Radio is the use of radio waves is to carry information, such as sound, by systematically modulating some property of electromagnetic energy waves transmitted through space, such as their amplitude, frequency, phase, or pulse width. When radio waves strike an electrical conductor, the oscillating fields induce an alternating current in the conductor. The information in the waves can be extracted and transformed back into its original form.
Radio systems need a transmitter to modulate (change) some property of the energy produced to impress a signal on it, for example using amplitude modulation or angle modulation (which can be frequency modulation or phase modulation). Radio systems also need an antenna to convert electric currents into radio waves, and vice versa. An antenna can be used for both transmitting and receiving. The electrical resonance of tuned circuits in radios allow individual stations to be selected. The electromagnetic wave is intercepted by a tuned receiving antenna. A radio receiver receives its input from an antenna and converts it into a form usable for the consumer, such as sound, pictures, digital data, measurement values, navigational positions, etc. Radio frequencies occupy the range from a 3 kHz to 300 GHz, although commercially important uses of radio use only a small part of this spectrum.

Polskie Radio Spółka Akcyjna (PR S.A.; English: Polish Radio) is Poland's state-owned national publicly funded radio broadcasting organization. It is headed by politically appointed managers and hence its coverage is considered as biased towards government.
Polskie Radio was founded on 18 August 1925 and began making regular broadcasts from Warsaw on 18 April 1926.
Czesław Miłosz, recipient of the 1980 Nobel Prize in Literature, worked as a literary programmer in Vilnius for Polish Radio in 1936.
Before the Second World War, Polish Radio operated one national channel – broadcast from 1931 from one of Europe's most powerful longwave transmitters, situated at Raszyn just outside Warsaw and destroyed in 1939 due to invasion of German Army – and nine regional stations:
The Baltic Sea is a sea of the Atlantic Ocean, enclosed by Scandinavia, Finland, the Baltic countries, and the North European Plain. It includes the Gulf of Bothnia, the Bay of Bothnia, the Gulf of Finland, the Gulf of Riga, and the Bay of Gdańsk. The sea stretches from 53°N to 66°N latitude and from 10°E to 30°E longitude. A mediterranean sea of the Atlantic, with limited water exchange between the two bodies, the Baltic Sea drains through the Danish islands into the Kattegat by way of the straits of Øresund, the Great Belt, and the Little Belt.
The Baltic Proper is bordered on its northern edge, at the latitude 60°N, by the Åland islands and the Gulf of Bothnia, on its northeastern edge by the Gulf of Finland, on its eastern edge by the Gulf of Riga, and in the West by the South-Swedish part of the Scandinavian Peninsula.
The Baltic Sea is connected by artificial waterways to the White Sea via the White Sea Canal and to the German Bight of the North Sea via the Kiel Canal.

On June 19th the Swedish-based diving company Ocean X Team discovered something unusual on the sonar while they were exploring the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland looking for sunken treasures. They found a 197 feet diameter cylinder shaped object at the depth of approximately 275 feet. Much mystery surrounds the object. Peter Lindberg from the Ocean X Team joins us to discuss the details and anomalies of the object. He'll talk about how the object is giving off electrical interference and disturbing their research gear. Peter provides us with up to date information on their research results and current news. We speculate on what this mysterious object may be. http://www.redicecreations.com/

Today we launch the Nexø I rocket. This rocket is the next step towards our goal of flying an amateur astronaut into space. Standing 5,6 m tall, it’s our first fully guided and liquid fuelled rocket, It demonstrates systems like thrust vectoring and ballute/parachute descend, Launched from our sailing launch platform in the Baltic Sea east of Denmark, it will reach a 6-10km before landing back in the ocean by parachute. In the coming years the systems and technology tested on Nexø I will be used to build the big Spica rocket and space capsule. If you want to follow the checklist from the radio communication, go to this page: http://copenhagensuborbitals.com/flight-plan-nexo/ Please consider a donation to Copenhagen Suborbitals, and the next rocket, the Nexø II, that includes Dynamic Pre...
Linda Moulton Howe - BALTIC SEA MYSTERY DEEPENS #lindamoultonhowe #antarctica #earthfiles
MS Estonia, previously Viking Sally (1980–1990), Silja Star (−1991), and Wasa King (−1993), was a cruise ferry built in 1979/80 at the German shipyard Meyer Werft in Papenburg. The ship sank in 1994 in the Baltic Sea in one of the worst maritime disasters of the 20th century. It is the deadliest shipwreck disaster to have occurred within Europe in peacetime, costing 852 lives. The Estonia disaster occurred on Wednesday, 28 September 1994, between about 00:55 to 01:50 (UTC+2) as the ship was crossing the Baltic Sea, en route from Tallinn, Estonia, to Stockholm. Estonia was on a scheduled crossing with departure at 19:00 on 27 September. She had been expected in Stockholm the next morning at about 09:30. She was carrying 989 people: 803 passengers and 186 crew. Most of the passengers were Sc...

To me, this 2003 episode of "Deep Sea Detectives" on the sinking of the "Estonia" ferry boat in the Baltic Sea is important for one major reason. That major reason is that its shows the total corruption and malfeasance of the government of Sweden. Swedish politicians since the unsolved murder of Prime Minister Olof Palme in 1986 all dance to the tune of an off-stage organ grinder. These controlled politicians just follow orders. Palme's political ally and potential successor after his murder, Bernt Carlsson, was a passenger on Pan Am Flight 103 on December 21, 1988, when the jet crashed into Lockerbie. Currently, as "rapefugees" sexually assault thousands of Swedish women with virtual impunity, the government of Sweden, under United States direction, continues to press for the deport...
