Woman hit by bus in Brisbane's north 'bleeding seriously from neck'

A woman was "bleeding seriously" from the neck after she was hit by a bus in Brisbane's north early on Tuesday.

A witness to the accident, outside Taigum Shopping Centre about 6.10am on Tuesday, told police the woman was bleeding seriously from the neck.

Paramedics rushed to the Beams Road address and took the woman, thought to be in her 20s, to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a stable condition.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the woman had a cut to the neck.

Both the 325 and 335 buses were briefly skipping the stop following the crash but later resumed, according to Translink.
