Ladies & Gentlemen... Miss Grace Jones! Grace Jones gives a wild book signing at Barnes and Noble in NYC Oct 1, 2015. 'I'll Never Write My Memoirs' gets an overwhelming response by the over 700 fans that flocked to the grand event. Before the signing, the Queen of Pop/Funk bares all to the photographers at the press shoot. She arrived... about 2 hours late. They canceled the interview talk part, but did the book signing. She was really taking her time with everyone including taking breaks to hug friends she saw in the crowd. Good thing we got our book signed early on, maybe 30 +/- people before us? She sold out all 700 books, so I think this event went on for a while. When we got to her, she was drinking champagne, and already seemed a little drunk... She kept talking with Branden,...

THURSDAY, JUNE 12 – 7:30 (Program I) & 10 PM (Program II) TUESDAY, JUNE 24 – 7:30 (Program II) & 10 PM (Program I) In 1973, filmmaker Anton Perich, the legendary Candy Darling and Taylor Mead, and the Broadway actor Craig Vandenburgh went to a nice apartment on Central Park West to make a film. The apartment belonged to the art collector Sam Green and the walls were groaning with Warhols. Perich came up with a simple scenario: Taylor Mead would play a decadent and perverse wall street type, Candy his socialite daughter. As the film opens, Craig Vanderbilt plays the piano for Candy while she screams “Play!” and strikes the instrument with her high heeled shoe. From there, everything is improvised. Before the night is through, Candy and Craig have split, Taylor Mead sits on the stairs, sing...

Tain't no big thing
To wait for the bell to ring
Tain't no big thing
The toll of the bell
Aggravated, spare for days
Stroll downtown in the red light place
Jump up, bubble up, what's in store?
Love is the drug and I need to score
Showing out, showing out, hit and run
Boy meets girl and the beat goes on
Stitched up tight, can't stay free
Love is the drug, got a hook on me
Oh, catch that buzz
Love is the drug that I'm thinking of
Yeah, can't you see?
Love is the drug for me
Tain't no big thing
To wait for the bell to ring
Tain't no big thing
The toll of the bell
Late that night I park my car
Stake my place in the singles bar
Face to face, toe to toe
Heart to heart as we hit the floor
Limbo up, limbo down
Locked embrace, stumble round
I say, "Go", he say, "Yes"
Dim the lights, you can guess the rest
Yeah, catch that buzz
Love is the drug that I'm thinking of
Yeah, can't you see?
Love is the drug for me
Tain't no big thing
To wait for the bell to ring
Ain't no big thing
The toll of the bell
Aggravated, spare for days
I stroll downtown in the red light place

Tain't no big thing
