encourage children to read to cats every day after school**
A Thousand Words is my longest, largest work to date, and what we can likely all agree this was all coming to - one, single 77-minute piece. Much more than one single narrative, however, it is comprised of 19 movements, and over 500 channels of audio... all performed in one take, live.
Combining a colossal library of pre-recorded and treated loops, samples, beds, and instrumentation, in concert with live arrangement, synthesis, loop creation, instrumentation, and even vocals, A Thousand Words is about as raw and unapologetic as anything I have ever made - as well as the most challenging, requiring more equipment, instruments, and dexterity than I have ever attempted before... as well three keyboards, six live instruments, and two samplers, all running through two computers and a phone, simultaneously.
But much more importantly is why I made it. A Thousand Words was borne from an amazing fact I discovered in recent times... that cats only meow to humans. They do not do so to each other, nor any other animal - but over time, have learned that this is the language with which they can communicate to people. And like with anyone, when you get to know them, you will know how much they truly have to say - they say it all, yet can do so without all the trappings, faults, and deception of people - for life is not anywhere near as complicated or unnecessarily difficult as we love to make it. It is, in essence, quite simple. And that is, in essence, quite amazing.
Once I started to really meditate on this idea, it began to expand to all aspects of my life... and I began to hear sound, and view communication in an entirely different light. It finally awoke in me what had laid dormant for nearly a year, as I spiraled in a black hole of manic depression and apathy toward every facet of my being, my past, and my future. I set about to not only shatter that blackness, but to do so in a way that could truly respect my even deeper love for those in my life for whom I can feel true love. Love is the willingness to do absolutely anything for the object of that love - and I am fortunate to have had, and have, several forces in my life that have let me experience pure happiness, and pure love. It just so happens that they are also, generally, those with a fairly limited vocabulary - but they say it all. You don’t have to say a lot to mean everything... and that is true for us all.
I hope this album can help you take another look whatever source of love you have in your life... how it conveys itself to you... and how you do the same in return - and to take a moment each day to do let someone know they’re not alone. After all, without that, what do we have?
