Second-time BET nominee, Stonebwoy appeared as guest on the Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy 99.7 FM with Doreen Andoh on May23. The dancehall musician made insights with regard to his music career so far. He voiced on the recent supposed fued with the self-acclaimed dancehall king, Shatta Wale, even though Stonebwoy has not recorded nor released any material targetting Shatta. Stonebwoy has been very active on international platforms lately and that is a plus for the Ghanaian music scene. He recently featured on Morgan Heritage's latest album, Avrakedabra. He is also working on his reggae album.

This is Side A (show more) Here we have another one of my Jungle Pirate tapes, this time from 95. Side A - DJ Devious Devon and MC Crystalize (Raggabeats Crew) and towards the end MC Riko Dan recorded from Luv NRG (Love Energy) 99.7 FM Manchester, I think it was a Wednesday evening from the summer of 95. It's being uploaded mainly for the memories, not the quality. Side B is more of a mixed bag, recorded from the same station but this time starting off with DJ Direkt and MC Lenki (Revolution Crew). Then going onto a small part of the Spin Inn Records Top 10 chart with DJ Direkt from a Tuesday night I thin...

Another jungle tape from the pirate station Luv NRG (Love Energy) 99.7 FM Manchester, UK in 1995. Unlike the others I've uploaded this is not my tape but one I downloaded about a year ago from http://www.mooschool.co.uk/music.html but the download link no longer works. If this is your tape please leave a comment or contact me and I will credit you. Either way thanks for the rip :) 95 mins of the Revolution Crew (DJ Direkt/Direct and Sappo) with MC's Trigga and Foxy Banton. Mainly jump up with a few amen tunes, I guess it was recorded just as jump up was becoming dominant, probably late 95ish. The First hour is DJ Direkt, the next 19 mins is Sappo and back to Direkt for the last section with a bit of MC Dieman/Diamond Ed. The pic is just a random one from tapedeck.org Partial Tracklist:...
