Scott Kevin Walker (born November 2, 1967) is the 45th and current Governor of Wisconsin. First elected governor in the 2010 Wisconsin general election, he survived a 2012 recall election and was reelected governor in the 2014 Wisconsin gubernatorial election. He also served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and as the Milwaukee County Executive.
Born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Walker was raised in Iowa and in Delavan, Wisconsin, before attending Marquette University. He left Marquette before graduating to take a full-time job with the American Red Cross. Walker was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1992, representing a district in western Milwaukee County. In 2002, Walker was elected County Executive in a special election following the resignation of F. Thomas Ament; he was elected for a full term in 2004 and was reelected in 2008, defeating state Senator Lena Taylor.
Walker campaigned for Governor of Wisconsin in 2006 and ran again in 2010, defeating Democrat Tom Barrett in the general election. Shortly after his inauguration in 2011, Walker introduced a budget plan which limited the collective bargaining of most Wisconsin public employees. The response to Walker's policies included protests at the Wisconsin State Capitol and an effort to recall Walker. In the 2012 recall election, Walker again defeated Barrett, becoming the first American governor to survive a recall effort. In 2014, Walker defeated his Democratic challenger, businesswoman and Madison school board member Mary Burke. Walker was a candidate for his party's nomination to the 2016 presidential election.
Demetri Evan Martin (born May 25, 1973) is an American comedian, actor, artist, musician, writer, and humorist. He is best known for his work as a stand-up comedian, being a contributor on The Daily Show, and his Comedy Central show Important Things with Demetri Martin.
Martin was born on May 25, 1973 to a Greek American family in New York City, New York, the son of nutritionist Lillian and Greek Orthodox priest Dean C. Martin (now deceased). He grew up in Toms River, New Jersey, and has a younger brother named Spyro.
Martin graduated from Yale University in 1995. During his time there, he wrote a 224-word poem about alcoholism as a project for a fractal geometry class, which became a well known palindromic poem. He was also a member of the Anti-Gravity Society, whose members juggle objects on Sunday evenings on Yale's Old Campus.
Although Martin was accepted into Harvard Law School, he went to New York University School of Law after he received a full scholarship. Martin withdrew from law school before the start of his final year, opting to pursue comedy over finishing his Juris Doctor.

This in an interview between Scott and Stuart Maconie for his BBC 6 radio show 'Freak Zone'. Although the interview was conducted in late 2012 it was broadcast in January 2013 to help celebrate Scott's 70th birthday.
Rare 20 minute BBC documentary from 1995 that was used to promote 'Tilt'. Contains interview footage from Scott ('95) and journalists offering their opinions of him, and what looks like abandoned promo videos from the 'Tilt' album. A particular highlight is Scott conversing with a fan on the phone from the mid-70's as she tries to understand what 'Plastic Palace People' is about - Scott is having none of it!
Scott interviewed by his friend Jarvis Cocker on BBC Radio 6. This was broadcast on the 2nd December 2012 to help promote Bish Bosch. From a newspaper interview around this time it was mentioned that Scott had a biking accident and damaged a tooth - this may explain the sibilance in his speech.
Until now hard to find radio interview between legendary singer/songwriter Scott Walker and Alan Bangs for the German program 'Night Flights'. This was broadcast in 1984 and offers a revealing insight into Scott. Use google translate to read some background to this interview: http://www.cologneshark.com/nightflight-01-04-1984/

Tilt is the twelfth studio album by the American solo artist Scott Walker. It was released on 8 May 1995 and reached number 27 on the UK albums chart. No singles were released from the album. It was Walker's first studio album in eleven years. Walker composed the songs for the album between 1991 and 1992 except "Manhattan", which was written in 1987, and the final song "Rosary", which was composed in 1993. The album was recorded at RAK Recording Studios and Townhouse Studios in the UK and its release had been expected as early as 1992, but was not completed until 1995. The album is the first installment of a "trilogy" that went on to include The Drift (2006) and Bish Bosch (2012)

It's a beautiful night
From here to those stars
Feathers on the sides
Of my fingers
It's a beautiful night
From here to those
Trembling stars
And the feathers so
Fresh
And the nerves so
Fresh
Do you swear
The breastbone
Was bare
I saw it
And made my
Escape
Do you have
Any doubt
That he slept
In that bed
I can only repeat
I never saw
Better listen
Before you fly
All over your
Better listen
Before i spill
You in
If you could
Turn on your
Side
Move your touch
To that hip
Easy now
Easy now
It's a beautiful
Night
Garcia
A cigarette
For the
Prisoner
That ribbon crack
Like this one and
This one crack like
Those over there and
Those over there crack
Like these two
Bringing those strutters
Bringing those strutters
And that one cracks
Like these do and
These do just like
This over here and
This over here
And out on the rim
All the calcium planets
Growing in
The darkness
All over the
Body
The flapping body
Clickety click
Clickety
Click
I have a greenlight
For fifty thousand
It was the month of
July
We had more in or
Going out
You were responsible
For rolling stock
I acn only repeat
I never saw him
In bed
Do you know what
Happened to most
Of the children
She opened the
Tent
To take a morset
Of air
Before the sun
