From the depths of the universe to the inner of our own Earth and the limit of our own existence: the explorer is fascinated by the unknown. The explorer goes over the boundaries of our knowledge in a variety of areas: how to find life on exoplanets all over the universe, what is the source of the extreme life longevity in certain places on our planet, and what is the driving force behind the Earth's plates tectonic?

Time for a cool glow in the dark experiment which doubles up as a delicious treat. Tonic water contains quinine, which glows under the UV light. I decided to make popsicles using tonic water and I also added some gummy bears to make them even more delicious. Another DIY glow in the dark experiment is slime or oobleck using only two ingredients. Mix cornstarch with water and enjoy this satisfying magical slime which transforms from solid to liquid.
Did you know that you can make your very own rainbow sand at home using rice, vinegar and food coloring! Yup, this is such an easy and cool experiment for kids and adults :) You can use your rainbow sand to play or as a room decor. Put it in a vase and decorate your room with it!

Yes, it can be crowded during the day, but we'll explore this mysterous shrine at night when no one is around -- except the wildlife and a few stragglers.
This time, John will explore and explain Kyoto's most popular shrine, Fushimi Inari.
HISTORY:
Fushimi Inari is full of history going back to the year 717!
John interviews one of the Shinto priests and unravel some of the history that might not be in guidebooks. The lengend of Fushimi Inari is revealed!

WHEN TO VISIT:
It may seem impossible to escape the crowds here, but you can!
The hours are officially listed as 10:00 to 16:00 but the shrine is open to all free of charge 24 hours a day.
Best of all it's FREE! Why? The gates!! They're all bought by people and businesses to bring them luck.
The best time to see it is at night. It's when most locals go with thewir friends, high school couples can be seen climbing up together. Night time adventurers will also see a lot of cats! That rustling you hear on the woods outside the orange gates may not always be a cat though ....

How do you get to Fushimi Inari from Kyoto Station?
I could draw you a map, but it's much better to show you by bicycle!
Rent a cycle for the day and see more of Kyoto. Cheap and easy.
KCTP (Kyoto Cycling Tour Project) has a good variety of city bicycles for the surrounding hills or the city. You can reserve online or call and have the bike waiting for you as soon as you arrive.
The city is not always cycle friendly so keep to the left side, use the light after dark and try to avoid pedestrian sidewalks.

Fushimi Inari-taisha
Fushimi Inari Taisha (伏見稲荷大社) is the head shrine of Inari, located in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Japan. The shrine sits at the base of a mountain also named Inari which is 233 metres above sea level, and includes trails up the mountain to many smaller shrines which span 4 kilometers and takes approximately 2 hours to walk up.
Since early Japan, Inari was seen as the patron of business, and merchants and manufacturers have traditionally worshipped Inari. Each of the torii at Fushimi Inari Taisha is donated by a Japanese business. First and foremost, though, Inari is the god of rice.
This popular shrine is said to have as many as 32,000 sub-shrines (bunsha (分社)) throughout Japan.
History
The shrine became the object of imperial patronage during the early Heian period. In 965, Emperor Murakami decreed that messengers carry written accounts of important events to the guardian kami of Japan. These heihaku were initially presented to 16 shrines, including the Inari Shrine.
From 1871 through 1946, Fushimi Inari-taisha was officially designated one of the Kanpei-taisha (官幣大社), meaning that it stood in the first rank of government supported shrines.

