Montreal (i/ˌmʌntriːˈɒl/;French: Montréal,pronounced: [mɔ̃ʁeal]) is the largest city in the Canadian province of Quebec. It is the second largest city in Canada and the 26th largest in the Americas. Originally called Ville-Marie, or "City of Mary," it is named after Mount Royal, the triple-peaked hill in the heart of the city. The city is on the Island of Montreal, which took its name from the same source as the city, and a few much smaller peripheral islands, the largest of which is Île Bizard. It has a distinct four-season continental climate with warm to hot summers and cold snowy winters.
In 2011 the city had a population of 1,649,519. Montreal's metropolitan area had a population of 3,824,221 and a population of 1,886,481 in the urban agglomeration, with all of the municipalities on the Island of Montreal included. The 2014 estimate of the population of the metropolitan area of Montreal is 4.1 million.
French is the city's official language and is the language spoken at home by 56.9% of the population of the city, followed by English at 18.6% and 19.8% other languages (in the 2006 census). In the larger Montreal Census Metropolitan Area, 67.9% of the population speaks French at home, compared to 16.5% who speak English. Montreal is one of the most bilingual cities in Quebec and Canada with 56% of the population able to speak both English and French. Montreal is the second largest primarily French-speaking city in the world, after Paris.
"You Will" was an AT&T marketing campaign from the early 1990s directed by David Fincher. Each ad presented a futuristic scenario beginning with "Have you ever…" and ending with "…you will. And the company that will bring it to you: AT&T."
The ads were narrated by Tom Selleck; one sequence of a mother smiling at her baby through a video call featured future star Jenna Elfman.
The proposed innovations included:

Canada (i/ˈkænədə/; French: [ka.na.da]) is a country in the northern part of North America. Its ten provinces and three territories extend from the Atlantic to the Pacific and northward into the Arctic Ocean, covering 9.98 million square kilometres (3.85 million square miles), making it the world's second-largest country by total area and the fourth-largest country by land area. Canada's border with the United States is the world's longest land border. Canada is sparsely populated, the majority of its land territory being dominated by forest and tundra and the Rocky Mountains; about four-fifths of the country's population of 35 million people live near the southern border. The majority of Canada has a cold or severely cold winter climate, but southerly areas are warm in summer.
The land now called Canada has been inhabited for millennia by various Aboriginal peoples. Beginning in the 15th century, British and French colonies were established on the Atlantic coast, with the first establishment of a region called "Canada" occurring in 1537. As a consequence of various conflicts, the United Kingdom gained and lost territories within British North America until left, in the late 18th century, with what mostly geographically comprises Canada today. Pursuant to the British North America Act, on July 1, 1867, the colonies of Canada, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia joined to form the autonomous federal Dominion of Canada. This began an accretion of provinces and territories to the self-governing Dominion to the present ten provinces and three territories forming modern Canada. In 1931, Canada achieved near total independence from the United Kingdom with the Statute of Westminster 1931, and full sovereignty was attained when the Canada Act 1982 removed the last remaining ties of legal dependence on the British parliament.
Mount Royal (French: mont Royal, IPA: [mɔ̃ ʁwajal]) is a large hill or small mountain in the city of Montreal, immediately west of downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada, the city to which it gave its name.
The hill is part of the Monteregian Hills situated between the Laurentians and the Appalachians. It gave its Latin name, Mons Regius, to the Monteregian chain.
The hill consists of three peaks: Colline de la Croix (or Mont Royal proper) at 233 m (764 ft), Colline d'Outremont (or Mount Murray, in the borough of Outremont) at 211 m (692 ft), and Westmount Summit at 201 m (659 ft) elevation above mean sea level.
Some tourist guidebooks, such as the Michelin Guide to Montréal, state that Mount Royal is an extinct volcano. The mountain is not a traditional volcano as such. However, it is the deep extension of a vastly eroded ancient volcanic complex, which was probably active about 125 million years ago. The mountain was created when the North American Plate moved westward over the New England hotspot, along with the other mountains of the Monteregian Hills, by a process known as intrusion: The magma intruded into the sedimentary rocks underneath the area, producing at least eight igneous stocks. The main rock type is a gabbro composed of pyroxene, olivine and variable amounts of plagioclase. During and after the main stage of intrusion, the gabbros and surrounding rocks were intruded by a series of volcanic dikes and sills. Subsequently, the surrounding softer sedimentary rock was eroded, leaving behind the resistant igneous rock that forms the mountain.

Welcome to Montreal, Canada. This extraordinary city, which began life as a French colony in the 1600s, is now a stunning metropolis combining old-world architecture with modern dashes. When Mark Twain visited Montreal in the 19th century, he was so taken by its many churches that he nicknamed it “The City of 100 Bell Towers.” These numerous buildings are often part of Montreal sightseeing; marvel at the imposing stone façade of Christ Church Cathedral, or stand beneath the great arched ceiling of the beautiful Notre Dame Basilica. You can spend days exploring the city’s many sacred spaces, but Montreal tourism is so much more than that; if you’re a foodie, you’re in luck, because the residents of Montreal adore a good meal, whether it’s poutine from a streetside bistro or fresh produce f...

Although Montreal is located 1,600 kilometres from the open sea, it owes its wealth to its waterways which stretch from the country's interior, to the ocean. http://www.expedia.com/Montreal-and-vicinity.d178288.Destination-Travel-Guides Montreal is located in the middle of the St. Lawrence river in southwest Quebec. It is Canada’s second largest city and has the largest population of French speakers outside of Paris. Here is a Canadian city with a French soul, a big heart and a very hip attitude. Incredible French vibes in the old port of Montreal. You can't help but feel like you're in Europe despite Montreal only being around 350 years old. Canada is young. The kind of young you'd ask to see ID at the liquor store for. .

I guess you had no idea that you could have persuaded me
Girl you could have had me doing anything you pleased
Know you should have took your time and thought of what to say to me
Cus I'm not as hard as I make it seem to be
And it could have went so many ways, so many ways it can go
Cus aint nobody feels the way that I feel when I'm alone
So if I said that I won't call then that could come natural to me
You probably could have had it all you could have been that lonely star
If we just went on
If we just went on (oh yeah)
If we just went on
If we just went on
Happiness exists, when you don't know a thing
So I hope you don't think this song is about you...
And only I can know, how close you came...
But baby I'm a pro at letting go. I love it when they come and go
But it could have went so many ways, so many ways it can go
Cus aint nobody feels the way that I feel when I'm alone
So If I said that I won't call then that could come natural to me
You probably could have had it all you could have been that lonely star
If we just went on
If we just went on (yeah)
If we just went on
If we just went on
If we just went on (oooh baby)
If we just went on
If we just went on (oh yeah)
If we just went on (oh yeah)
