Sagan may refer to:
Peter Sagan (born 26 January 1990) is a Slovak professional road bicycle racer for World Tour team Tinkoff-Saxo Sagan had a successful junior cyclo-cross and mountain bike racing career, winning the Junior World Championship in 2008, before moving to road racing.
Sagan is considered one of cycling's most promising young talents, having earned many prestigious victories in his early twenties. Supporting this view are victories in: one World Championship, two Paris–Nice stages, three Tirreno–Adriatico stages, one in the Tour de Romandie, two and the overall classification in the Tour de Pologne, a record thirteen in the Tour of California, and eleven in the Tour de Suisse. He has won eight stages in Grand Tours: four in the Vuelta a España and four in the Tour de France. He was also the winner of the points classification in the Tour de France, in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015; as a result, Sagan became the first rider to win the classification in his first four attempts.
Carl Edward Sagan (/ˈseɪɡən/; November 9, 1934 – December 20, 1996) was an American astronomer, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist, author, science popularizer, and science communicator in astronomy and other natural sciences. His contributions were central to the discovery of the high surface temperatures of Venus. However, he is best known for his contributions to the scientific research of extraterrestrial life, including experimental demonstration of the production of amino acids from basic chemicals by radiation. Sagan assembled the first physical messages that were sent into space: the Pioneer plaque and the Voyager Golden Record, universal messages that could potentially be understood by any extraterrestrial intelligence that might find them.
He published more than 600 scientific papers and articles and was author, co-author or editor of more than 20 books. Sagan wrote many popular science books, such as The Dragons of Eden, Broca's Brain and Pale Blue Dot, and narrated and co-wrote the award-winning 1980 television series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage. The most widely watched series in the history of American public television, Cosmos has been seen by at least 500 million people across 60 different countries. The book Cosmos was published to accompany the series. He also wrote the science fiction novel Contact, the basis for a 1997 film of the same name. His papers, containing 595,000 items, are archived at The Library of Congress.
The Tour de France (French pronunciation: [tuʁ də fʁɑ̃s]) is an annual multiple stage bicycle race primarily held in France, while also occasionally making passes through nearby countries. The race was first organized in 1903 to increase paper sales for the magazine L'Auto; it is currently run by the Amaury Sport Organisation. The race has been held annually since its first edition in 1903 except when it was stopped for the two World Wars. As the Tour gained prominence and popularity the race was lengthened and its reach began to extend around the globe. Participation expanded from a primarily French field, as riders from all over the world began to participate in the race each year. The Tour is a UCI World Tour event, which means that the teams that compete in the race are mostly UCI WorldTeams, with the exception of the teams that the organizers invite.
The Tour de France, the Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España make up cycling's prestigious, three-week-long Grand Tours; the Tour is the oldest and generally considered the most prestigious of the three. Traditionally, the race is held primarily in the month of July. While the route changes each year, the format of the race stays the same with the appearance of time trials, the passage through the mountain chains of the Pyrenees and the Alps, and the finish on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The modern editions of the Tour de France consist of 21 day-long segments (stages) over a 23-day period and cover around 3,500 kilometres (2,200 mi). The race alternates between clockwise and counterclockwise circuits of France.
Mark Simon Cavendish, MBE (born 21 May 1985) is a British professional road racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Team Dimension Data. Originally a track cyclist specialising in the madison, points race, and scratch race disciplines, he has competed on the road since 2006, rising to prominence as a sprinter, widely considered one of the best of his era.
On the track Cavendish won gold in the Madison at the 2005 and 2008 world championships riding for Great Britain, with Rob Hayles and Bradley Wiggins respectively, and in the scratch race at the 2006 Commonwealth Games riding for Isle of Man.
