У пышненькой тридцатилетней Кати — трагедия. Любимый человек оказался обыкновенным бабником (у него еще две любовницы и одна жена!) 6 лет, в течение которых Катя ожидала замужества, пошли насмарку. Подруги решают ей помочь — найти по Интернету выгодного жениха, и обязательно за рубежом. При этом они заставляют Катю заняться своей внешностью - похудеть и эффектно одеться. В это же время «потенциальная невеста» знакомится с новым сотрудником Ильей, и они очень быстро становяться друзьями. Более того, вскоре между ними возникают нежные отношения.
Thirty years old and seriously overweight, Katya is distraught to discover that her boyfriend of six years has a wife (and two lovers on the side!) and that she has therefore been waiting in vain all this time for him to propose to her. Her friends suggest that she look for an eligible, rich foreigner on the internet, at the same time persuading her to lose weight, buy some nice clothes and make more of an effort with her appearance. This soon attracts the attentions of Ilya, a new colleague at work. They quickly become friends and, while Ilya would like to take their relationship further, Katya's friends think she could do better and convince her to set up a date with Lion, a successful American businessman, whom she met on the internet and who has just arrived in Moscow on a business trip.

Utilizing creative and concrete tools in this fun and interactive workshop by Queery, participants can enhance their school-based and organizational primary violence prevention projects. Although Queery’s art-based education programs are designed by and for the LGBTQ+ BIPOC communities, the underlying concepts can be used across a variety of violence prevention platforms.
Queery’s name comes from the combination of the sociological critical lens called “Queer Theory.” Queer theories may be queer-centric, however they offer the general public ways to be more authentically ourselves by peeling away social constructs. And like any of the sciences, through asking questions we find more authenticity.
Curious? Join us to learn about Queery, queer theory and the variety of art-based and technological tools we have used to engage today’s audiences. Also, each participant will leave the session with an action plan they can use with their organization, along with knowledge of how to make spaces more inviting for LGBTQ+ BIPOC people.
Who should attend: preventionist, advocates, managers, therapists
Priority registration will be given to Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) sexual assault services and prevention grantees [and Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Program (WCSAP) members]. All other registrants will be admitted on a space available basis. Registration is subject to the approval of WCSAP.

Michael Mina, MD, PhD responds to questions about how cheap (approx. $1), at-home, COVID-19 tests (results in 15 minutes) could be utilized to dramatically slow the spread of this pandemic (and open up schools etc. in a faster and safer way).
Dr. Mina is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health and a core member of the Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics. Dr. Mina's research has demonstrated that the sensitivity of these simple daily quick tests (the technology already exists) is high enough to detect the vast majority of infectious COVID-19 and could be utilized frequently at home with a nasal or saliva sample.

Once A Week (magazine)
Once A Week (1859–1880) was an English weekly illustrated literary magazine published by Bradbury and Evans. According to John Sutherland, "[h]istorically the magazine's main achievement was to provide an outlet for [an] innovative group of illustrators [in] the 1860s."
History and profile
The magazine was founded in consequence of a dispute between Bradbury and Evans and Charles Dickens. Bradbury and Evans had been Dickens' publisher since 1844, including publishing his magazine Household Words. In 1859, Bradbury and Evans refused to carry an advertisement by Dickens explaining why he had broken with Mrs. Dickens. In consequence, Dickens stopped work on Household Words and founded a new magazine, All The Year Round, which he decided would be editorially independent of any publisher. Bradbury and Evans responded by founding Once A Week, with veteran editor and abolitionist hero Samuel Lucas at the head.
The magazine was different from Household Words in that it was more expensive and it was illustrated. Notable illustrators included John Leech, Hablot K. Browne, Frederick Sandys, Holman Hunt, John Tenniel and George du Maurier. Notable writers included Mark Lemon, Shirley Brooks and Tom Taylor. Many of the illustrators and writers also worked for Punch, another Bradbury and Evans literary magazine . The magazine's central feature was serial fiction; among other works, it published Charles Anderson Read's A Good Fight, George Meredith's Evan Harrington and Charles Felix's The Notting Hill Mystery, thought by some to be the first modern detective novel. Woman writers whose work was featured in the magazine included Harriet Martineau, Isabella Blagden, and M.E. Braddon.

Dr. Mina is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health and a core member of the Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics. Thirty years old and seriously overweight, Katya is distraught to discover that her boyfriend of six years has a wife (and two lovers on the side!) and that she has therefore been waiting in vain all this time for him to propose to her. Her friends suggest that she look for an eligible, rich foreigner on the internet, at the same time persuading her to lose weight, buy some nice clothes and make more of an effort with her appearance. This soon attracts the attentions of Ilya, a new colleague at work. They quickly become friends and, while Ilya would like to take their relationship further, Katya's friends think she could do better and convince her to set up a date with Lion, a successful American businessman, whom she met on the internet and who has just arrived in Moscow on a business trip.

