Haruki Kadokawa (角川 春樹, Kadokawa Haruki, born January 8, 1942 in Tokyo) is a Japanese publisher, film producer, director and screenwriter. He was the son of Genyoshi Kadokawa and inherited the position of president of the publishing house Kadokawa Shoten in 1975. Under his guidance, the company soon branched into film production, and by 1994 Kadokawa had produced close to 60 films, many of them box-office hits. After being forced to resign from Kadokawa Shoten in 1994 due to a smuggling conviction, he established another company, Kadokawa Haruki Corporation, that has also been involved in the publishing and film production industries.
Haruki's father was Genyoshi Kadokawa, the founder of Japanese publishing house Kadokawa Shoten. After graduating from high school, Haruki was accepted into the literature department of Waseda University. However, with his father's influence, he was enrolled in Kokugakuin University instead. Haruki graduated in 1964 with a degree in literature and joined his father's company the next year.
Total war is warfare that includes any and all civilian-associated resources and infrastructure as legitimate military targets, and typically involves the use of weapons and tactics that result in significant civilian or other non-combatant casualties, whether collateral damage or not. American-English Dictionary defines "total war" as "war that is unrestricted in terms of the weapons used, the territory or combatants involved, or the objectives pursued, especially one in which the laws of war are disregarded." The term can also be applied when the war effort requires significant sacrifices by most of the friendly civilian population.
In the mid-19th century, scholars identified "total war" as a separate class of warfare. In a total war, to an extent inapplicable to less total conflicts, the differentiation between combatants and non-combatants diminishes and even sometimes vanishes entirely as opposing sides can consider nearly every human resource, even that of non-combatants, as nevertheless part of the war effort.
This is a list of albums attributed to the anime adaptation The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya based on the Haruhi Suzumiya light novel series. There have been three soundtrack singles released for the anime containing the opening, ending, and insert songs featured in the anime series. Three radio drama CDs were released, along with a single which contained the theme songs to the radio dramas. A drama CD was also produced and the final track on the CD contained an original music track. There are nine additional character song albums sung by the voice actors for not only the five main characters in the series, but four other minor characters were also given mini albums.
"Bōken Desho Desho?" (冒険でしょでしょ?, Bōken Desho Desho?, lit. "It's an adventure, right? Right?") is the opening theme to the Japanese anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, as well as the movie, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. It ranked #10 in CD sales on amazon.co.jp when the single was released.
Haruhi Suzumiya (涼宮ハルヒ, Suzumiya Haruhi) is the general name for a series of light novels written by Nagaru Tanigawa and illustrated by Noizi Ito and which were adapted into other media. Initially released in Japan in 2003 with the novel The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, it was followed by ten additional volumes, an anime television series adaptation, four separate manga series, an animated film, two original net animation series and several video games.
After the anime adaptation airing in 2006, publishing company Kadokawa Shoten received various offers for licensing both the novels and their various adaptations. The novels are licensed for English language release in the United States by Little, Brown and Company, for young readers by Yen Press and the anime adaptation was licensed for North American distribution by Kadokawa Pictures USA division which then sub-licensed production and distribution to Bandai Entertainment. The anime is currently licensed by Funimation.

※ アニサマ2017 SOS団 復活おめでとう The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya God knows... (by Aya Hirano) God knows... Lyrics (English Translation) I run past you with a thirsty heart. Sorry, I couldn't do anything- you won't even let us share our pain with each other. In order to live purely I face your back and leave without turning back. on the lonely rail I'll follow you. No matter where you are in the darkness of this bitter world you will shine, and exceed the limits of the future. To prevent your spirit from being broken because of your weakness you converge with my way. Now, God bless us... I send my now passionate feelings- they melt reality, then just hover there suspended. There's no reason for me wanting to see you. I pour my feelings into you, lovin' you Let's at least...
