A magnet (from Greek μαγνήτις λίθος magnḗtis líthos, "Magnesian stone") is a material or object that produces a magnetic field. This magnetic field is invisible but is responsible for the most notable property of a magnet: a force that pulls on other ferromagnetic materials, such as iron, and attracts or repels other magnets.
A permanent magnet is an object made from a material that is magnetized and creates its own persistent magnetic field. An everyday example is a refrigerator magnet used to hold notes on a refrigerator door. Materials that can be magnetized, which are also the ones that are strongly attracted to a magnet, are called ferromagnetic (or ferrimagnetic). These include iron, nickel, cobalt, some alloys of rare earth metals, and some naturally occurring minerals such as lodestone. Although ferromagnetic (and ferrimagnetic) materials are the only ones attracted to a magnet strongly enough to be commonly considered magnetic, all other substances respond weakly to a magnetic field, by one of several other types of magnetism.

Destin Sandlin, born 1981, is an American engineer widely known for his educational video series, Smarter Every Day (SED), which he created in 2007 as an informal series of educational Youtube videos — and which he formally named Smarter Every Day in early 2011, with an episode titled Detonation vs Deflagration.
With more than 3 million subscribers, Sandlin was one of three Youtube channel hosts selected in early 2016, as part of a White House initiative to reach millennial audiences, to conduct a one-on-one interview with President Obama after his final State of the Union address.
Sandlin attended the University of Alabama as an undergraduate, where he studied mechanical engineering. He later obtained a graduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. While an undergraduate, he was awarded the University of Alabama's Outstanding Senior Award. He is a full-time Missile Flight Test Engineer at Redstone Arsenal.
A resident of Alabama, Destin is married with four children (two daughters and two sons); is a practicing Christian and credits his grandfather for having shaped his world view and for encouraging his love of science.

Music : Kontinuum - First Rain [NCS Release] : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKI1P2gEK54 Hey ! After 3 domino videos, Marbomino is back ;) In this project, I use those little magnets that can be used to make cubes and others geometric figures, I think the name is "Neocube". It's really impressive how many tricks you can do with that, at the beginning I didn't think that I could make a whole project based on those magnets, but finally, it was pretty easy and I think there is still lots of cool tricks to discover ! I like this kind of video when I can't do what I want, I'm forced to think of tricks with magnets in that case. It's the opposite of my video "Random screen link" when I just build all the thing that come to my mind, constraints are good for the creativity it allows to find ...

You've been working hard to build a wall;
Constructing borders to stop us all.
And if they keep me out, I'll say goodbye;
It would kill me, but for you I'd try.
No matter how I try to, I found I can't forget you.
It's seven thirty I don't wanna go home;
Cause I'll just end up staying up by the phone. And every time I turn around, I still see you dear I see you here.
And all my friends are saying Ryan what's wrong;
It's seven thirty guys I wanna go home.
Cause everytime I turn around I still see your face;
And I don't want it to go away.
I go all the way to the coast;
If I knew you'd be there, I'd just go.
And every word we'd say, would fight the tide;
Damn the water for trying to rise (push us aside)
On the beach holding your hand;
I'd write our names in the sand.
It's seven thirty I don't wanna go home;
Cause I'll just end up staying up by the phone. And every time I turn around, I still see you dear I see you here.
And all my friends are saying Ryan what's wrong;
It's seven thirty guys I wanna go home.
Cause everytime I turn around I still see your face;
And I don't want it to go away.
(Long vocalization)
Well lately I've been waiting around for anything to change;
Cause it's hard to feel so close to you, but yet so far away.
So far away.
