OHCHR is represented in the country by the Human Rights Section (HRS) of the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH). The role of the Human Rights Section is to support the Haitian authorities, the national human rights institution -  Office de la Protection du Citability for human rights violations and redress for victims.
