Ars Technica (/ˌɑːrz ˈtɛknᵻkə/; Latin-derived for the "art of technology") is a technology news and information website created by Ken Fisher and Jon Stokes in 1998. It publishes news, reviews, and guides on issues such as computer hardware and software, science, technology policy, and video games. Many of the site's writers are postgraduates and some work for research institutions. Articles on the website are written in a less-formal tone than those in traditional journals.
Ars Technica was privately owned until May 2008, when it was sold to Condé Nast Digital, the online division of Condé Nast Publications. Condé Nast purchased the site, along with two others, for $25 million and added it to the company's Wired Digital group, which also includes Wired and, formerly, Reddit. Most of the website's staff work from home; a significant number work in Chicago, Illinois, and the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
Ars Technica's operations are funded primarily by online advertising, and it has offered a paid subscription service since 2001. The website generated controversy in 2009 when it experimentally prevented users who used advertisement-blocking software from viewing the site.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is a series of military tactical shooter video games published by Ubisoft.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon has also been novelized by Grant Blackwood under the pseudonym David Michaels.
In the series, the player is in charge of a fictional, newly conceived squad of U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers from Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (5th SFG) stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Except for the "1st Battalion, 5th SFG" designation, this unit is entirely fictional, as Special Forces Battalions currently only support three Companies (A, B and C). They are often referred to as "the Ghosts". Their role is not unlike other real world special operations forces, in that their operations are kept highly classified. In Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, it is shown that the Ghost's unit has multiple designations and is part of JSOC and is also known as the Group for Specialized Tactics (or GST - where the term "Ghost" comes from) much like real JSOC units like Delta Force (1st SFOD-D or CAG) and SEAL Team Six (or DEVGRU).
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is an upcoming cyberpunk-themed action role-playing video game—combining first-person shooter, stealth and role-playing elements—developed by Eidos Montreal and published by Square Enix as a sequel to the 2011 Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Set two years after Human Revolution, Mankind Divided features the return of Adam Jensen, with new technology and body augmentations. It is played from the first-person perspective, with a third-person perspective cover system.
After the Panchaea Incident, millions of augmented people mindlessly attacked so-called 'naturals'. People are now more against augmentations than before, an attitude that has been encouraged and given fire by the machinations of the Illuminati, causing the augmented to become persecuted globally. Mankind Divided is set in 2029 in the Czech Republic capital Prague, two years after the events of Human Revolution. Adam Jensen returns as the protagonist, working with an international coalition to stop terrorist attacks. Jensen must deal with terrorist groups demanding equality for augmented individuals as well as the shadowy interests behind the events of the past two years and who control his own organization.
Deus Ex is a cyberpunk-themed action role-playing video game—combining first-person shooter, stealth and role-playing elements—developed by Ion Storm and published by Eidos Interactive in 2000. First published for personal computers running Microsoft Windows, Deus Ex was later ported to Mac OS systems and PlayStation 2. Set in a dystopian world during the year 2052, the central plot follows rookie United Nations Anti-Terrorist Coalition agent JC Denton, as he sets out to combat terrorist forces, which have become increasingly prevalent in a world slipping ever further into chaos. As the plot unfolds, Denton becomes entangled in a deep and ancient conspiracy, encountering organizations such as Majestic 12, the Illuminati and the Hong Kong Triads during his journey.
The game received universal critical acclaim, including repeatedly being named "Best PC Game of All Time" in PC Gamer's "Top 100 PC Games" in 2011 and in a poll carried out by UK gaming magazine PC Zone. It was a frequent candidate for and winner of Game of the Year awards, drawing praise for its pioneering designs in player choice and multiple narrative paths. It has sold more than 1 million copies, as of April 23, 2009. The game has spawned both a sequel, Deus Ex: Invisible War, released in 2003, and a prequel, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, released in 2011.

Hear what Steve, with ALS/MND, says about the speech generating device Tobii Dynavox I-15+, part of the I-Series+. He uses it to remain in work, communicate with his wife and friends, and play with his two sons Charlie and Maxwell. He even uses the I-15+ to run his own micro brewery. Steve is particularly fond of the "dwell free typing", a function that allows him to type really quickly.
A short video that explains the basics of how Tobii Dynavox eye tracking works and what makes our technology different from others. As a concept, eye tracking is a rather straight forward process. - The eye tracker sends out near infrared light - The light is reflected in your eyes - Those reflections are picked up by the eye tracker’s cameras - Through filtering and calculations the eye tracker knows where you are looking As simple as the concept may be, an enormous amount of research and development has gone into Tobii Dynavox eye trackers to make them work in a simple and unobtrusive way.

Tobii (http://tobiigaming.com/) were kind enough to send me one of their new eyetracking peripherals, these let you control the camera in games like Elite: Dangerous (and more) just by looking around the screen. It's an alternative to TrackIR which has the advantage of not requiring you to wear tracking hardware on your head. This model is the Eyetrack 4C, unlike earlier models it's moved much of the tracking processing into the hardware and has reduced the connection requirements to USB 2 Find out more at http://tobiigaming.com/ Disclosure: these guys sent me this for free, other than that they didn't pay me money for this video.
There's war in the heavens
Rebellion on high
the son of the morning
Descends from a black sky
Severed and broken
His wings burned to dust
His coverings of diamonds and gold
In a moment in time dissolve to rust
Thunder and lightning
Shatter the night
The dragon of darkness
Appears cursed by the keeper of the light
The dark is chosen
The scroll has been sealed
Hidden in verses of prophets
His face is revealed
Songs of glory
Shout across the land
I can take you there
Child of mine, take my hand
Down through the ages
The story's been told
The daughter of wisdom
Beguiled by the serpent of old
Born into sin in a valley of thorns
Torn from enchantment and
Tossed into the eye of the storm
Heaven's garden
Made by God for man
This is paradise
Child of mine, take my hand
Glory to glory
Sin after sin
The rider of death
Pushes on to the place where
The battle must begin
Songs of glory
Shout across the land
This is paradise
Won't you take my hand
Heaven's garden
Made by God for man
This is paradise
Child of mine, take my hand
Oh, take my hand
