When it comes to liter-class streetfighters, Europe's been putting the Japanese contenders to shame. Granted, with the KTM 1290 Super Duke R, BMW S1000R, and Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 ruling the roost, this is a tough nut to crack. However, leave it to the tuning fork brand to bring an answer: the 2017 Yamaha FZ-10 (or MT-10 for our Euro viewers). Sharing the awesome Crossplane crankshaft engine from the current R1, Yamaha has made some changes to bring the power back to the midrange, where street riders use it most. Frame and suspension remain the same, and although the hi-tech IMU on the R1 isn't here, the FZ-10 isn't hurting in the tech department. Yamaha brought Motorcycle.com's Troy Siahaan out to the (in)famous Tail of the Dragon on the North Carolina/Tennessee border to put the bike to the test. What does he think of it? Głośnik bezprzewodowy - słysząc ten termin większości z Was (tak jak i mi) przychodzi na myśl nieduży głośnik z modułem bluetooth, który w łatwy sposób łączy się ze smartfonem lub tabletem, pozwalając na odsłuch muzyki. Yamaha Corporation (ヤマハ株式会社, Yamaha Kabushiki Gaisha) (/jəˈmɑːhə/ or /ˈjɑːməhə/; Japanese pronunciation: [yamaha]) is a Japanese multinational corporation and conglomerate based in Japan with a very wide range of products and services, predominantly musical instruments, electronics, motorcycles and power sports equipment.
History
Yamaha was established in 1887 as a piano and reed organ manufacturer by Torakusu Yamaha as Nippon Gakki Company, Limited (日本楽器製造株式会社, Nippon Gakki Seizō Kabushiki Kaisha) (literally Japan Musical Instrument Manufacturing Corporation) in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka prefecture and was incorporated on October 12, 1897. The company's origins as a musical instrument manufacturer is still reflected today in the group's logo—a trio of interlocking tuning forks.
After World War II, company president Genichi Kawakami repurposed the remains of the company's war-time production machinery and the company's expertise in metallurgical technologies to the manufacture of motorcycles. The YA-1 (AKA Akatombo, the "Red Dragonfly"), of which 125 were built in the first year of production (1954), was named in honour of the founder. It was a 125cc, single cylinder, two-stroke, street bike patterned after the German DKW RT125 (which the British munitions firm, BSA, had also copied in the post-war era and manufactured as the Bantam and Harley-Davidson as the Hummer. In 1955, the success of the YA-1 resulted in the founding of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

Yamaha YZ450F
The Yamaha YZ450F is a four-stroke racing motocross bike built by Yamaha Motor Corporation. It was the successor to the previous YZ426F which was discontinued in 2003. It is credited by Cycle World and Dirt Rider magazines as the bike that started the four-stroke dirt bike revolution. It is a replacement for the YZ250, which is slowly being phased out. The 2006 YZ250F and YZ450F were the first production motorcycles equipped with titanium suspension springs.
The WR450F is the enduro version of the YZ450F.
Introduction
For many years, the motocross world almost exclusively used two-stroke engines. AMA racing classes had two classes: 125 cc and 250 cc two-strokes, with no provision for four strokes. Most riders considered four-stroke engine technology to be largely utilitarian and uncompetitive, relegated solely for trail riding.
In 1996, the AMA changed racing rules to allow 450 cc four strokes to compete in the same racing class as 250 cc two-strokes. Yamaha engineer Yoshiharu Nakayama first came up with the idea of creating the first competitive four-stroke race motocross bike. The Yamaha YZ400F was developed to fit into this category. It solved the power dilemma by borrowing superbike technology and giving the YZ a five-valve head, liquid cooling and a 12.5-1 compression ratio.

2017 Yamaha FZ-10 First Ride Review
When it comes to liter-class streetfighters, Europe's been putting the Japanese contenders to shame. Granted, with the KTM 1290 Super Duke R, BMW S1000R, and Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 ruling the roost, this is a tough nut to crack. However, leave it to the tuning fork brand to bring an answer: the 2017 Yamaha FZ-10 (or MT-10 for our Euro viewers). Sharing the awesome Crossplane crankshaft engine from the current R1, Yamaha has made some changes to bring the power back to the midrange, where street riders use it most. Frame and suspension remain the same, and although the hi-tech IMU on the R1 isn't here, the FZ-10 isn't hurting in the tech department.
