Wild weather has lashed the metropolitan area and parts of the South West, uprooting trees, damaging homes and leaving residents without power.
A strong cold front hit the South West on Thursday night with wind gusts of more than 100km/h battering Cape Leeuwin.
Winds more than 80km/h were also recorded at Ocean Reef and Rottnest.
Close to a thousand homes were still without power on Friday morning including 325 in Morley, 165 in Balga, 100 in Busselton and 100 in Nannup.

There are also 180 homes without power in Moora in the Wheatbelt.
Emergency services crews have had 15 calls for assistance since 3pm on Thursday with one tree damaging a roof in Capel and another in Thornlie.
Parts of the South West have also got a drenching with Bridgetown (27.6mm), Manjimup (26.4mm) and Shannon (24.8mm) getting the heaviest rain falls.
The highest rainfall in Perth up until 9am on Friday was 23.8mm at Bickley.
There is a chance of a thunderstorm in Perth on Friday afternoon and up to 15mm of rain is expected to fall.
Further ahead, it's set to be a wet and windy weekend with rain only easing up by Wednesday, then more rain predicted from Thursday.
