Nandan Nilekani, who shaped the world's largest biometric database with India's Aadhaar project, is confident that the government's ban on 500 and 1,000 rupee notes will ensure financial inclusion surges. Mr Nilekani, co-founder of IT giant Infosys, predicated digital transactions will escalate considerably in the next 3-6 months to a rate that would otherwise have taken "3 to 6 years." Mr Nilekani said that any short-term contraction in economic growth will be compensated for very quickly "with digitization."
Aadhaar, which assigns a unique identity (UID) to every citizen linked to their biometrics, is key to helping rural India open zero-balance or Jan Dhan bank accounts and to avail of direct cash transfers to the poor through welfare schemes.
In 2014, Mr Nilekani ran unsuccessfully for parliament as a Congress candidate from Bengaluru.
"The credit for creating the Aadhaar system goes to the UPA government, Dr Manmohan Singh," said Mr Nilekani, referring to the former Prime Minister. "At the same time, am grateful to PM Modi because he has taken what was built and applied it to so many schemes...this government took it forward," he said about how the Aadhaar project has been increasingly utilized.
"A lot will depend on the next three months. If they accelerate digitization... long-term, it will be a very good development," he said.

Nandan Nilekani
Nandan Nilekani (born 2 June 1955) is an Indian entrepreneur, bureaucrat and politician. He was the Chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). After a successful career at Infosys, he headed the Government of India's technology committee, TAGUP. He is a member of Indian National Congress but not active in politics as of 2015.
Early life
Nandan Nilekani was born on 2 June 1955 at Bangalore, Karnataka. His parents Durga and Mohan Rao Nilekani are from Konkani Brahmin community originally from Sirsi town in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka His father worked as a general manager of Mysore and Minerva Mills and subscribed to Fabian Socialist ideals that influenced Nilekani in his early years. Nilekani's elder brother, Vijay, works in the Nuclear Energy Institute.
Nilekani studied at the Bishop Cotton Boys' School and St. Joseph High School Dharwad, Karnataka PU College Dharwad and received a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai.

Meera Nandan
Meera Nandan is an Indian actress who works in the South Indian film industry. She started her career as a television host in Malayalam television and went on to become an actress, mostly appearing in Malayalam language films.
Early life
Meera Nandan was born as Meera Nandakumar on 26 November 1990 as the daughter of Nandakumar and Maya at Perandoor, Elamakkara, Kochi. She has a younger brother Arjun Nandakumar. She did her schooling in Bhavans Vidya Mandir. After completing her degree in English literature from St. Teresa's College Ernakulam, she is pursuing her masters in Mass Communication with Journalism through distant education from Manipal University. Actress Divya Unni is a distant relative of her.
Career
Meera first appearance before the camera was in an advertisement for Mohanlal's Taste Buds. In 2007, she auditioned as a competitor in Idea Star Singer aired on Asianet Television but was selected as an anchor for the programme. She was anchoring television programmes on Amrita TV and Jeevan TV, too.

Hanuman
Hanuman (/ˈhʌnʊˌmɑːn, ˈhɑːnʊ-, ˌhʌnʊˈmɑːn, ˌhɑːnʊ-/; Hanumān in IAST); also known as Mahavira or Bajrangbali, is a Hindu god and an ardent devotee of the god Rama. He is a central character in the Hindu epic Ramayana and its various versions. He is also mentioned in several other texts, including Mahabharata, the various Puranas and some Jain texts. A vanara (monkey), Hanuman participated in Rama's war against the demon king Ravana. Several texts also present him as an incarnation of the god Shiva. He is the son of Anjana and Kesari, and is also described as the son of the wind-god Vayu, who according to several stories, played a role in his birth.
Etymology and other names
The Sanskrit texts mention several legends about how Hanuman got his name. One legend is that Indra, the king of the gods, struck Hanuman's jaw during his childhood (see below). The child received his name from the Sanskrit words Hanu ("jaw") and -man (or -mant, "prominent" or "disfigured"). The name thus means "one with prominent or disfigured jaw". Another theory says the name derives from the Sanskrit words Han ("killed" or "destroyed") and maana (pride); the name implies "one whose pride was destroyed". Some Jain texts mention that Hanuman spent his childhood on an island called Hanuruha, which is the origin of his name.

Plot: After watching his father, Masterji, getting killed; his sister, Laxmi, getting sexually assaulted by Sangram Singh, Dharamdas and Nandan, and then killing herself; and his younger brother, Munna, being thrown in a river, Ajit swears to avenge this during this lifetime. He starts by killing Nandan the very next day, and then absconding to Bombay, where he takes to crime with the help of Mohan. Years later Ajit has accumulated a lot of wealth through crime, is known as Rajasaab and also as Shaki Lutera. He still thirsts for revenge and does get a chance to kill the second of the three assailants, namely Dharamdas, but Sangram Singh continues to elude him. One day when his vehicle breaks down, a young man comes to fix it. Ajit notices that he has the same tattoo as his and is overjoyed to be reunited with his younger brother. Ajit does not know that the man claiming to be his brother is none other than Sangram Singh's only son, who wants to find out about Ajit's weaknesses and then ultimately kill him. The question remains where is the real Munna, and why has he not been found yet?

Nandan Nilekani, who shaped the world's largest biometric database with India's Aadhaar project, is confident that the government's ban on 500 and 1,000 rupee notes will ensure financial inclusion surges. Mr Nilekani, co-founder of IT giant Infosys, predicated digital transactions will escalate considerably in the next 3-6 months to a rate that would otherwise have taken "3 to 6 years." Mr Nilekani said that any short-term contraction in economic growth will be compensated for very quickly "with digitization." In 2014, Mr Nilekani ran unsuccessfully for parliament as a Congress candidate from Bengaluru.
"The credit for creating the Aadhaar system goes to the UPA government, Dr Manmohan Singh," said Mr Nilekani, referring to the former Prime Minister. "At the same time, am grateful to PM Modi because he has taken what was built and applied it to so many schemes...this government took it forward," he said about how the Aadhaar project has been increasingly utilized.
"A lot will depend on the next three months. If they accelerate digitization... long-term, it will be a very good development," he said.
