Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC, /ˈoʊpɛk/ OH-pek) is an intergovernmental organization of 13 petroleum-exporting nations, founded in 1960 by the first five members, and headquartered since 1965 in Vienna, Austria. The 13 countries account for 40% of global oil production and 73% of the world's "proven" oil reserves, making OPEC a major influence on global oil prices.
OPEC's stated mission is "to coordinate and unify the petroleum policies of its member countries and ensure the stabilization of oil markets, in order to secure an efficient, economic and regular supply of petroleum to consumers, a steady income to producers, and a fair return on capital for those investing in the petroleum industry." As of 2016, OPEC's members are Algeria, Angola, Ecuador, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia (the de facto leader), United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela. Two-thirds of OPEC's oil production and reserves are in its six Middle Eastern countries that surround the oil-rich Persian Gulf.

Despite plummeting oil prices and a glut in global supplies, members of the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), have decided to increase oil production levels despite growing disagreement among members over the strategy. OPEC, which provides a third of global oil, recently decided to increase its collective output to 31.5 million barrels per day, despite crude oil prices dropping to a seven-year-low, now hovering around $40 a barrel. Made up of Algeria, Angola, Ecuador, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Venezuela; the oil cartel has been supplying an already over-supplied market with cheap oil - with all of its members now feeling the pinch. But countries such as Venezuela have been the hardest hit. Wit...

The price of oil jumped after a group of major producers, including Russia, reached a deal with OPEC members in early December to cut production. The decision provided much-needed economic relief for Saudi Arabia, Iran, and others, but begs the question of Saudi relations with both Tehran and Moscow. What are the implications for the United States, both geostrategically and in energy policy? Join AEI for an expert panel on the agreement’s likely impact on global oil markets in 2017. The discussion will explore whether OPEC and non-OPEC states will comply with the deal, the geopolitical ramifications of higher oil prices, and how the Trump administration should factor the deal into its energy policy. Just a heads up. The USA has taken the oil market which OPEC cut last November 30th to beef up the price of oil and it worked for a short time but due to the USA oil fracking industry being able to pump oil out at a cheaper price they have taken the market that OPEC gave up and is driving the price of oil back down. OPEC is now calling the USA out on it and is demanding they cut back production. If they do not will it result in the loss of the PetroDollar. God says in his time HE will take it away for our rebellion against him.

OPEC: A History of Oil April 12, 2016 The history of oil has mainly been written from the point of view of international oil companies or from that of oil-consuming countries. This lecture aims to provide insight into the policies of oil-producing countries and how the international cooperation among them contributed to the global management of this crucial natural resource. LA MAS BELLA HISTORIA
QUE SE PUEDE CONTAR
LLEVA ESCRITO EL DOLOR
QUE PROVOCA UN AMOR
QUE NADIE ENTENDERÁ
SIEMPRE TODO A ESCONDIDAS
SIEMPRE MIRANDO ATRÁS
SÓLO LA OSCURIDAD
PUEDE SER NUESTRO HOGAR
DONDE CRECERÁ ESTE AMOR
Y NO... NO QUIERO MAS CLASES DE FALSA MORAL
QUE NADIE ES CULPABLE POR AMAR
EN MI PECHO NO LATE LA RAZÓN
SÓLO EL MAS SINCERO Y PURO AMOR
NO HAY MAR EN EL MUNDO
NI FUERZA CAPAZ
QUE PUEDA ESTE FUEGO APAGAR
SÓLO EL TIEMPO PUEDE SER NUESTRO JUEZ
TE QUISE, QUIERO Y QUERRÉ
QUE DIFÍCIL LO NUESTRO
QUE BONITO A LA VEZ
ES TAN DURO TENER
QUE BUSCAR LOS PORQUES
A ESTA SITUACIÓN
NUESTRO AMOR ES LA ISLA
EL TESORO ERES TÚ... OH DIOS
CON MI VIDA DARÉ
SÓLO EL BRAZO A TORCER
BIEN LO SABES, MI AMOR
NO... NO QUIERO MAS CLASES DE FALSA MORAL
QUE NADIE ES CULPABLE POR AMAR
EN MI PECHO NO LATE LA RAZÓN
SÓLO EL MAS SINCERO Y PURO AMOR
NO HAY MAR EN EL MUNDO
NI FUERZA CAPAZ