Utilizing creative and concrete tools in this fun and interactive workshop by Queery, participants can enhance their school-based and organizational primary violence prevention projects. Although Queery’s art-based education programs are designed by and for the LGBTQ+ BIPOC communities, the underlying concepts can be used across a variety of violence prevention platforms.
Queery’s name comes from the combination of the sociological critical lens called “Queer Theory.” Queer theories may be queer-centric, however they offer the general public ways to be more authentically ourselves by peeling away social constructs. And like any of the sciences, through asking questions we find more authenticity.
Curious? Join us to learn about Queery, queer theory and the variety of art-based and technological tools we have used to engage today’s audiences. Also, each participant will leave the session with an action plan they can use with their organization, along with knowledge of how to make spaces more inviting for LGBTQ+ BIPOC people.
Who should attend: preventionist, advocates, managers, therapists
Priority registration will be given to Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) sexual assault services and prevention grantees [and Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Program (WCSAP) members]. Dr. Mina is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health and a core member of the Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics. Dr. Mina's research has demonstrated that the sensitivity of these simple daily quick tests (the technology already exists) is high enough to detect the vast majority of infectious COVID-19 and could be utilized frequently at home with a nasal or saliva sample.

У пышненькой тридцатилетней Кати — трагедия. Любимый человек оказался обыкновенным бабником (у него еще две любовницы и одна жена!) 6 лет, в течение которых Катя ожидала замужества, пошли насмарку. Подруги решают ей помочь — найти по Интернету выгодного жениха, и обязательно за рубежом. При этом они заставляют Катю заняться своей внешностью - похудеть и эффектно одеться. В это же время «потенциальная невеста» знакомится с новым сотрудником Ильей, и они очень быстро становяться друзьями. Более того, вскоре между ними возникают нежные отношения.
Thirty years old and seriously overweight, Katya is distraught to discover that her boyfriend of six years has a wife (and two lovers on the side!) and that she has therefore been waiting in vain all this time for him to propose to her. Her friends suggest that she look for an eligible, rich foreigner on the internet, at the same time persuading her to lose weight, buy some nice clothes and make more of an effort with her appearance. This soon attracts the attentions of Ilya, a new colleague at work. They quickly become friends and, while Ilya would like to take their relationship further, Katya's friends think she could do better and convince her to set up a date with Lion, a successful American businessman, whom she met on the internet and who has just arrived in Moscow on a business trip.

Utilizing creative and concrete tools in this fun and interactive workshop by Queery, participants can enhance their school-based and organizational primary violence prevention projects. Although Queery’s art-based education programs are designed by and for the LGBTQ+ BIPOC communities, the underlying concepts can be used across a variety of violence prevention platforms.
Queery’s name comes from the combination of the sociological critical lens called “Queer Theory.” Queer theories may be queer-centric, however they offer the general public ways to be more authentically ourselves by peeling away social constructs. And like any of the sciences, through asking questions we find more authenticity.
Curious? Join us to learn about Queery, queer theory and the variety of art-based and technological tools we have used to engage today’s audiences. Also, each participant will leave the session with an action plan they can use with their organization, along with knowledge of how to make spaces more inviting for LGBTQ+ BIPOC people.
Who should attend: preventionist, advocates, managers, therapists
Priority registration will be given to Office of Crime Victims Advocacy (OCVA) sexual assault services and prevention grantees [and Washington Coalition of Sexual Assault Program (WCSAP) members]. All other registrants will be admitted on a space available basis. Registration is subject to the approval of WCSAP.

Today I got a new cool request on Instagram asking me how to create the New Kylie Jenner look from the shoot she posted on her instagram with Greg Swale and TmrwMag. I took a look at this post for you and found out how to create this @KylieJenner inspired filter with the free Lightroom mobile app. Here is the tutorial for you to follow along.

Michael Mina, MD, PhD responds to questions about how cheap (approx. $1), at-home, COVID-19 tests (results in 15 minutes) could be utilized to dramatically slow the spread of this pandemic (and open up schools etc. in a faster and safer way).
Dr. Mina is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health and a core member of the Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics. Dr. Mina's research has demonstrated that the sensitivity of these simple daily quick tests (the technology already exists) is high enough to detect the vast majority of infectious COVID-19 and could be utilized frequently at home with a nasal or saliva sample.