Five Nights at Freddy's is an indie point-and-click survival horror video game created by Scott Cawthon. The game centers on a fictional pizza restaurant called "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza", where the player must act as a night security guard, defending themselves from the malfunctioning animatronic animal characters by tracking their movement through the facility using security cameras.
Five Nights at Freddy's was first released on August 8, 2014 on Desura. On August 20, 2014, after it was approved by the service's crowdsourcing platform Greenlight, Five Nights at Freddy's was also released via Steam. Mobile ports of the game have been released for Android and iOS.
Five Nights at Freddy's was the top-selling game on Desura for the week ending August 18, 2014, and the game became the subject of a number of popular "Let's Play" videos on YouTube. What an epic DIY life hack. One of my favorite experiments to do at home is a DIY lava lamp experiment. You need oil, water, food coloring plus a fizz tablet and you can enjoy such an epic and mesmerizing bubble show! This is a great experiment for kids, children but also adults! A great experiment for a school project as well – all your classmates will be impressed. An epic edible experiment plus a DIY prank is edible glass aka DIY lollipop. Prank your friends making them believe that you can eat glass ;) This lollipop looks exactly like glass but tastes amazing. Amazing volcanic eruptions are definitely a hit with kids. To make these cool sensory experiments you need baking soda, food coloring and vinegar. Another one of my favorite experiments to do at home and amazing experiment for kids. We must also make some water experiments! In this DIY science experiments video I made two. First one is skittles water experiment. Watch how the skittles will color the water making a beautiful colored display. Second experiment with water is instant ice! With this amazing water experiment I show you how to freeze ice in seconds. Put a bottle of distilled water in the freezer for about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Now you can grow real ice mountains in front of your eyes. One of my favorite edible experiments are rainbow spaghetti. This experiment is easy to make, you only need food coloring in rainbow shades. Yummy! Some liquids don't mix but they rather float on top of each other due to density. I show a cool DIY density experiment. Children will love making this density tower – definitely an experiment to try at home! When your density tower is built, throw in a fizz tablet and enjoy the show! Time for a cool glow in the dark experiment which doubles up as a delicious treat. Tonic water contains quinine, which glows under the UV light. I decided to make popsicles using tonic water and I also added some gummy bears to make them even more delicious. Another DIY glow in the dark experiment is slime or oobleck using only two ingredients. Mix cornstarch with water and enjoy this satisfying magical slime which transforms from solid to liquid. Did you know that you can make your very own rainbow sand at home using rice, vinegar and food coloring! Yup, this is such an easy and cool experiment for kids and adults :) You can use your rainbow sand to play or as a room decor. Put it in a vase and decorate your room with it! Let's make some lemon volcanoes! This is an epic science experiment to do at home using household items. Children will be impressed for sure. It's also ranked as Japan's no.1 attraction for foreign tourists* Yes, it can be crowded during the day, but we'll explore this mysterous shrine at night when no one is around -- except the wildlife and a few stragglers. This time, John will explore and explain Kyoto's most popular shrine, Fushimi Inari. HISTORY: Fushimi Inari is full of history going back to the year 717! John interviews one of the Shinto priests and unravel some of the history that might not be in guidebooks. The lengend of Fushimi Inari is revealed! Are those gates orange or red? What's the meaning behind the color? Which big Hollywood movie was this shrine featured in? Who cleans all these gates? John wants to know. WHEN TO VISIT: It may seem impossible to escape the crowds here, but you can! The hours are officially listed as 10:00 to 16:00 but the shrine is open to all free of charge 24 hours a day. Best of all it's FREE! Why? The gates!! They're all bought by people and businesses to bring them luck. The best time to see it is at night. It's when most locals go with thewir friends, high school couples can be seen climbing up together. Night time adventurers will also see a lot of cats! That rustling you hear on the woods outside the orange gates may not always be a cat though .... KYOTO BY BICYCLE: How do you get to Fushimi Inari from Kyoto Station? I could draw you a map, but it's much better to show you by bicycle! Rent a cycle for the day and see more of Kyoto. Cheap and easy. KCTP (Kyoto Cycling Tour Project) has a good variety of city bicycles for the surrounding hills or the city. You can reserve online or call and have the bike waiting for you as soon as you arrive. The city is not always cycle friendly so keep to the left side, use the light after dark and try to avoid pedestrian sidewalks. One of my favorite experiments to do at home is a DIY lava lamp experiment. You need oil, water, food coloring plus a fizz tablet and you can enjoy such an epic and mesmerizing bubble show! This is a great experiment for kids, children but also adults! A great experiment for a school project as well – all your classmates will be impressed.
An epic edible experiment plus a DIY prank is edible glass aka DIY lollipop. Prank your friends making them believe that you can eat glass ;) This lollipop looks exactly like glass but tastes amazing.
Amazing volcanic eruptions are definitely a hit with kids. To make these cool sensory experiments you need baking soda, food coloring and vinegar. Another one of my favorite experiments to do at home and amazing experiment for kids.
We must also make some water experiments! In this DIY science experiments video I made two. First one is skittles water experiment. Watch how the skittles will color the water making a beautiful colored display.
Second experiment with water is instant ice! With this amazing water experiment I show you how to freeze ice in seconds. Put a bottle of distilled water in the freezer for about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Now you can grow real ice mountains in front of your eyes.
One of my favorite edible experiments are rainbow spaghetti. This experiment is easy to make, you only need food coloring in rainbow shades. Yummy!
Some liquids don't mix but they rather float on top of each other due to density. I show a cool DIY density experiment. Children will love making this density tower – definitely an experiment to try at home! When your density tower is built, throw in a fizz tablet and enjoy the show!
Time for a cool glow in the dark experiment which doubles up as a delicious treat. Tonic water contains quinine, which glows under the UV light. I decided to make popsicles using tonic water and I also added some gummy bears to make them even more delicious. Another DIY glow in the dark experiment is slime or oobleck using only two ingredients. Mix cornstarch with water and enjoy this satisfying magical slime which transforms from solid to liquid.
Did you know that you can make your very own rainbow sand at home using rice, vinegar and food coloring! Yup, this is such an easy and cool experiment for kids and adults :) You can use your rainbow sand to play or as a room decor. Put it in a vase and decorate your room with it!
Let's make some lemon volcanoes! This is an epic science experiment to do at home using household items. Children will be impressed for sure. Things you will need are a lemon, baking soda and optionally food coloring plus dish soap. What an affordable and easy science experiment!

