Alan Graham Carr (born 14 June 1976) is an English comedian and television personality.
Carr was born in Weymouth, Dorset, and spent most of his childhood in Northampton before moving in his early 20s to Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester, where he began his comedy career. Carr's breakthrough was in 2001, winning the City Life Best Newcomer of the Year and the BBC New Comedy Award.
In the ensuing years, his career burgeoned on the Manchester comedy circuit before he became well-known for hosting The Friday Night Project with Justin Lee Collins. This led to the release of a short-lived entertainment show Alan Carr's Celebrity Ding Dong in 2008 and, eventually, his popular comedy chat show Alan Carr: Chatty Man, which has been airing on Channel 4 since 2009.
Carr also hosted a radio show, Going Out with Alan Carr, on BBC Radio 2 for three years as well as releasing his autobiography Look Who It Is! (2008) and going on three arena tours: Tooth Fairy Live (2007), Spexy Beast Live (2011) and Yap, Yap, Yap! (2015).

Alan Carr: Chatty Man (also simply known as Chatty Man) is a BAFTA award-winningBritish comedy chat show presented by comedian Alan Carr. The show features interviews with celebrity guests, sketches, topical chat and music.
The show was first on as two pilots in late May 2009; it proved popular with the public and was commissioned for a series. The first episode drew in a total of 2.15 million viewers. To date, the show has broadcast 15 series and 170 episodes. The eleventh series consisted of 18 episodes, making it the longest series to date. A new series began airing on 30 August 2013. In 2013, Carr signed a two-year contract extension with Channel 4. The exclusive deal will see him staying at the channel until 2015 in a new deal worth £4 million.
In continental Europe and Scandinavia, Alan Carr: Chatty Man is shown on BBC Entertainment a week behind the UK. Old episodes are being aired on 4Music.
A structural difference from other British chat shows is that while the guests for each episode of Chatty Man all film on the same day, there is rarely any on-screen interaction between the guests. A guest will be introduced and be interviewed, and then they are almost always gone when the next guest comes out. An advantage to this process is that Carr is able to pre-tape interviews with certain guests. If a particular guest is unavailable to be interviewed on the chosen week, an interview can be pre-taped and slotted in during the next week's editing. Often, at the end of a series, the final episode can be made up of three pre-taped interviews (as well as a musical performance) filmed earlier in that particular series' run, thus eliminating one tape date.

Lee Evans on BBC Radio 2 - Chat to Chris Evans (Part 2)
Got a three second memory,
I live for now 'n nobodys reserve to be,
Yeah that's me,
I got a three second memory,
Whatever you tell me....it's gone in three,
Yeah Cest la vie.
Well I never get the feeling,
There's anything that I'm missing,
I'm way too busy living my life, it's such a strife,
I don't try to think about,
The ins or the outs,
I'm way too busy trying to figure out the here and now,
Yeah what's that all about.
If I gotta choose,
I get all confused,
Haven't got a clue, ahhh of anything that's new,
Or who the hell is who,
If I gotta choose,
I get all bemused,
The moment I lose, the time to just muse, just be amused.
I never get the feeling,
There's anything that I'm missing,
I'm way to busy living my life, life is such a strife,
I don't try to think about,
The ins or the outs,
I'm way too busy trying to figure out the here and now,
Yeah what's that all about.
I got no plans,
For my life span,
Whenever I can, ahhh I flim and I flam,
Yeah I sing and I yang,
I got no plans,
'cause I don't understand,
Whenever I can, Oooh I sing a song that I sang,
The one I just began.
I never get the feeling,
There's anything that I'm missing,
I'm way too busy living my life, it's such a strife,
I don't try to think about,
The ins or the outs,
Im way too busy trying to figure out the here and now,
Yeah what's that all about...
Dooo, do do, dooo dooo dooo dooo dooo, Oooh
Dooo, be do, do be do be do, Oooh.
I never get the feeling,
There's anything that I'm missing,
I'm way too busy living my life, life is such a strife,
I don't try to think about,
The ins or the outs,
I'm way to busy trying to figure out the here and now,
Yeah what's that all about....
