Veena Sood
Veena Sood is a Kenyan-born Canadian-based film and television actress of Punjabi Indian descent.
She works in both the UK and Canada. She starred in "Grace", Connie and Carla, Helen, 50/50, The Big Year, the Canada/UK film Touch of Pink, (which received a standing ovation at the Sundance Film Festival), ITV's Compulsion featuring Ray Winstone and Parminder Nagra, & the UK film Nina's Heavenly Delights. She has been seen on television in recurring roles in the series "Signed, Sealed & Delivered", Bates Motel, Saving Hope, Caprica, Little Mosque on the Prairie, Endgame, & Battlestar Galactica. She co-founded Calgary's Loose Moose Theatre Company (LMTC) best known for their Improvisational theatre work, with improv master teacher Keith Johnstone. Veena has also performed one-woman improvised shows at Canadian and U.K. comedy festivals with her character "The Maharani". She used to co-host CBC Television's women's talk show In the Company of Women.
Veena is cousin of Ashwin Sood, Sarah McLachlan's drummer and ex-husband, and sister of Manoj Sood, who played Baber on Little Mosque on the Prairie.

In this highly personal and intimate show, our remarkable guests allow improv actors to act out key moments of their lives in front of a live audience. Backed up by a musical trio who will create the soundtrack to this amazing experience, the purpose of ‘Border Crossings’ is to honour the guest and to support the audience to enter the emotional territory of their life.

He later becomes one of India's most dangerous assassins. He lives in a small apartment next to the Bali family. The father (Mohan Joshi) works for a corrupt police officer named Devraj Khatri (Ashish Vidyarthi) who works in the drug trade. Kiran Bali (Rani Mukherji) is the youngest daughter of the family and strongly dislikes them. She tries to befriend Jeeava many times, but he is too engrossed in his killing to have any time for her. One day, Kiran is in Jeeva's apartment delivering milk to him. Whilst she is there, Khatri and his men break into the Bali's apartment and kill them all - Kiran is the only one to survive as she was in Jeeva's apartment. Jeeva soon finds himself taking Kiran under his wing and so, he trains her in handling weapons to get revenge against the men who had brutally murdered her family.
