Zion National Park is a jewel that was created by the power of nature and the strength of the river.
Many thousands of years ago, the Virgin River was making its way to the south, winding in the soft formations of a young Colorado Plateau. Over time, the plateau began to rise, driven by the powerful forces of Earth, and little river had to fight its way through it, “biting” into the rock and washing away particles of gravel and sand “on the way”. Thus, thanks to the perseverance and persistence of the Virgin River an amazingly beautiful canyon appeared on Earth – Zion Canyon, which has become the main attraction of the national park with the same name.

Homerun - Baseball Park Documentary

While the diamond and the areas denoted by white painted lines adhere to strict rules, guidelines for the rest of the field are flexible.
The term "ballpark" sometimes refers either to the entire structure, or sometimes to just the playing field. A home run where the player makes it around the bases, and back to home plate, without the ball leaving the playing field is typically called an "inside-the-park" home run. A documentary about a journey to "The Edge of the Earth". The Gates of the Arctic National Park is the northernmost national park in the U.S. (the entirety of the park lies north of the Arctic Circle).There are no established roads, trails, visitor facilities, or campgrounds in the park.
Following the Alatna River you will see an amazing place people rarely see, including the amazing Arrigetch Peaks.
"For the next two weeks you must survive using the knowledge, skills and gear you bring with you. You will walk or float through intact ecosystems where people have lived with the land for thousands of years. You will experience solitude, self reliance and nature on its own terms. Are you prepared?"

Park (film)
Park is the name of an independent comedy-drama film released in 2007. It was produced by Dana Jackson and directed by Kurt Voelker.
The story revolves around a Los Angeles park, where ten colorful characters encounter love - and loss - in the course of one day.
It received the Audience Award at the 8th Annual CineVegas Festival where it was premiered in June 2006. After a limited theatrical run in 2007, it was released on DVD on May 20, 2008.

A baseball park, also known as a ballpark or baseball stadium, is a venue where baseball is played. A baseball park consists of the playing field and the surrounding spectator seating. While the diamond and the areas denoted by white painted lines adhere to strict rules, guidelines for the rest of the field are flexible.
The term "ballpark" sometimes refers either to the entire structure, or sometimes to just the playing field. A home run where the player makes it around the bases, and back to home plate, without the ball leaving the playing field is typically called an "inside-the-park" home run. Sometimes a home run over the fence is called "out of the ballpark", but that phrase more often means a home run that clears the stands and lands outside the building.

Following the Alatna River you will see an amazing place people rarely see, including the amazing Arrigetch Peaks.
"For the next two weeks you must survive using the knowledge, skills and gear you bring with you. You will walk or float through intact ecosystems where people have lived with the land for thousands of years. You will experience solitude, self reliance and nature on its own terms. Are you prepared?"
Filmed using Solar Power for Two Weeks = 10,000 combined shutter releases and video clips. Below is the link to how I accomplished this and stored all the pictures and video files.

Last May, The FADER spent a week with the rapper Vic Mensa in Chicago shooting our first video cover story, Down To Start A Riot. Mensa had recently joined Kanye West on stage at the BRIT Awards and was, along with the rest of his SAVEMONEY crew, teetering on the edge of breaking out in a major way. As Mensa's go-to producer and friend-since-grammar-school Stefan Ponce recalls, "He really did what he always knew he was going to do. Like, damn, this guy is really about to change his life."
Citing the versatility of SAVEMONEY's sound and the breadth of their projects, the documentary's director Aaron Brown says that, "It was cool to see what [Mensa and the SAVEMONEY guys] were doing, because they were doing something that has a lot more dimension." Brown spent time with Vic in the studio, where there was work to be done and fun to be had; followed him through the streets of Hyde Park, where he recalls seeing the body of a slain classmate as a teenager and where he is now stopped by admirers on the street; and he filmed him freestyling on a subway platform.
"I had the idea of trying to explore the genre of documentary, just trying to pick the pieces apart of a rapper," Brown says of the dramatic subway station session. "I was thinking of an acapella verse as a voiceover in a documentary, that's what it was. Just trying to freshen it up. We've all seen a bunch of rap videos and a bunch of documentaries, so it was asking, how can we think about them as one thing."

