Synopsis

Witness is a 1985 American thriller film directed by Peter Weir and starring Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis. The screenplay by William Kelley, Pamela Wallace, and Earl W. Wallace focuses on a detective protecting a young Amish boy who becomes the target of a ruthless killer after he witnesses a brutal murder in Philadelphia's 30th Street train station.
The film was nominated for eight Academy Awards and won two, for Best Original Screenplay and Best Film Editing. Yet another great film by Peter Weir, this 1985 thriller and crime drama saw Harrison Ford's character join an Amish community as part of his police work. This wonderful standalone piece composed by Maurice Jarre matched perfectly with the rousing scene.
Jarre won a BAFTA for his score, and this piece became a regular part of his live concerts. It is heard in synthesiser form in the film, but you can hear an orchestral version here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1xKto5TPZw

The Barn
The Barn is a recording studio on the property of Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio, located in the Green Mountains near Burlington, Vermont.
The door of the outhouse on the south side of the barn serves as the cover of Phish's Farmhouse album.
Reconstructed between 1996 and 1998 from an existing structure, the Alan Irish Barn, The Barn has been used by Phish to record several albums and has hosted all of Anastasio's projects since 1998. In addition, several other artists have recorded or performed at The Barn, including Béla Fleck, John Patitucci, DJ Logic, Toots & the Maytals, Tony Levin, Umphrey's McGee, The Slip, John Medeski, Jerry Douglas, Patty LaBelle, Leo Kottke, Jim Carrey, Addison Groove Project, and Touchpants.
The Barn now serves as the home to the Seven Below Arts Initiative, a non-profit organization formed to advance arts education in Vermont. Following Anastasio's sold-out benefit shows at Webster Hall in New York City, The Barn was modified from a commercial recording facility into an artistic studio, providing housing and studio space to artists participating in the Seven Below residency program. Seven Below has been working with Burlington City Arts to facilitate arts education activities to under-served populations since 2007.

Maurice-Alexis Jarre (13 September 1924 – 28 March 2009) was a French composer and conductor, "one of the giants of 20th century film music" who was "among the most sought-after composers in the movie industry" and "a creator of both subtle underscoring and grand, sweeping themes, not only writing for conventional orchestras... but also experimenting with electronic sounds later in his career."
Although he composed several concert works, Jarre is best known for his film scores, particularly for his collaborations with film director David Lean. Jarre composed the scores to all of Lean's films from Lawrence of Arabia (1962) on. Notable scores for other directors include The Train (1964), Mohammad, Messenger of God (1976), Lion of the Desert (1981), Witness (1985) and Ghost (1990).
Jarre was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Three of his compositions spent a total of 42 weeks on the UK singles chart; the biggest hit was "Somewhere My Love" (to his tune "Lara's Theme", with lyrics by Paul Francis Webster) by the Mike Sammes Singers, which reached Number 14 in 1966 and spent 38 weeks on the chart.

Series brings viewers on a quest that crisscrosses the U.S. for vintage motorcycles and cars. Wheels Through Time Museum curator Dale Walksler hosts this one-of-a-kind journey through America's barns where yesterday's junk becomes automotive Americana that he will bring back to life and sell. Walksler has spent his life searching for long since forgotten gems, and uncovering history in the most unusual and extraordinary places. As his passion grew, so did his collection, eventually evolving into the motorcycle paradise that is the Wheels Through Time Museum.

The Icon Museum and old Orthodox John Cathedral form the frame of the central Macarius Square. The massive construction of the Napa-Ayia Church dominates the old town and the pedestrian zone provides interesting shops, restaurants and street cafes. The city is changing more and more into a modern city. Outside Platanistasa, the Stavros Tou Agiasmati Church stands alone within the wooded mountain scenery. In Orthodox Christianity the figures were meant to depict images of a true archetype of a divine and holy nature, not one created by man. In Lagoudera a large barn roof protects the Panagia Tou Araka Church in which once gathered the first people beyond Palestine and the Holy Land, who discovered the Holy Gospel. Cyprus is an island world with fascinating landscapes and unique historical treasures and a place where summer lasts for ever.

Prague tourism usually involves the Royal Route, a historic coronation path that will take you through Old Town. Walk a few blocks to Old Town Square and sample local street fare in the shadow of old castles and palaces. Old Town itself is full of cafes, restaurants, and galleries, and will provide days of exploration for intrepid visitors.
Cross over the Charles Bridge and climb up to Prague Castle, a network of palaces, churches, and numerous museums. Be careful, as folks were a lot shorter back then – you may have to duck your head as you walk through the low-ceilinged, artifact-filled halls.
Your Prague sightseeing must pause at St. Vitus Cathedral, a massive gothic structure dating back 600 years. You’ll have to arch your back to see over 300 feet to the ceilings, which seem to vanish into the heavens. By the time you’re back outside, it will likely be twilight. You’ll see pigs roasting on spits and people gathered under the statue of St. Wenceslas to share their daily adventures. The people here are friendly, so why not join them and chime in with your own stories?