Kyoto's "Shrine of 10,000 'Torii'" or Gates is simply awesome. It's also ranked as Japan's no.1 attraction for foreign tourists*
Yes, it can be crowded during the day, but we'll explore this mysterous shrine at night when no one is around -- except the wildlife and a few stragglers.
This time, John will explore and explain Kyoto's most popular shrine, Fushimi Inari.
HISTORY:
Fushimi Inari is full of history going back to the year 717!
John interviews one of the Shinto priests and unravel some of the history that might not be in guidebooks. The lengend of Fushimi Inari is revealed!

WHEN TO VISIT:
It may seem impossible to escape the crowds here, but you can!
The hours are officially listed as 10:00 to 16:00 but the shrine is open to all free of charge 24 hours a day.
Best of all it's FREE! Why? The gates!! They're all bought by people and businesses to bring them luck.
The best time to see it is at night. It's when most locals go with thewir friends, high school couples can be seen climbing up together. Night time adventurers will also see a lot of cats! That rustling you hear on the woods outside the orange gates may not always be a cat though ....

Rent a cycle for the day and see more of Kyoto. Cheap and easy.
KCTP (Kyoto Cycling Tour Project) has a good variety of city bicycles for the surrounding hills or the city. You can reserve online or call and have the bike waiting for you as soon as you arrive.
The city is not always cycle friendly so keep to the left side, use the light after dark and try to avoid pedestrian sidewalks.

Lifetime explorer Michel Poulain is a demographer investigating migration flows, but his research on so-called 'blue zones' gives him the most satisfaction. Blue zones are places where exceptionally many people live from the age of 100 years old. They can be found for example in Japan, Costa Rica, Greece and Italy. Nothing stops him in the global search for the ingredients for a long and healthy life.
For the flamboyant and well-known Earth explorer Trond Helge Torsvik it is certain: in our own world there is another world to explore. One of my favorite experiments to do at home is a DIY lava lamp experiment. You need oil, water, food coloring plus a fizz tablet and you can enjoy such an epic and mesmerizing bubble show! This is a great experiment for kids, children but also adults! A great experiment for a school project as well – all your classmates will be impressed.
An epic edible experiment plus a DIY prank is edible glass aka DIY lollipop. Prank your friends making them believe that you can eat glass ;) This lollipop looks exactly like glass but tastes amazing.
Amazing volcanic eruptions are definitely a hit with kids. To make these cool sensory experiments you need baking soda, food coloring and vinegar. Another one of my favorite experiments to do at home and amazing experiment for kids.
We must also make some water experiments! In this DIY science experiments video I made two. First one is skittles water experiment. Watch how the skittles will color the water making a beautiful colored display.
Second experiment with water is instant ice! With this amazing water experiment I show you how to freeze ice in seconds. Put a bottle of distilled water in the freezer for about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Now you can grow real ice mountains in front of your eyes.
One of my favorite edible experiments are rainbow spaghetti. This experiment is easy to make, you only need food coloring in rainbow shades. Yummy!
Some liquids don't mix but they rather float on top of each other due to density. I show a cool DIY density experiment. Children will love making this density tower – definitely an experiment to try at home! When your density tower is built, throw in a fizz tablet and enjoy the show!
Time for a cool glow in the dark experiment which doubles up as a delicious treat. Tonic water contains quinine, which glows under the UV light. I decided to make popsicles using tonic water and I also added some gummy bears to make them even more delicious. Another DIY glow in the dark experiment is slime or oobleck using only two ingredients. Mix cornstarch with water and enjoy this satisfying magical slime which transforms from solid to liquid.
Did you know that you can make your very own rainbow sand at home using rice, vinegar and food coloring! Yup, this is such an easy and cool experiment for kids and adults :) You can use your rainbow sand to play or as a room decor. Put it in a vase and decorate your room with it!
Let's make some lemon volcanoes! This is an epic science experiment to do at home using household items. Children will be impressed for sure. Things you will need are a lemon, baking soda and optionally food coloring plus dish soap. What an affordable and easy science experiment!
In the video I also show you a melting experiment which shows that some materials and objects change from solid to liquid or even gas when heated. We're making edible chocolate bowls using balloons. Kyoto's "Shrine of 10,000 'Torii'" or Gates is simply awesome. It's also ranked as Japan's no.1 attraction for foreign tourists*
Yes, it can be crowded during the day, but we'll explore this mysterous shrine at night when no one is around -- except the wildlife and a few stragglers.
This time, John will explore and explain Kyoto's most popular shrine, Fushimi Inari.
HISTORY:
Fushimi Inari is full of history going back to the year 717!
John interviews one of the Shinto priests and unravel some of the history that might not be in guidebooks. The lengend of Fushimi Inari is revealed!
Are those gates orange or red?
What's the meaning behind the color?
Which big Hollywood movie was this shrine featured in?
Who cleans all these gates?
John wants to know.
WHEN TO VISIT:
It may seem impossible to escape the crowds here, but you can!
The hours are officially listed as 10:00 to 16:00 but the shrine is open to all free of charge 24 hours a day.
Best of all it's FREE! Why? The gates!! They're all bought by people and businesses to bring them luck.
The best time to see it is at night. It's when most locals go with thewir friends, high school couples can be seen climbing up together. Night time adventurers will also see a lot of cats! That rustling you hear on the woods outside the orange gates may not always be a cat though ....

