Flamboyant (from French flamboyant, "flaming") is the name given to a florid style of late Gothic architecture in vogue in France from about 1350 until it was superseded by Renaissance architecture during the early 16th century, and mainly used in describing French buildings. The term is sometimes used of the early period of English Gothic architecture usually called the Decorated Style; the historian Edward Augustus Freeman proposed this in a work of 1851. A version of the style spread to Spain and Portugal during the 15th century. It evolved from the Rayonnant style and the English Decorated Style and was marked by even greater attention to decoration and the use of double curved tracery. The term was first used by Eustache-Hyacinthe Langlois (1777–1837), and like all the terms mentioned in this paragraph except "Sondergotik" describes the style of window tracery, which is much the easiest way of distinguishing within the overall Gothic period, but ignores other aspects of style. In England the later part of the period is known as Perpendicular architecture. In Germany Sondergotik ("Special Gothic") is the more usual term.

Pet Shop is a 1994 film by Moonbeam Entertainment.
An alien couple comes to Earth disguised as a cowboy and cowgirl and buy a pet shop from its owner in an attempt to try to eat some of Earth's children for dinner. They look like normal people aside from the fact that they have a third eye on their foreheads which they cover with their hats. One by one they give some pets to random kids free of charge. The pets at first seem normal, until they change into their alien forms. The kids meet when they return to the pet shop because their pets stop eating and need some type of "vitamins" that the aliens feed them.
Originally intended for a release in the summer of 1994, the film ended up being released on videocassette on March 28, 1995. To this day, the film has never been released on DVD and as of September 26, 2010, neither Paramount Pictures nor Full Moon Features has yet to announce any plans to release the film onto DVD.

You live in a world of excess
Where more is more and less is much less
A day without fame is a waste
And a question of need is a question of taste
You're so flamboyant the way you look
It gets you so much attention
Your sole employment is getting more
You want police intervention
You're so flamboyant the way you live
You really care that they stare
And the press deployment is always there
It's what you do for enjoyment
You live in a time of decay
When the worth of a man
Is how much he can play
Every day
All the public must know
where you are, what you do
'Cause your life is a show and
You're so flamboyant the way you live
And it's not even demeaning
You're so flamboyant it's like a drug
You use to give your life meaning
You're so flamboyant the way you look
It gets you so much attention
Your sole employment is getting more
You want police intervention
Every actor needs an audience
Every action is a performance
It all takes courage
You know it
Just crossing the street
well, it's almost heroic
You're so flamboyant
There you are at another preview
In a pose the artist and you
To look so loud, may be considered tacky