They traveled to a majority of the locations by bicycle, carrying camera equipment and a ball in their backpacks. The film's title refers as much to the subject matter as it does to the method of filmmaking, providing an unprecedented perspective on urban America's most popular, and accessible, free recreation.

DOIN' IT IN THE PARK: PICK-UP BASKETBALL, NYC explores the history, culture and social impact of New York's summer b-ball scene, widely recognized as the worldwide "Mecca" of the sport.
In New York City, pick-up basketball is not just a sport. It is a way of life. There are 700+ outdoor courts, and an estimated 500,000 players, the most loyal of which approach the game as a religion, and the playground as their church.
"You can play high school or college for four years. You can play Pro for a decade. You can play pick-up ... for life."
DOIN' IT IN THE PARK: PICK-UP BASKETBALL, NYC lovingly uncovers this movement through the voices of playground legends, NBA athletes, and most importantly the common ballplayer who all day looks forward to calling "next" game at their local schoolyard.
Co-directors Bobbito Garcia and Kevin Couliau visited 180 courts throughout NYC's five boroughs to create their debut documentary. They traveled to a majority of the locations by bicycle, carrying camera equipment and a ball in their backpacks. The film's title refers as much to the subject matter as it does to the method of filmmaking, providing an unprecedented perspective on urban America's most popular, and accessible, free recreation.

Foram 22 dias de muitas emoções, desbravamos e retratamos a natureza com outro olhar, tendo caminhado e escalado por inúmeras montanhas e enfrentando madrugadas congelantes com temperatura negativa, e umidade 98%.
Nosso Fusca foi a peça chave para chegarmos a tempo aos locais de grande dificuldade, agrademos nosso motor aspirado e seu belo sistema de controle de tração. Assim chegamos a tempo em todos os cenários escolhidos.
Vivemos varias aventuras! Afinal captar imagens usando a técnica de time lapse varia de horas a semanas, e milhares de fotos para serem construídas.
Contudo deu-se o resultado esperado. Que seja um prazer para seus olhos e que leve para você a mesma emoção que nos trouxe durante vinte dois dias de muito empenho e dedicação de toda equipe
Este foi o primeiro Parque Nacional do Brasil, criado em junho de 1937.
Situado na Serra da Mantiqueira, o Parque Nacional do Itatiaia abrange os municípios de Itatiaia e Resende no Estado do Rio de Janeiro e Bocaina de Minas e Itamonte no Estado de Minas Gerais, onde ficam aproximadamente 60% de seu território. A Unidade está localizada entre as cidades do Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo, próximo à Rodovia Presidente Dutra, tendo como pólo econômico mais próximo a cidade de Resende. Apresenta um relevo caracterizado por montanhas e elevações rochosas, com altitude variando de 600 a 2.791 m, no seu ponto culminante, o Pico das Agulhas Negras.
Na região do Planalto do Itatiaia, também conhecida como Parte Alta, encontram-se os campos de altitude e os vales suspensos onde nascem vários rios. A área do Parque abrange nascentes de 12 importantes bacias hidrográficas regionais, que drenam para duas bacias principais: a do rio Grande, afluente do rio Paraná, e a do rio Paraíba do Sul, o mais importante do Rio de Janeiro.
A parte baixa caracteriza-se principalmente por sua vegetação exuberante e generosos cursos d'água, com diversas áreas apropriadas para banho. Tem fácil acesso a partir da Via Dutra e recebe o maior fluxo de turistas do Parque, concentrando a maior parte da estrutura de visitação, com destaque para o Centro de Visitantes, revitalizado para os 70 anos do parque.

Negotiations between trade unions and Government representatives on pay restoration for about 300,000 staff in the public service will begin in earnest this week. The talks,which formally commenced last week with opening statements from both sides and a briefing provided by the Department of Public Expenditureand Reform on the “fiscal space” available for a deal, will resume this afternoon ... ....