Yes, it can be crowded during the day, but we'll explore this mysterous shrine at night when no one is around -- except the wildlife and a few stragglers.
This time, John will explore and explain Kyoto's most popular shrine, Fushimi Inari.
HISTORY:
Fushimi Inari is full of history going back to the year 717!
John interviews one of the Shinto priests and unravel some of the history that might not be in guidebooks. The lengend of Fushimi Inari is revealed!
Are those gates orange or red?
What's the meaning behind the color?
Which big Hollywood movie was this shrine featured in?
Who cleans all these gates?
John wants to know.
WHEN TO VISIT:
It may seem impossible to escape the crowds here, but you can!
The hours are officially listed as 10:00 to 16:00 but the shrine is open to all free of charge 24 hours a day.
Best of all it's FREE! Why? The gates!! They're all bought by people and businesses to bring them luck.
The best time to see it is at night. It's when most locals go with thewir friends, high school couples can be seen climbing up together. Night time adventurers will also see a lot of cats! That rustling you hear on the woods outside the orange gates may not always be a cat though ....

Blue zones are places where exceptionally many people live from the age of 100 years old. They can be found for example in Japan, Costa Rica, Greece and Italy. Nothing stops him in the global search for the ingredients for a long and healthy life.
For the flamboyant and well-known Earth explorer Trond Helge Torsvik it is certain: in our own world there is another world to explore. First DIY science experiment to do at home is milk galaxy! An easy experiment for kids and school using only household items. All you need for a magical galaxy on a plate is hole milk, food coloring and dish soap. This Experiment is so easy and affordable but super fascinating to watch! Children will love it!
Let's make cute DIY banana messages! All you need is a toothpick and you can make drawings on bananas. What an epic DIY life hack.
One of my favorite experiments to do at home is a DIY lava lamp experiment. You need oil, water, food coloring plus a fizz tablet and you can enjoy such an epic and mesmerizing bubble show! This is a great experiment for kids, children but also adults! A great experiment for a school project as well – all your classmates will be impressed.
An epic edible experiment plus a DIY prank is edible glass aka DIY lollipop. Prank your friends making them believe that you can eat glass ;) This lollipop looks exactly like glass but tastes amazing.
Amazing volcanic eruptions are definitely a hit with kids. To make these cool sensory experiments you need baking soda, food coloring and vinegar. Another one of my favorite experiments to do at home and amazing experiment for kids.
We must also make some water experiments! In this DIY science experiments video I made two. First one is skittles water experiment. Watch how the skittles will color the water making a beautiful colored display.
Second experiment with water is instant ice! With this amazing water experiment I show you how to freeze ice in seconds. Put a bottle of distilled water in the freezer for about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Now you can grow real ice mountains in front of your eyes.
One of my favorite edible experiments are rainbow spaghetti. This experiment is easy to make, you only need food coloring in rainbow shades. Yummy!
Some liquids don't mix but they rather float on top of each other due to density. I show a cool DIY density experiment. Children will love making this density tower – definitely an experiment to try at home! When your density tower is built, throw in a fizz tablet and enjoy the show!
Time for a cool glow in the dark experiment which doubles up as a delicious treat. Tonic water contains quinine, which glows under the UV light. I decided to make popsicles using tonic water and I also added some gummy bears to make them even more delicious. Another DIY glow in the dark experiment is slime or oobleck using only two ingredients. Mix cornstarch with water and enjoy this satisfying magical slime which transforms from solid to liquid.
Did you know that you can make your very own rainbow sand at home using rice, vinegar and food coloring! Yup, this is such an easy and cool experiment for kids and adults :) You can use your rainbow sand to play or as a room decor. Put it in a vase and decorate your room with it!
Let's make some lemon volcanoes! This is an epic science experiment to do at home using household items. Children will be impressed for sure. Things you will need are a lemon, baking soda and optionally food coloring plus dish soap. What an affordable and easy science experiment!
In the video I also show you a melting experiment which shows that some materials and objects change from solid to liquid or even gas when heated. We're making edible chocolate bowls using balloons.
