A car has crashed into a power pole on Great Eastern Highway causing the structure to fall across the road.
Main Roads said the crash happened near Ferguson Street in Midland.
Police are at the crash scene and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Meanwhile, traffic on the Kwinana Freeway southbound is clogged up after two cars rolled off the road just south Thomas Road in Anketell.
Emergency crews attended the crash scene of the first car, which crashed around 12.30pm with no reports of injuries.
A second car rolled off the road north of Thomas Road a short time later.
Main Roads said traffic is still heavy in the area and motorists were advised to find alternate routes.