The most famous of these are the annual Dubai Shopping Festival in January and February and the Dubai Summer Surprises Festival in July and August.
Dubai Aquarium:
One of the city's top tourist attractions, the Dubai Aquarium houses 140 species of sea life in the huge suspended tank on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall. As well as free viewing from the mall, if you enter the Underwater Zoo, you can walk through the aquarium tunnels.Different activities help you get a closer look at the sea life. Glass bottom boat tours (on top of the tank) are particularly popular. Cage snorkeling and shark diving activities are also on offer.
Burj al-Arab:
The Burj Al-Arab is the world's tallest hotel, standing 321 meters high on its own artificial island on the Dubai coastline. Designed to resemble a billowing dhow sail, the exterior of the building is lit up by a choreographed colored lighting show at night. Decadent in every way possible, the Burj Al-Arab is one of the most expensive hotels in the world, with the most luxurious suites costing more than $15,000 for one night.
For those without unlimited credit, the way to experience the over-the-top opulence is to go for dinner at the underwater Al-Mahara restaurant, where floor-to-ceiling glass panels in the dining room walls allow you to view sea life while you eat, or you can enjoy lunch at California-style fusion restaurant Scape. Jumeirah Beach:
This strip of sandy white bliss is the number one beach destination for Dubai visitors. Hotels are strung out all along its length, with this being one of the most popular places to stay for tourists. Dubai Mall:
Dubai Mall is the city's premier mall and provides entry to the Burj Khalifa as well as the Dubai Aquarium. There is also an ice-skating rink, gaming zone and cinema complex if you're looking for more entertainment options. The shopping and eating is endless and there are nearly always special events such as live music and fashion shows within the mall. The most famous of these are the annual Dubai Shopping Festival in January and February and the Dubai Summer Surprises Festival in July and August.
Dubai Aquarium:
One of the city's top tourist attractions, the Dubai Aquarium houses 140 species of sea life in the huge suspended tank on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall. As well as free viewing from the mall, if you enter the Underwater Zoo, you can walk through the aquarium tunnels.Different activities help you get a closer look at the sea life. Glass bottom boat tours (on top of the tank) are particularly popular. Cage snorkeling and shark diving activities are also on offer.
Burj al-Arab:
The Burj Al-Arab is the world's tallest hotel, standing 321 meters high on its own artificial island on the Dubai coastline. Designed to resemble a billowing dhow sail, the exterior of the building is lit up by a choreographed colored lighting show at night. Decadent in every way possible, the Burj Al-Arab is one of the most expensive hotels in the world, with the most luxurious suites costing more than $15,000 for one night.
For those without unlimited credit, the way to experience the over-the-top opulence is to go for dinner at the underwater Al-Mahara restaurant, where floor-to-ceiling glass panels in the dining room walls allow you to view sea life while you eat, or you can enjoy lunch at California-style fusion restaurant Scape. For the ultimate panoramic views over the city, book afternoon tea at the Skyview Bar (a minimum spend is required) on the 27th floor.
Jumeirah Beach:
This strip of sandy white bliss is the number one beach destination for Dubai visitors. Hotels are strung out all along its length, with this being one of the most popular places to stay for tourists. The beach has excellent facilities, with plenty of sun loungers, restaurants, and water-sport operators offering jet skiing.