As a road cyclist, Cavendish achieved eleven wins in his first professional season, passing the record held by Alessandro Petacchi. Cavendish has won twenty-six Tour de France stages putting him third on the all-time list and fourth on the all-time list of Grand Tour stage winners with forty-four victories. He won the road race at the 2011 road world championships, becoming the second British rider to do so after Tom Simpson in 1965. Other notable wins include the 2009 Milan–San Remo classic and the points classification in all three of the grand tours: the 2010 Vuelta a España, the 2011 Tour de France, and the 2013 Giro d'Italia. In 2012 he became the first person to win the final Champs-Élysées stage in the Tour de France in four consecutive years.

Plot: Marshal W.T. O'Niel is assigned to a mining colony on Io, one of Jupiter's moons. During his tenure miners are dying - usually violently. When the marshal investigates he discovers the one thing all the deaths have in common is a lethal amphetamine-type drug, which allows the miners to work continuously for days at a time until they become "burned out" and expire. O'Niel follows the trail of the dealers, which leads to the man overseeing the colony. Now O'Niel must watch his back at every turn, as those who seek to protect their income begin targeting him...

At the end of a largely uneventful stage, Sagan cut across Cavendish’s racing line and nudged him with an elbow to cause the Manx sprinter to hit the side barriers hard. 1977 Carl Sagan Christmas lectures 1, the earth as a planet. In his first Christmas Lecture, American astronomer and cosmologist Carl Sagan explores planet Earth and the place, scale and geometry of the "pale blue dot" in the Solar System. Sagan provides a unique insight into the history of our knowledge of the third planet from the Sun, formed 4.5 billion years ago. Using images and models of the planets in our Solar System, Sagan reveals how the heliocentric model of our universe, in which the Earth and planets revolve around the Sun, came to replace the earlier Aristotelian idea that our planet was at the centre and everything orbited around it. As the complexity of observational tools has developed from simple telescopes to complex spacecraft, so too has our understanding of the ...
You've ever get the feeling
No matter what they do no matter what they say
You know you'll make it someday
You know the feeling when your back is up against the wall
People say they love you but you ain't convinced at all
Tell them they full of shittin they'll tell ya you insecure
Callin ya immature does that make sense to ya'll?
You ever feel like it's you against the whole world?
Like everybody is scheming even your only girl
Your home boys seem to be counting your money
Tell em you ain't got it n he lookin at you funny
I'm feeling like I probably need ta either leave the game alone
Or either be the cheater bang the chrome n get his hatin on
[Bridge:]
How does the siagon story end how
You know what they sayin for now
[Chorus:]
They'll say I'm killer
I feel I'm as high as I can be
N ya'll ain't gon fly as high as me
I can't be no realaaa
Ya'll ain't gon bring me down [repeats]
I can't be no realaa
Ya'll ain't gonna bring me down
I'm too high but it's not from a drug
It's not from a drink not from a night at the club
It's not from abroad
It's not from what I coped from the deala
I would tell ya
But if I tell ya
Then I gotta kill ya
I've been around a lil while but I'm kinda scared
It's I'll like a vet that's still wet behind the ear
Some niggas look hard
But I don't feel a threat behind the steer
I'm looking for vics
N They could be volunteer
How dare somebody jump out the window ta try n stop me
I wait for niggas then shoot em like I was a paparazzi
Manly's back system knockin the mazzarati
I jump out the back n turn ya block into nagasaki
I shouldn't have always make a issue with the pistol
Just to prove ta kids he's official tissue to the gristle
[Bridge:]
How does the siagon story end how
You know what they sayin for now
[Chorus:]
Just say I'm killer
I feel I'm as high as I can be
N ya'll ain't gon fly as high as me
I can't be no realaaa
Ya'll ain't gon bring me down [repeats]
I can't be no realaa
Ya'll ain't gonna bring me down
I'm too high but it's not from a drug
High on life, love
I'm from above
Just say I'm killer
I feel I'm as high as I can be
N ya'll ain't gon fly as high as me
I can't be no realaaa
Ya'll ain't gon bring me down [repeats]
