Army of the Pharaohs (most commonly abbreviated as AOTP or A.O.T.P.) is an American underground hip hop collective originating from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed by Jedi Mind Tricks MC Vinnie Paz in 1998. The group has strong links to other underground groups such as; OuterSpace, Snowgoons, La Coka Nostra, Demigodz and Jedi Mind Tricks. It has changed several times ever since its formation.
Paz formed the outfit in the late 1990s with the original roster of Bahamadia, Chief Kamachi, Virtuoso, 7L & Esoteric, plus Jedi Mind Tricks' other member Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind. The group first released the "Five Perfect Exertions" and "War Ensemble" 12" on Paz's short-lived Recordings in 1998, but then the underground supergroup remained silent for several years. After a couple of successful Jedi Mind Tricks albums and a new deal with Babygrande by 2003, Paz resurrected the crew, adding OuterSpace, Celph Titled, Reef the Lost Cauze, King Syze, Des Devious, and Apathy; however, Stoupe, Bahamadia, and Virtuoso had defected from the group. Babygrande issued their "Tear It Down" 12" and first album, The Torture Papers, in 2006. The 2007 follow-up album, Ritual of Battle, saw Jus Allah and JMT protégés Doap Nixon and Demoz joining the Pharaohs.

Jason Green (born October 24, 1976), better known as Planet Asia, is a rapper from Fresno, California. He is prominent for being one half of the now broken up hip-hop duo the Cali Agents and is currently a member of the groups Gold Chain Military and Durag Dynasty. He is also well known for his vast discography of mixtapes.
Patrick Denard Douthit (born January 15, 1975 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina), better known as 9th Wonder is a hip hop record producer, record executive, DJ, lecturer, and rapper from Durham, North Carolina, U.S. He began his career as the main producer for the group Little Brother, and has also worked with Mary J. Blige, Jean Grae, Wale, Jay-Z, Murs, Drake, Buckshot, Chris Brown, Destiny's Child, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu, Ludacris, Mac Miller, David Banner, and Lecrae. As of 2010, 9th Wonder raps under the name of 9thmatic.
9th Wonder has a smooth and soulful production style that relies on samples from artists such as Al Green and Curtis Mayfield. He attributes the bass lines that he uses in production to DJ Premier, Pete Rock and J Dilla, while he claims to have learned the sampling of "Wails and moans" from other works of music and where to position them in his songs from RZA.
9th Wonder's first significant career breakthrough came in 2003 when, as an up-and-coming producer, he released an unofficial remix album of Nas' 2002 album God's Son entitled God's Stepson. Released through internet outlets, the album garnered significant attention and acclaim. The producer has said that he was not thinking in terms of using it to generate a buzz or promote his skills at that point: "I never thought any of this of me as a producer was going to happen." The album has since been credited as starting the now regular trend for unofficial 'home-made' remixes of whole albums.

After developing their craft alongside the legendary underground phenom, Edo G, on last year's 'Confidence Presents' G dot & Born, the Boston boys are back at it in full force with "God Vibes." With it's subtle piano tones and head nodding drums, producer Ben Hedibi provides a captivating background for you to get lost in the poetry of the aforementioned Bostonians. To make the cypher complete, verbal assassin, Planet Asia illuminates the track with a middle 16 that complements the efforts of each artist in a video that shows us a day in the life of each spitter. Honkey Kong is the third studio album by American rapper Apathy, released August 23, 2011. With his third album, Honkey Kong, the Connecticut emcee backs up his tweets by crafting music that harkens back to the rap that he fell in love with years ago. As a member of Demigodz, Get Busy Committee, and Army of the Pharaohs, Apathy has reminders of raw Hip Hop around him on a daily basis. He continues to keep similarly-minded company around him on Honkey Kong, and while his legendary compatriots do their jobs, Apathy proves his understanding of their era with his own performance. When Apathy isn't reveling at the opportunity to rock alongside his idols, he's doing his best to make timeless records of his own by utilizing his arsenal of multisyllabic rhymes, relatable topics and grimy soundbeds...
Vinne Paz New Interview - Jedi Mind Tricks Full Exclusive Interview 2016 Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks interview on The Cipher 2016. Vinnie Paz founded the group Jedi Mind Tricks when he was a teenager in mid-90s Philly. His raps about politics, mythology, war, religion, conspiracy theories, and the paranormal set him apart immediately from most of the underground rap of the era. The group’s full-length debut was The Psycho-Social, Chemical, Biological & Electro-Magnetic Manipulation of Human Consciousness, a bizarre, fascinating, and uncompromising concept album. In 2000, they put out by Violent By Design, a more streamlined and aggressive record that got a lot of attention and remains a fan favorite to this day. Vinnie and Jedi Mind Tricks would continue through ups and downs, with ...

Nosturissa nähtiin hiljattain amerikkalaisen underground-räpin kokoontuminen kun Army of the Pharaohs iskeytyi lämmittämään hyistä Helsinkiä maaliskuun alussa.

Verse 1:
Work my fingers to the bones
Learn to live to forget and let go
Sometimes the faces of the past come back
It gets easy to ignore
When hope has been restore
Chorus:
So now I,
I can sing in the rain
I can love without pain
I can live everyday
With these Beautiful, beautiful things
Finally feel my heart beating
Let my lungs breath deeply
all my tears turned to dreams
of beautiful, beautiful things
Verse 2:
Temptation holds the key
To what you think you want or need
Well it takes a stronger man to stand
And learn from the past
But never go
Bridge:
Regretful heartbreaks
Well it shatters the soul
But after tearful mistakes
A mournful heart may grow
And then let go