For centuries Warsaw has been a center of refinement and knowledge. Its strategic position has also made it one of the most invaded countries in Europe.
Shaped by history’s defining events, World War Two, and the closing of the Iron Curtain, Warsaw is a survivor, and has risen from the ashes of war and the shackles of Communism.
Its true heart is its Old Town, the site of the Warsaw Uprising, one of the most heroic resistance actions ever seen against the nazis. After the war much of it, such as the opulent Royal Castle, was painstakingly rebuilt.
One of the few statues not destroyed by the German army, is the mermaid Syrena, the symbol and protector of Warsaw.
Visit St Johns Cathedral and St Anne’s Church, whose interior miraculously survived the war.
The Warsaw Museum, is the keeping place of the city’s dramatic stories.
Warsaw University served as military barracks while education was mostly outlawed, but an underground “secret university” of more than 3000 students emerged.
The POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews was once the infamous Warsaw ghetto, where over 400,000 were incarcerated in just less than one and a half square miles. Nearby, the Warsaw Uprising Monument and the Warsaw Rising Museum pay tribute to one of the bravest chapters of the city’s history.
Visit the Palace of Culture and Science, a gift to the Polish people from Stalin.
Stroll along the Royal Route, a path once used by Polish Kings, today a popular tourist walk, studded with historical sites.
Along Nowy Swiat Street, pass the monument to Polish astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus. Closer to the river is the Copernicus Science Centre.
See the heart of another of Warsaw’s famous sons, Fryderyk Chopin in the Holy Cross Church. His music floats through Lazienki Park, home to Lazienki Palace.
The last stop on the Royal Route is Wilanow Palace, with luxurious artworks and formal gardens.
Since the fall of the Iron Curtain, Poland’s economy has boomed, reflected in the luxury malls, such as Zlote Tarasy and the VITKAC Department store.
Visit Praga to discover venues like the Soho Factory. An ammunition factory now home to a range of stylish shops and the Neon Museum.
These reclaimed urban areas are perhaps the perfect reflection of Warsaw today.

Since the fall of the Iron Curtain, Poland’s economy has boomed, reflected in the luxury malls, such as Zlote Tarasy and the VITKAC Department store.
Visit Praga to discover venues like the Soho Factory. An ammunition factory now home to a range of stylish shops and the Neon Museum.

Cusco is the former capital of the Inca Empire of the Sun. Since the 16th century, Spanish colonial buildings were built atop former Inca Palaces, of which only the foundations remain. Examples in the central Plaza de Armas are the Cusco Cathedral and La Compañia church. Another striking example is Qorikancha, the former golden courtyard of the Temple of the Sun. The Spanish used stones from Sacsayhuaman, an Inca stronghold overlooking the city.
In the Urubamba Valley, or Sacred Valley, visitors can see the mysterious Moray Terraces and the pre-Inca Salt Mines of Maras. Ollantaytambo is a living Inca city and its towering ruins form the start of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
The long-lost Inca bastion was uncovered from the jungle in 1911. It remains a mystery how the Incas managed to stack the heavy granite blocks that make up the city’s buildings so precisely, at high altitude.
Little is also known about how the Incas turned a multi-lingual tribal region in an empire that is now known as one of the greatest civilizations in history.

Day At The Barn
I've been asked a couple of times to do a barn routine video and so I thought I would make a "day at the barn" video. I hope you guys enjoy it, but I want to first apologize for the length. It's so hard to get five hours of video into 26 minutes without sacrificing the overall feeling of the "day". I wanted to give you an honest look at my day, so I pretty much got a clip or two of everything I do all day. Of course I had to shorten a lot of it, like catching the horses... I had to cut out the long walk to find the horses in the big pasture. And the horses' training sessions I could only get a few minutes of each part of their training.. and I sped up a lot of it, since otherwise you guys might as well come visit me and follow me around for five hours! Exploring an Artifact Rich Abandoned House (Great find in the barn!)
So what I am most upset about this explore is that I lost all of the photos I took of close up features. I switched phones and my pass code has slipped my mind. If you visit my Instagram account you can see some of the pictures. And another downside to this vid, I used a digital stabilizer to try and get rid of the shake and wobble, and it didn't go great, so yes, I know there are parts that are blurry or appear fast. Because of all of your comments I have bought a manual stabilizer that I will be using in future vids. I always appreciate constructive criticism, it makes me do better. So what I am most upset about this explore is that I lost all of the photos I took of close up features. I switched phones and my pass code has slipped my mind...
So what I am most upset about this explore is that I lost all of the photos I took of close up features. I switched phones and my pass code has slipped my mind. If you visit my Instagram account you can see some of the pictures. And another downside to this vid, I used a digital stabilizer to try and get rid of the shake and wobble, and it didn't go great, so yes, I know there are parts that are blurry or appear fast. Because of all of your comments I have bought a manual stabilizer that I will be using in future vids. I always appreciate constructive criticism, it makes me do better. Try to look past the glitches and see what this place has to offer..
I drove past this house doing about 80km/h and as I passed the sign of abandonment caught y eye. I pulled a U-turn and I am so happy I did.
This house has more left over artifacts than any house I have seen. Not just garbage, but real insight into the former occupants. As I roamed through this house, I found books, electronics, writing on the walls, appliances, Lego, and a Mercedes Benz. There was so much in this house.
Houses like this, just left alone to rot with so many artifacts tell the story of the previous owners or occupants. This might be my coolest explore in a very long time because finding artifacts leaves so many questions unanswered .
