Vincent Ségal, is a French cellist and bassist born in 1967 in the French city of Reims.
He is a conservatory musician from the National Music Academy of Lyon who also studied at Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada. He is mainly known for the variety of his collaborations and out of the ordinary projects. He has worked with the likes of Steve Nieve, Elvis Costello,Cesaria Evora, Blackalicious, Carlinhos Brown, the French reggae band Tryo, Franck Monnet, the experimental project Mujeres Encinta, Georges Moustaki or with Alexandre Desplat in the O.S.T. of Lust, Caution and other of his films.
In 1986 he met Cyril Atef and together formed the band Bumcello a downtempo electronica duo that obtain ample success in France as well as Victoires de la Musique award as Electronic artist of the year 2006. He has also collaborated in every Matthieu Chedid (-M-) album. In 2009 he collaborated with Sting's in his album If on a Winter's Night... for which they tour together. In October of the same year he recorded, in the studio of Salif Keïta in Mali, the collaboration album Chamber Music with Ballaké Sissoko The collaboration has had a great success, Sissoko and Ségal have been touring together for the past couple of years.
Piers Faccini (born Piers Damian G. Faccini; 1970) is an English singer, painter and songwriter.
Piers Faccini was born in London, England to an Italian father and an English mother. His family moved to France when he was five years old.
Faccini first appeared on the music scene in London in 1997, co-founding Charley Marlowe with performance poet Francesca Beard, percussionist Frank Byng and guitarist Luc Suarez; the band split in 2001 when Faccini decided to pursue a solo career. His first solo album Leave no Trace was released in 2004 by French Independent label Label Bleu. His second album was released by Los Angeles label Everloving Records in 2006; Tearing Sky was produced by JP Plunier, and featured Ben Harper, who Faccini would tour with between 2006 and 2008. His third album released by French Independent 'Tot ou Tard' in 2009 was co-produced by Faccini and Renaud Letang. His fourth album, My Wilderness, was released in late 2011 Six Degrees Records. His upcoming fifth album, Between dogs and wolves, will be released in late 2013 on his own label Beating Drum.
Catrin Anna Finch (born 1980) is a Welsh harpist, arranger and composer. She was the Official Harpist to the Prince of Wales from 2000 to 2004 and is Visiting Professor at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and the Royal Academy of Music. Finch has given many recitals at different venues throughout the world.
Finch was born in Llanon, Ceredigion, and began learning the harp at the age of six. She was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain at the age of ten, becoming the youngest of its members to play at The Proms. She studied harp with Elinor Bennett, who would become her mother-in-law.
In 2000, she won the Young Concert Artists International Auditions in New York City, subsequently performing at London's Wigmore Hall. She was later appointed Official Harpist to the Prince of Wales, an office unfilled since the reign of Queen Victoria.
In recognition of her musical achievements, Finch was awarded an Honorary Fellowship from the University of Wales in 2006, as well as Honorary Fellowships from the University of Wales and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2005.

Almost 25 years ago, I was walking down West 4th street in Manhattan, and heard a harp-like sound that seemed extraordinarily out of place in the urban noise surrounding me. I tried to locate the source, and eventually realized it was emanating from three tall, slender men in robes who were sauntering up the block ahead of me. I sped up my pace and as I got abreast of them, saw that one of them was playing what I learned later was a kora, as he strolled. And it seemed as if something magical was happening; the instrument changed the environment surrounding the three, as people were calmed and drawn to the sound.
