Unknown or The Unknown may refer to:
Avalon (/ˈævəˌlɒn/; Welsh: Ynys Afallon; probably from afal, meaning "apple") is a legendary island featured in the Arthurian legend. It first appears in Geoffrey of Monmouth's 1136 pseudohistorical account Historia Regum Britanniae ("The History of the Kings of Britain") as the place where King Arthur's sword Excalibur was forged and later where Arthur was taken to recover from his wounds after the Battle of Camlann. Avalon was associated from an early date with mystical practices and people such as Morgan le Fay.
Geoffrey of Monmouth referred to it in Latin as Insula Avallonis in the Historia. In the later Vita Merlini he called it Insula Pomorum the "isle of fruit trees" (from Latin pōmus "fruit tree"). The name is generally considered to be of Welsh origin (though an Old Cornish or Old Breton origin is also possible), derived from Old Welsh aball, "apple/fruit tree" (in later Middle Welsh spelled avall; now Modern Welsh afall). In Breton, apple is spelled "aval"/ "avaloù" in plural. It is also possible that the tradition of an "apple" island among the British was influenced by Irish legends concerning the otherworld island home of Manannán mac Lir and Lugh, Emain Ablach (also the Old Irish poetic name for the Isle of Man), where Ablach means "Having Apple Trees" – derived from Old Irish aball ("apple")—and is similar to the Middle Welsh name Afallach, which was used to replace the name Avalon in medieval Welsh translations of French and Latin Arthurian tales. All are etymologically related to the Gaulish root *aballo- (as found in the place name Aballo/Aballone, now Avallon in Burgundy or in the Italian surname Avallone) and are derived from a Common Celtic *abal- "apple", which is related at the Proto-Indo-European level to English apple, Russian яблоко (jabloko), Latvian ābele, et al.

Hollywood (/ˈhɒliwʊd/ HOL-ee-wuud) is a neighborhood in the central region of Los Angeles, California. The neighborhood is notable for its place as the home of the U.S. film industry, including several of its historic studios. Its name has come to be a metonym for the motion picture industry of the United States. Hollywood is also a highly ethnically diverse, densely populated, economically diverse neighborhood and retail business district.
Hollywood was a small community in 1870 and was incorporated as a municipality in 1903. It officially merged with the city of Los Angeles in 1910, and soon thereafter a prominent film industry began to emerge, eventually becoming the most recognizable film industry in the world.
In 1853, one adobe hut stood in Nopalera (Nopal field), named for the Mexican Nopal cactus indigenous to the area. By 1870, an agricultural community flourished. The area was known as the Cahuenga Valley, after the pass in the Santa Monica Mountains immediately to the north.
New Year is the time at which a new calendar year begins and the calendar's year count increments by one. Many cultures celebrate the event in some manner. The New Year of the Gregorian calendar, today mostly in use, falls on 1 January (New Year's Day), as was the case both in the old Roman calendar (at least after about 713 BCE) and in the Julian calendar that succeeded it. The order of months was January to December in the Old Roman calendar during the reign of King Numa Pompilius in about 700 BCE, according to Plutarch and Macrobius, and has been in continuous use since that time. Many countries, such as the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, the UK, and the United States, mark 1 January as a national holiday.
During the Middle Ages in western Europe, while the Julian calendar was still in use, authorities moved New Year's Day variously, depending upon locale, to one of several other days, among them: 1 March, 25 March, Easter, 1 September, and 25 December. These New Year's Day changes generally reverted to using January 1 before or during the various local adoptions of the Gregorian calendar, beginning in 1582. The change from March 25 – Lady Day, one of the four quarter days – to January 1 took place in Scotland in 1600, before the ascension of James VI of Scotland to the throne of England in 1603 and well before the formation of the Kingdom of Great Britain in 1707. In England and Wales (and in all British dominions, including Britain's American colonies), 1751 began on March 25 and lasted 282 days, and 1752 began on January 1. For more information about the changeover from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar and the effect on the dating of historical events etc., see Old Style and New Style dates.
Markus Schulz New Year's Eve (NYE) at Avalon in Hollywood, California, spinning a 12-hour marathon set 9 pm - 9 am. Filmed from VIP area upstairs. *Sorry about the dots on the lens!
Score Requirement: ~45000 (98% certain this is the exact amount needed to get an S) Time Requirement: Unknown. No idea if it's overall mission time or it's calculated for each phase of the mission. This took about a dozen attempts to figure out a proper route to maximize points/time. It also didn't help that my capture software decided to freeze on a successful attempt. Obviously, if you have a better plane than the rental, use it.
I've been looking this music for ages. And still couldn't find it. I bought every single OST from Tears to Tiara and most of AquaPlus that contains Tears to Tiara material. However I could not find this track, that is featured in "Tears to Tiara Gaiden: Avalon no Nazo" (PS3 and PSP) trailers. If you know its title or if you already ripped it, please be kind and let me know. Thank you! Does this track appear in any part of the gaiden PS3/PSP BGM game?

A compilation of what I consider the best versions of 'Emiya' by James Harris. If you think some versions are missing despite being worthy to be included - I might not have selected them because they were either too close to the original (UC, CCC, RN2012, F/HA, etc.) or simply didn't fit this video (various doujin versions, Kawai ver.2, 'metal' covers). (0:00) 'Emiya' - Original version by James Harris. (3:10) 'Unite~Emiya' (Unofficial Title) - Cut and Edited from 'Unite~Fate/stay night [Réalta Nua] Suite' by Fukasawa Hideyuki. Hello beautiful souls, today I wanted to share with you a VERY LONG video inspired by by the lovely @heyheyitsmaggiemay on Instagram. This vlog showcases decks that are a quite different for the 3 mains tarot systems, these three systems being Tarot of Marseille, Thoth and Rider Waite Smith. I have tried to be well rounded in my suggestions, choosing decks that may appeal to a variety of tastes. There are 15 deck in total. And I bummed that I forgot the Alice Tarot. I have so many no traditional decks that I found it really hard to choose. Fanimation is home of the world's largest (and presumably only) fan museum, with hundreds of fans from the 1800s to present! There are a great many ceiling fans installed EVERYWHERE in the company, including every single office and cubicle. There is also a great deal of fan-related artwork and memorabilia posted everywhere. I try to show and demonstrate as many fans as possible including some of my favorites: The Enigma (including a prototype version), the Air Shadow, the Avaston, the Torto, and the Levon, I do not know the names of many of the Fanimation models, if viewers could comment with the names of all the models shown, that would be very much appreciated! The upper level of the museum deals primarily with post-1950s ceiling, desk, and hand fans. This section is a work in pro...
Experimental Video using arrows, odds and combat results markers in a playthrough of The Russian Campaign, by Avalon Hill (1976) NOTE: For some strange reason unknown to me, the video shows a flickering effect between clips that I never intended. I will try to find out why this occurred. I find that the flickering could be useful in some instances, but not all the time. As soon as I can, I'll put together a 2nd version without the flickering.
